On the way out two male employees were seated at a Help Desk type set up so I approached to discuss or get a last ditch bit of help- any help- but they were absorbed in their discussion that- with respect to the one named Devonte (or similar name on his Name Tag)- complete with a couple of choice curse words including the F-bomb so I left to shop elsewhere. The store remains open in August 2024. On 07/22/2024, I made an in-store purchase of a LG refrigerator that was displayed in their showroom, a water line, a 5-year warranty, a delivery fee and an installation fee, totaling $2160.70...I paid via credit card. Delivery and installation were to be on 07/27/2024. On 07/26/2024, the store called me and said the refrigerator was on back-order...I explained I bought a frig in the showroom...and they said I would need to drive to the store to sort it out. I drove to the store and spoke to Emrice B (identifying herself as a manager) ....and she told me the refrigerator had been shipped 3 hours north to Orlando, where it would then be shipped 4 hours south to Miami, and then shipped 1 hour north to my house. Emrice told me that the refrigerator had not been received in Orlando and they do not know here refrigerator is right now. I requested a full-refund of $2160. 70....and Emrice said she gave me full credit, and a printed document showing zero totals......and she said the $2160.70 would show up on my credit card in 3 days. I received only a credit of $2059.71 on my credit card. I still need a refund of $100.99 from the transaction. I have called the store two times and cannot get satisfaction. All I want is the remaining $100.99 still owed as a refund. read more

One of the worst shopping experiences I have experienced recently. I came in after the running some errands to purchase the Magic Mouse. You have to stand outside, wait in line, and give them a reason to come in. Once you do they say if you need help to come back to the front. Of course, I couldn't find the Magic Mouse. I go back up to the front and thr team member says she will put my name on a list for someone to help me. After 30 minutes of wandering around the store and no help, I go back to the front. The team member says someone should help me shortly. After waiting 20 more minutes, I walked out. Why would I give my money to a place that is not providing me customer service? I have always purchased my TVs from Best Buy. The latest purchase was a 55 inch Samsung July 3rd of this year, a little less than 5 months ago. The tv stopped working on October 23rd. I immediately contacted Best Buy Geek Squad for repair or replacement under my extended warranty which I paid at the time of purchase. Geek Squad technicians have been to my home three times since then and the tv is still not working. I just called and was informed that they had contacted Samsung for advice on correcting the problem. No estimate of when if ever this will be resolved and I will have the tv I purchased and paid for in July. I would recommend purchasing your next tv any where but here. read more

She took down my info, as I needed to have my data transferred to my new 27 inch HP, by Agent Alberto Vianna. He did a fabulous job, in moving all my data over, within 2 days. Best Buy kept me informed, by text, how things were coming along. In addition, Paige called me with updates. She was very amiable, courteous and told me the computer was completed. Today, I came in to pick up computer and I met Daniel. He took it out of the box, set it all up and proceeded to walk me through some of the newer features. He was a great guy and very helpful. Best Buy, you can be very proud of your Geek Squad Staff. They all exhibited super customer service skills, enjoyed their work, and represented Best Buy in 5 star fashion. Thanks so much. I have been in this store about a dozen times throughout the years. Each time has been ok, but I can never find an associate to help me. I am currently looking for a new TV. The one I currently have will be moving into my bedroom and my new one will be for my living room. I have been looking at the 50" Samsung and Cosco has it priced in the low 400's. Right now I am doing some comparison shopping/pricing between the Samsung and LG. Best Buy has some good prices but the service leaves a lot to be desired. Costco is winning in both price & customer support. I feel the sales people at this store are not the most knowledgeable crew. I am technically challenged so I need all the help I can get. Everyone has an opinion & I am open to suggestions. This store is one of the smaller stores but they have a nice selection of TV's. Let me start by saying, this is one of the few times that I beg to disagree with my fellow Yelpers. We came by today as we wanted to upgrade our present television and sound system. On arrival, we headed directly to the home theatre department and were immediately greeted by a very pleasant young gentleman named Rolando who just so happened to be the Samsung Expert (which worked out great as were only looking at Samsung televisions). Rolando was extremely knowledgeable and patient with us and showed us an array of different televisions and finally assisted us by finding our Samsung 75" Q80. He also suggested that we look at sound bars. After demoing several, he walked us over to his personal favorite, the Samsung- Harmon/Kardon collaboration, and we were absolutely blown away (figuratively and literally!). If anyone is looking to purchase a television, Rolando is your man! We also want to give a huge thank you to the General Manger, Ariel, who went out of his way to make sure we were pleased with our purchase. We bought a new laptop from the store, under their assurances their Geek Squad would be able to do a simple clone of the machine & transfer all data from one machine to the other. Zee duly signed the machine over - which I will add took over a week to arrive from the initial order - we we also sold a Geek Squad technical support policy to use at any time we needed IT support. Collecting the machine 3 days later, one mail account needed resetting - which took 3 minutes to do - 4 days later 2 outlook profiles, they take the machine reload it & redirect mails incorrectly- I collect the machine again today, am told it's all a duplicate of the old machine - tske a 30 second look & see 3 addresses missing. Long story short, the Geek Squad technician is off (again) & no one else can look at it so we wait another 2 days. The retail manager was polite enough to listen to my complete frustration but we are then left sitting for 15 mins before anyone comes back. We now have a refund, and gave taken the machine to a genuine technical support service provider and will collect the machine tomorrow morning. My advice - if you're looking for technical support or advice DO NOT use the Geek Squad. They are not equipped with technical know how nor are they adequately serviced with staff in order to support the clients they take on. Totally different story once the product arrive the driver claim it was corrosion and unable to install my product he was very rude inpatient and decide to not install my unit and left with the product! Call customer about the issue even worst!!! The guy Terrell was very rude and unprofessional kept putting me on hold picking up and placing the call back on hold! Best Buy is pretty awesome, but we had a disappointing experience here. This particular movie I wanted for my birthday was only available here or the Boynton Beach location according to their online inventory. I found it without a problem once we got here, but my mother-in-law who lives out-of-state had wanted to get it for me so she ordered it online for pickup. They had her order, but told us the item wasn't available. Really? Because I just had it in my hands, and my mother-in-law was obviously able to order it for pickup because the system sees it as in stock as well. Husband tried to get them to process the online order since my mother-in-law wanted to get it for me but the clerk made him wait for whatever reason alone at the counter for about ten minutes until he finally chased her down and told her, "Never mind. I'm just going to go purchase this myself." I'm not sure what happened on their end, but there was no explanation. One funny and puzzling example of their conversation is, Husband: "Did she order the DVD or the Blu-ray? Because you do have the Blu-ray here (showing them the disc)" Clerk: "Neither. I bought a TV but another person bought it for me and ordered it to be delivered to my house. I used to get deliveries in a day but they said it would take a week. All day long I've been waiting for the TV at first it was supposed to be here between 9 AM and 9 PM and then it was supposed to be here Between 7 AM and 7 PM and was supposed to be here between 2 and 6 PM. So when I called at 8 o'clock, they said that they called me but no one answered so they're not delivering my TV and now I have to wait till next week for it to be delivered, and asked to talk to a manager, which I was not allowed to. I told him that the person that ordered the TV for me is the phone number that you have. You never asked them for my phone number. You never specified that the phone number to the TV is going to be delivered to has to be a phone number that I will answer. So no one answered the call when they called another city, which was the ordering person's phone number. So because no one answered the phone when they called me, they decided not to deliver my TV at all and now I have to wait another week. Best Buy has gone downhill for a number of years, but this now takes the cake. So because I didn't answer the phone they're not gonna deliver my stuff? Because I'm in the kitchen and didn't hear the phone ringing they're not gonna deliver my TV? Because my baby is crying and I can't hear the phone, they're not gonna deliver my TV.? Did they specify to the person ordering my TV that they need a phone number for which the delivery will take place? The answer is no. This is completely ridiculous, stupid and the epitome of incompetence. I can't believe they won't deliver us $1000 order because I didn't answer the phone of which I didn't hear the phone ring because it's in a whole Nother city across the state. I think it's a big fat excuse for not doing their job. It doesn't make sense by the wildest stretch of imaginations. It is completely stupid and infuriating. I feel like canceling my order and ordering a TV from another company. Since I started doing business with Best Buy 20 some odd years ago they have consistently gone downhill. They charge me $200 to set up the TV beyond the $200 for a basically nonexistent protection plan. I used to love this company and now I can't stand them. Do not buy anything from Best Buy. Like any big-box corporation, I have nothing much to say about Best Buy other than I shop here semi-regularly and when I do I have little to no interaction with their staff because I'm usually in there buying an iTunes gift card or something like that. This time, however, I actually needed something- a mini SD card for my new GoPro. So I was in the area and an associate came over and asked if I needed anything. I asked her about the cards and she went over all the options, sizes and pretty much everything I needed to know about the card and whether or not it would work in my device. Then of course, asked if I needed anything else (I did not). I took a stroll around after and realized how much Best Buy has changed since I first remember going- there hardly any CD's there, they sell a ton of appliances, Apple products and a bunch of, "As Seen on TV" stuff. Really evolving I guess. Secretly I want one of those Dyson fans if anyone is interested in buying me one. Overall, I have no issues with this place. It's close to home, the staff is seemingly nice and the pretty much have everything I need/want. The Reward Zone program is a good way to earn rewards on dollars spent there and it's even better because it's free to join. read more

Ok so a little background; I have been longing for a kindle, reading, ebook, thingy for years. Clearly i didn't have a clue about it except the fact that i could read books on it with ease. After getting tips and advice from the one and only savanna, i figured out which one would be perfect for me and also the full actual name. My only problem...i hate ordering online. After taking a leap of faith (even though i felt i had heard somewhere that kindles are only available on amazon) i googled stores that sell kindles and to my joy, best buy was first in the short list. Walking in the store, there were lots of workers, busy with customers. I made my way over to the Kindle section and within seconds, an employee, Daquan, i believe his name was, approached us and offered his help. Being so wowed by actually seeing the Kindles in person, i let him know i needed a few minutes. I was happy to see that all the devices were hooked up and ready to be tested out. After falling in love with this little device, i looked over to where the employee was and he immediately came over. I asked him a few questions and he gave me some great tips and advice as well. He took less than a minutes to get the Kindle and walked us over to the register. He offered credit cards and warranties and so on without being pushy . When we made our way to the exit, the security checked our receipt and gave us a bag for my item. Again very friendly people. I loved being able to get in and out with NO hassle what so ever. Mind you we got there after 6pm with a pretty busy store. I was able to find and navigate easily to the section i was interested in, prices are practical and staff i dealt with were friendly and professional. I look forward to coming here again. :) and im VERY happy with my item. read more

I really don't like this Best Buy, but it's close to my house.... it's the only reason I come here versus going to any other location. It's one of the smallest stores they have, so the selection leaves something to be desired. But the real reason I'm not a fan: customer service here is just terrible. I haven't had any great experiences here, just sullen attitudes from staff. One instance sticks out in my mind. A little while back, I was looking for an XM radio for my car, and wanted to ask a few questions. The audio department was abandoned, with no one in sight. I walked over to the computers section to look for someone, but was only told that audio wasn't their section and they couldn't help me. They said they would call for someone to come over, but I waited for nearly 15 minutes and no one ever came. I went to other sections in search of help, but to no avail. We purchased TCL S625 series 6 yesterday. I was extremely excited to finally experience this amazing television. After arriving at home, opened box plugged it in.... Packaging seemed it was intruded upon prior... Plugged in... Entire top and sides broken felt like a stand in the heart. This is during Covid-19 protocol, so no one could enter store, plus they worked very short hours. I read return policy all night, only to find they do not accept broken screens at best buy....I was sick $600.00 down the drain... Next day, I calmed my self, prayed to the most high them called and spoke to a very pleasant representative. He listened to situation, then spoke with his store manager, who gave an immediate for us to return the tv...I WAS RELIEVED but still sceptical. Drove 37 minutes to the store, turned over receipt and television. Guy came back out 10 minutes later..with only receipt in hand.. He stated w/hat and face mask on "Would you like a refund or the same model again?" Had an apportionment to get a car stereo installed at this Best Buy was told to go to the geek squad department , the workers did not know where I was suppose to go! 1 worker that did know told me to go to the back of the store , get there, the guy in the back ( West Indian guy) gave me a bothered look with an attitude like he did not want to work at all and told me to reschedule instead given I was late because no one knew where I was suppose to go yet it's the same store same employees ???? , the installer then stated that he could install it later the same day but I needed to leave the car there for 1.5 or 2 hours and pick it up who knows when and he could do it only if the next customer did not arrive on time . He offered to reschedule then told me everything was booked when I checked online to reschedule "SURPRISE" there was availability all week early morning at the same store , but I guess he did not want to work this week ! Must be used to earning a paycheck for no reason ! No wonder this place does not have customers getting installations what a rude person I will be reporting this to corporate ! read more

There are a lot of choices and I just chose a regular Tower because I really don't do very much on my computer besides Facebook and Yelp. The store is very clean it was kind of empty because it was 10 o'clock in the morning but I had no problem and I purchased my tower within seconds.
