Upon entering, an employee greets you, asks what you are there for and pages someone to meet you at that area. An employee met me at the laptop section named Brian. He is with a Lenovo laptop. I wasn't interested with it, but he was able to help me with HP laptop. He gave me some informations to decide what to buy. Unfortunately, by the time I decided what to buy - they didn't have the laptop in stock so they sent me to a different location. The good part it was a nearby branch. It was a good visit. Was able to look the product up to see that the color I wanted was not in inventory. Customer service ZERO. I walked out and am unlikely to walk back in. I'm in the neighborhood and have made significant purchases at this location in the past, but the customer service is gone. I've been here a few other times and have never had a negative experience. This place is a typical size, but still has a car audio installation department. All of my visits here was to pick up an online order. Since most or all Best Buys these days are pretty empty, there wasn't a wait for me to pick up my orders. The whole process was pretty fast. Awful customer service. Called for service on my oven I got from them. Spencer came out said he couldn't truly diagnose the problem as there was insufficient power from the outlet, I needed an electrician first. Weird, but okay. Electrician comes, nothing wrong with the outlet, plenty of power. Electrician looks at the actual unit (Spencer did not do this) and finds the power cord burned through itself. Contact Best Buy for a refund on the service that wasn't provided since he never looked at the actual appliance (the issue was very clear had he bothered to look). Basically got told since he came out it's "Completed" and they still are charging me for him to come out and misdiagnose the issue. Even "Sean" the repair manager said no, charge stays. Unbelievable. Looks like customer loyalty and being a Total Member is meaningless, whatever to get my money. Asked for this Sean to call me, its been 2 weeks, apparently he can't be bothered. I bought a Hisense 100" t.v. and had the geek squad install and program it. The first time in a long time they did a terrible job. The t.v. was faulty after several months. I had to go with the Hisense warranty and they sent replacement parts for it. So that meant we had to dismount this beast. Each time you mount and dismount now with Best buy they have raised their price to $300 each time. The parts failed on the t.v. again and they sent a replacement t.v. and that t.v. failed, it wouldn't even come on. HISENSE is junk. The service is horrible and DON'T buy Hisense or from Best Buy. I'm sticking with Costco. You don't have these issues there. Best Buy has gone down the tubes with service. read more

I spent around 40 min with him answering all my questions, and I had a lot, but he was patient and answered all with grace and no judgment. Love coming to this location! They're always so helpful especially with some last minute shopping. My friends and I dropped by last weekend not realizing they closed in like 30 min but we didn't need that much time anyway. We just needed to pick up some Pokémon cards to open with our friends via FaceTime who were out of state so that we could all "hang out". The staff were all very friendly and it was basically empty. They have the cards set up behind the customer service counter so we were leaning over to see what they had till one of the workers let us go behind the counter to do our shopping. We picked out a few things and were out of there within 15 minutes. I usually always come here to get my new iPhone as well and always had great customer service when it came to purchasing and transferring data. I rarely leave negative reviews but my recent experience at Best Buy in Porter Ranch was disappointing enough that I felt compelled to share it. I visited the store to purchase a Kindle and a cover. An employee named Alex assisted me. The black cover was displayed with a price of $31, while the teal cover was displayed at $42. Alex informed me that the prices were reversed. The teal as $31 and black was $42, however he did not correct the display. I asked whether the black cover would be honored at the advertised price of $31 shown on the display, Alex stated no because the item scanned at $42 When I proceeded to check out I asked again for clarification. The cashier called Alex over and I was once again told the advertised price would not be honored. What made the situation even more frustrating was the sign displayed at the register stating "You are entitled to the lowest price advertised or posted price in this store" I pointed this out to Alex but he maintained that the lower price would only apply if the items barcode scanned at that amount. That condition was not stated anywhere on the sign. I expressed my concern that the incorrect pricing display should be corrected. FALSE ADVERTISING. As customers rely on advertised prices when making purchasing decisions, Unfortunately despite the misleading display and the posted store policy ,the lower advertised price was not honored, This experience left me feeling frustrated and undervalued as a customer. We have had 2 visits to the store within a week of each other to make a large purchase a new 75inch TV plus a sound bar. First off it would seem there is not a lot of staff and the ones that are working know nothing about what they are selling! 35 minutes later we left very annoyed. Yesterday we decided to go back one member of staff said they would get some one to help us 20 minutes later having looked around ourselves still no one came to help us so we walked out.! I've had terrible service in Atwater Village, Burbank; finally I have something positive to say about this Best Buy in Porter Ranch. The greeter/loss prevention man was able to point me in the right direction. I had questions about headphones and he was able to give me price checks. He was friendly and also told me it was a great deal. I also was told it was a great deal by the cashier. I had bought a open box item and was able to open the box as well and see what was in it and quality of the product. 10 days ago I bought the Beats Solo 3 for 98.00 and the sound quality is basic. It feels like my ears are being squashed and I don't recommend this product. They are valued at 250-300.00 in other locations. I'm keeping them but I don't plan on wearing them for hours. Suddenly, it stopped printing correctly and I had tried everything (I thought) myself, went online to Epson, called Epson, emailed Epson and even thought of bringing the printer to a repair shop. After all that, I took it to Geek Squad at Porter Ranch where, Sam, the amazing and wonderful tech person, figured out the problem after spending a lot of time with me and my printer without giving up. They were absolutely skilled and efficient and my printer is all fixed! I won't go into all that was wrong, but Sam totally fixed the problem. I am forever grateful. read more

I came to this Best Buy location on my way back home from work to look for a CR123 battery today. They of course only had the multi pack instead of the single battery so I decided not to get it. The store looks very organize and I only interact with the person watching the entrance and exit sign. He was polite and greeted me when I walked inside. The battery was easy to find if you just look at the signs since they label each area. There a lot of parking here so there'll never be an issue unless on like Black Friday. They also had a sign on the entrance about mask so just be aware of that. I wore mine throughout the store which isn't an issue for me. read more

My husband and I were looking for a refrigerator to replace our Whirlpool refrigerator that had the compressor go out. We received excellent service in the store and even delivery. The appliance dept was very helpful and looked up various options for us and found a Frigidaire refrigerator that was available for delivery on Aug. 30, 2023. All the other refrigerators could not be delivered until Sept. 11, 2023--which was too long. We ordered the Frigidaire refrigerator. Fernando, the delivery person was prompt and showed up on Aug. 30, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. in the morning. He did a great job, removing the old refrigerator and installing the new Frigidaire refrigerator. Fernando checked to make sure the new refrigerator was operating properly. Best Buy in Porter Ranch gave my husband and I excellent service. read more
