Best Buy Northlake is a Chain retailer with a large array of brand named electronics, computers, appliances and more. This area definitely held me down when I did an online order for a new laptop gift. I was in and out in less time than it took me to drive there. Very efficient and fast as well as I was impressed with the set up rigs for desktops in the computer area. Actually got me thinking about investing in a gaming or entertainment set up for a desktop in the future and not many best buys are doing that but this location has the right idea. Awesome locale. Helped me find exactly what I was looking for, made my shopping experience fun. I'm an engineer and am pretty picky about my electronics purchases. I've never had a bad experience at Best But and I especially love that their employees know their stuff. Great tech advise and good enough prices to steer me away from Amazon. I love Amazon but for larger tech purchases I'd rather deal face to face for the best product experience. Visit Best Buy in Tucker GA and get an amazing Hewlett-Packard Ink Jet Printer with instant ink attachment. You can save up to 50% percent on ink and you will never run out of ink as well. The staff is friendly, helpful, kind, and patient. They make shopping at Best Buy a pleasure. Ease and access to displays are a plus, ample space between aisles. Shop for your favorite brands a Best Buy.

It's in a plaza just off the highway, so there's enough parking and it's easy to get to. There's an employee at the door who can direct you to the section you need. There were probably ten customers in the store, so no issues with social distancing. The cellphones are separated into Android and Apple, with compatible accessories at the front of each section. Sprint and Verizon have designated tables. They have in-store pickup, curbside pickup, and device recycling (Yay to keeping the Earth clean). I was about thirty minutes early for my Geek Squad appointment but I only waited about ten minutes. Random info: Geek Squad services home appliances and car electronics. COVID Precautions One-way traffic: Enter through one door, exit through another. There's sanitizer and masks at the entrance, and each desk has hand sanitizer and plexi glass (and they seem to have a dedicated desk for every service). I was in and out pretty quickly, mostly because Apple makes troubleshooting as difficult as legally possible to force me to replace my two year old device.

We have used Castleberry's over the years, and it pains me to have to write this horrid, but true,…read morereview. I have overlooked their high prices in the past, telling myself 'but I'm supporting small business'. Not this small business. Not any longer. Today was the last straw. Our dishwasher had stopped washing dishes; it ran, but things were not coming out clean. The 'technician' who arrived was not courteous, polite or kind. I won't give his full name but it begins with an E. Still, I figured people have bad days, things happen in their life, OK. He wasn't Sonny Sunshine today, so what? After some time he said it was the motor that wasn't functioning well, so the water wasn't getting full force. "A new motor assembly is $170". As I tried to run through the numbers of whether it made sense to fix this one or buy new, he says "Oh NO, it's $350 FIXED, $170 is just for the part!". His tone was very rude, and I almost declined to have it fixed, but knew I'd pay a scathing service charge. So I decided to fix the dishwasher. He left. I should have heeded my gut warning to never have him or Castleberry's back in my home again. Ah, hindsight is 20/20... In fairness, I will say that the part did arrive quickly, and he returned in 2 days to install it. Which is where things went downhill... As he's getting things set up, he says he needs to turn off the breaker to the dishwasher to fix it. I inform him that the electrician who installed our new breaker panel hadn't labeled it yet. He *lost* it. "Are you kidding me?? Of course they didn't....now I have to go through them all and it will take longer.." He then LITERALLY fell back and laid down on the floor on his back with his arms at his side, complaining all the while. He then hauls himself up angrily and at this point I take a step back as I am physically afraid. My son stood nearby, watching, scared. I screamed at the kids to get out of the room - I almost sent them outside as I did become physically afraid for us. He was acting like a large, violent child. I offered to have him return another day after I could get the panel labeled. He did not hear, or understand, as he just yelled "If I pull this thing out and it's connected to power, I will get electrocuted, the power needs to be shut off!!" No sh#@, Sherlock, I am aware of that. And you clearly did not listen to me. Afraid though I was, he was escalating and I did not feel like being treated like this anymore. As he continued ranting, I informed him (in a loud voice) that I was sorry this situation was so upsetting to him, but it is not my problem, nor should he be yelling at me. I may have screamed back at him, as if he WAS a child, to do his job. (A wave of confidence and bravery had overtaken me and I was going with it). Something got through to him, because he got it together and calmed down after that. He was not nice, or courteous - he never was - but he was no longer yelling at me. The job was finished rather quickly, and we can only hope it works. And if it doesn't, honestly I wouldn't call these people back anyway. I want to call them or go into the store to report this travesty, but with the holiday weeks coming up that may prove difficult. If I get anymore response, I will update.

It took me awhile to find it, as I am not the expert. Interesting fact #1: I called a repair guy so I would not have to do something like search around in my crawlspace. It took me awhile to find what I was looking for, but after becoming filthy, I finally found it. Interesting fact #2: I was charged for the time it took me to locate the shutoff valve. The guy replaced the part that needed fixing (that part was fine), but he broke the actual button you press to get water. He didn't have the replacement with him, so he had to come back later in the day. Interesting fact #3: I had to leave work two times. I just wasn't very impressed with the customer service (lack thereof). I'd definitely call a different repair guy in the future and would not consider purchasing an appliance here. Just my two thoughts.

But we later learned that the "new" freezer we received had been manufactured three years earlier, and has been faulty since it was installed. The manufacturer has provided service under its warranty, so we are hoping that the current repair service will resolve the problems. In addition to selling us an old model freezer as new, SR ordered the wrong components to complete the installation of our units and delivered a broken component, all of which added months to the completion of our purchase experience. During that time, the company was unresponsive to our calls for help. SR has earned its poor reputation with customers, the Better Business Bureau, and even area appliance technicians. Today's technician guessed that SR was our supplier based on my brief description of our purchase experience. Avoid SR, and avoid unnecessary headaches.

Not only did they steer me in the right direction, they did so with great humor. I walked out of there with a good recommendation for where to find what I was looking for, and feeling lighter from the laughter of my encounter. I can only imagine how enjoyable purchasing an appliance from them would be. Maybe one day I'll find out!

When I called customer support, I was told the delivery vendor attempted delivery -- which was not true because I was home. Then I was told it would arrive the next day. It didn't. The following day, the vendor claimed the lobby door was locked. Again, not true, the lobby is not locked. I was once again promised delivery the next day, and once again, it never happened. After several calls, I spoke with someone in the escalation department who canceled the order and issued a gift card so I could place a new order. I explained that I urgently needed the item, and she told me my local store had six in stock available for pickup. I placed the order and waited for the pickup email, only to find out the item was actually being shipped to the store and would take another 3-8 days. When I called support again, I was told there was nothing they could do because the vendor had the order. I was even given a phone number for the vendor that did not work. Finally, I spoke with Corrina in the Leadership Specialty Ops department. She repeatedly said there was nothing she could do and refused to contact the local store to see if they could provide one of the items they supposedly had in stock. I've dealt with many companies over the years, and when customers experience problems like this, most businesses at least try to make it right. Unfortunately, that was not my experience with Home Depot. Because of this experience, I've decided I will no longer shop at Home Depot and will be taking my business to Lowe's instead. If you have a choice, I would strongly recommend avoiding Home Depot.
