Bestbuy - only a one word will serve to help you understand this store. "Titantic" As in gigantic, unsinkable. They serve mostly common folks and middle-class, and some wealthy people, as the Titantic did. Let's keep our comments in the store neutral, non political, not assuming anything. There are some awesome people that work here, others, well.... Otherwise it would be 5-stars

I'm amazed at the breadth and depth of products they have; everything from budget items to ultra-high-end appliances. The salespeople were super friendly, knowledgeable and courteous. For comparison I priced out price of a stacked compact washer/dryer set if we had to replace our current Miele units that we purchased 10 years ago and was very surprised that their quote was only 5% more than what we paid back then. And for a much higher spec machine!

I visited Albo Appliance intending to purchase a washer and dryer. During the approximately eight…read moreminutes I was in the store, not a single employee acknowledged my presence. I understand that staff may be busy helping other customers, but a simple greeting, eye contact, or "We'll be with you shortly" would have gone a long way. As a customer prepared to make a significant purchase, I felt unwelcome and ignored. Customer service starts with basic acknowledgment, and unfortunately that was completely absent during my visit. Because of this experience, I chose to take my business elsewhere. I hope management addresses this issue, as potential customers should not feel invisible when they walk into the store.

There seemed to be enough staff and people walking around, although no one checked to see if we needed assistance. I was looking for some home & garden items----specifically a few hanging plants and some light bulbs. No dice. Their home and garden area had some plants which were in pretty sad shape and only 4 hanging plants for over $25 each that looked like they were almost dead. As far as finding a BR 40 indoor flood bulb--- no luck there either. I ended up ordering it online instead.

He had difficulty trying to find it on his computer. I looked up the item I. A second in my phone. Burlington had stock he called the store for us to pick up. All was fine until he mentioned the gas price to get there and said it was Trumps fault. He went on and on about Trump. Even after we told him we were conservatives. He then got more aggressive. Another associate over and heard him ranting at us about the most horrible things and his hatred got louder. We were in shock. The complete unprovoked unprofessional behavior was not acceptable. We have an account here, we shop here often. This was disgustingly disgraceful act at your Mt Laurel nj store. #0194

The problem is Fergusons has grown too big and forces customers to work through their website: Build.com. That website needs work. 1) It's fickle-- sometimes it recognized my email address, sometimes it didn't. 2) ordered pulls took three weeks to arrive; some never arrived at all. 3) returning is a rip-off: each knob comes with its own return fee: a $10 knob costs $7.95 to return. And they won't let you send them all back in the same box; each order is a $7.95 return fee. My salesperson never informed me of this. Reaching your salesperson by phone is a chore, as the phone answering company for the Cherry Hill Store is located in Lansdown, PA. Calls are rerouted-- your phone doesn't recognize the incoming call, etc. It was a time-consuming mess. Also, I tried to buy a $1,500 lighted medicine cabinet; it was more complicated than surgery. Questions had to go through the salesperson who contacts the rep, and then has to get back to me. Now factor in web issues and off-site call centers. And when you do finally connect, no solutions or alternative products are offered, and you've wasted a month. Finally, Ferguson's sends a "how did we do?" survey, but when I went to provide feedback, I got a window saying that my time to do so had expired. Absolutely infuriating. I've found another source for my 6-figure renovation--a streamlined, "family run" place that actually knows what customer service is.

UPDATE: Shout out to Store Manager (Mario) for working with me to resolve this situation…read more Good to know some people still have a heart and can apply logic despite "policy". Thanks again! ---- Original Post---- As a homeowner, my husband and I have shopped in both Lowe's and Home Depot for over 20 years. We have spent an extraordinary amount of money in both of these stores. We rarely need to make returns, but we just had a recent instance of having to return 5 bags of polymeric sand because we decided to have the job done by a contractor. I saved the receipt and my husband went to the store to return the sand. It was a VERY UNPLEASANT experience to learn that there is a 90 day window on returns (with receipt) and NO EXCEPTIONS ARE GRANTED FOR A RESELLABLE ITEM such as polymeric sand! Needless to say, we have made our LAST purchase at Lowes and I will be sharing this VERY NEGATIVE experience EVERYWHERE I can.

They said it's "checked before leaving," but when my installer came, several key parts were missing. When I spoke to Megan at the store, she said since 48 hours had passed, there's "nothing they can do." Seriously? I paid for a new product, not a half-empty box. Feels shady -- parts don't just disappear. Check your boxes before leaving this store!

I ended up picking up some plates and glasses and napkins for the evening. Staff here do a good job of keeping everything in order.

Marshalls, HomeGoods, Homesense, and TJ Maxx are establishments that provide value for your…read morepurchases. When retail business declines, these companies continue to flourish for a reason, they have an operation, where regardless of city, state, or socioeconomic difference, you can always expect to find quality items at discounted, and/or affordable pieces. Because of the aforementioned, I initially opt to not take a car through the store, knowing that when I do, I'll definitively purchase many more items than intended. Reason- there's always a treasure chest of great finds, and items you forgot you need, want to get, or the price is so reasonable, how could you not purchase the item you're drawn to. The Marshalls and HomeGoods store is divided into one space for the former and the latter. The store is maintained extremely well. The store is clean, add organized, which is often difficult because customers believe they have a sense of entitlement wherever they shop, and whatever they decide they don't want is not placed back where it was found, nor the way it was found (on a hanger, hanging from a display, in the correct aisle, shelf, department, etc.). The store is well lit and spacious. In Marshalls you can find clothes from toddlers to adults of any gender, jewelry, accessories, outerwear, workout essentials, confines, perfumes, shoes, luggage, hair care products and appliances, facial and skincare products, toys, collectibles, sports fan gear, and much more. In HomeGoods, there have seasonal and non-seasonable items well organized and displayed. There's aisles with each of the following, lamps, rugs, furniture, furniture accessories, framed artwork and photos, mirrors, pet supplies, clothes, and accessories, bedding, linens, pillows of all types, sheet sets, comforters, and duvet covers of all sizes, bath products, bath furniture, storage, and accessories. There's bath towels of all sizes, colors, and patterns, washcloths, hand towels, stationary, cleaning products for home and car, cards, gift wrap, bows, ribbons, gift bags, bag accessories, bedroom accessories, chairs, cookware, appliances, states, glassware, accent pieces, laundry items, storage containers, picture frames, cutting boards, tableware, stairwells, oven mitts, serving trays, kitchen utensils, step stools and ladders, teapots, coffee cups, barware, holiday items, books, desks, desk organizers, book ends, vases, accessories for children's and teens rooms, decorative decor from around the world from ceramic to glass to wood, food items, sauces, oils, sweeteners, spices, paperweights, dried fruit, decorative baskets, electronic and mobile phone accessories, beverages, gift cards, holiday outdoor display items, and the list goes on. If you walk out empty handed, it's an anomaly, and near impossible to do. The staff is friendly, helpful, and moves lines along at an expedited pace. Wonderful stores. Phenomenal brand stores that are constantly a pleasure to shop at!
