First pitch military discount (didn't apply but we didn't think it would, despite the best efforts of the salesman). Then the multiple discount offers of spending xx would get you xx off, except it turned out that the pitch ALSO required getting the extended warranty. We were told we hit the minimum for free delivery. Except they changed that too & said it would actually be $39 for delivery & no, you couldn't pick it up at the store (ended up waving that, presumably because I was ready to walk away at that point) Delivery was supposed to include removing packaging and waiting for inspection. The delivery crew acted like they didn't speak English to try to get out of both. This was after being told not to let them leave without unboxing everything because there's a strict (stupid) 48hr return window because EVERYTHING is "special order" (it isn't anywhere else in town, interestingly) Last was the get the credit card pitch with a promise of 18mo interest free. That 18mo was lowered to 12mo at check out, stating the promotionhad changed... mimd you, the billing statement puts it at pay be Dec 2026... soooo, also wrong. All in all, it feels deceitful and I don't think I'll be purchasing the like from here again.

My son is a growing teenager and that type of bed is not meant for such. It is made for an average smaller kid. Also, when the delivery employees came to pick up the bed frame they damaged the apartment walls in 2 different spots. Now I'll have to pay for that damage out of my own pocket even though the store manager was sent photos for proof! We just moved into the apartment, so those damaged spots were not there prior. Also, the communication from the staff at Aaron's is very poor throughout. In my experience, Aaron's sells cheap quality furniture for high cost. Overall, I'll never choose Aaron's again!

I could not find the receipt as it was the only item on the very small piece of paper that I most certainly would have never needed as 2" is what I absolutely thought I needed to do the job. The customer service associate asked for my driver's license and I handed it to him and then he proceeded to type out a in-store coupon I would be using for the smaller one I needed. As he handed it to me he stated "Twenty Dollars and some cents", I said what? It cost me almost Twenty-Nine dollars. He said that's all I get without a receipt. I then went to the little machines they have to print a receipt and the associate would not even tell me how to turn it on, no kidding, then and only then did I show dissatisfaction as I said What a Dick! Wow. I'm so mad at myself to let people like this get to me. Anyway I left with the original 2" check valve because I refused to sell it back to them nearly $10 less for a unused item purchased the day before. Therefore also being seventy (70) years young, these people at Menard's are the absolute bottom at customer service help and store policies. What a shame down the drain.

I went to Sherwin-Williams to get paint that matched base housing approved colors. He set me up with painting supplies based on the measurements of the walls I planned to paint and advised what paint type to use. He recommended only doing one coat since it is short term housing (not owned). He specified which rollers would work best and tried to get me the best price. The only downside is that he didn't review the amount of tape we needed. I give 5 stars for great service and assistance. Granted it was probably pricier than Home Depot, but Home Depot would not have taken the same care and endurance of completing our project. Edit: to be clear- the value/quality is worth it, as I said the worker gave me the best price. Additionally the level of service was amazing.
