We tried to get the price match at Best Buy in Cypress but was told we purchased from a third party vendor. We bought from Best Buy website and the receipt has Best Buy. I purchased the Apple Watch to arrive on Sept 19th. i was told I had to call the store number to order it. You could not go to the store on the 19th to purchase it. It arrived on the 19th as stated, however, it was the wrong size, even though the order clearly showed the right size. Then the nightmare began. I paid for this watch on Sept 16th. I still have no watch !!! I was told by the store mgr at the woodlands that since I called the store to order, which is what they told me I had to do, I had to go back home and call the number to the store, which takes you to a call center, Good luck with the long wait and then people you struggle to understand, who are rude and also hang up on you. We ordered a washer dryer and the two sidekicks for the set (two small things that go under each unit. One is a small washer and one is storage). The washer came in one order, the smaller washer came later in a 2nd delivery where THEY SCRATCHED OUR BRAND NEW WASHER! The small storage thing never showed up. We've been on the phone trying to resolve it with ppl who don't know what these items even are. We went into the store where Tyler sent an email but nothing came from that either. We call back and get hung up on bc when you call the store it doesn't even go to the store it goes to some call center where we repeated the whole story about 3 times. Nothing has been resolved. I never received the correct amount of points (they gave me 5% in certificates that expired). I have reached out to customer service dozens of times over several months with no progress. Calls were dropped on a regular basis. I was promised by everyone that they would call me back in case of a dropped call and nobody did that. I have been lied to respeatedly! My rating is for the customer service line. Not the store in the woodlands directly. The customer service line is not efficient or helpful. I was told there was no way to reach the store in the Woodlands Texas directly. That's bad business. I was disappointed to learn I could not speak to the sales rep via the phone at the actual store. If I wanted to do that, I would have to actually go into the store. I called the customer service line back, got a different representative, who again was very nice but, not very helpful. I had questions about appliance purchases, warranties and pricing for their 3 and 5 yrs plans and what they covered. She fumbled through what seemed like her computer, trying to find the answers. We also had a bad connection on the phone which didn't help. It was just again, really bad customer service. When she did finally find what I had asked for, it was like she was just reading from a script and wasn't confident in what she was reading. It was like she really didn't know what she was saying other than she was just reading a script. Customer service here is poor. Many customer reps standing around and I had to ask for assistance to purchase a microwave. My Rep went in the back a brought out the microwave on a cart an took my payment and sent me ifc with the cart to load the microwave in the car myself. I asked him if it was heavy and he said no, you can handle it. Really? This is your job and it's not even busy in the store. Luckily I'm a healthy and capable 60 yr old woman and put it in the car. I take the cart in and ask at the door where they go. I started this the actual day we were there. We just had the BEST customer service we've had this entire Christmas season. I wish I had names to provide but maybe my description of them will alert management of two gems they currently employ. I had a return so I headed to the service line where a gentleman was already waiting. After several minutes I saw him looking around. I asked if he knew if anyone was working the counter. He said there was someone earlier but she had walked away with a customer and he hadn't seen her since. I commented how "there is no customer SERVICE" to which he agreed. A little while later a young woman came over as she repeatedly apologized for the wait. hmmm that was NICE. When it was my turn she again apologized for the wait. (By now I'm feeling bad for saying what I said). She issued my refund and I went on my way. I headed to cameras to find my husband who was being helped by an associate. We found what we needed and proceeded to the registers. There was a line but it is Christmas, so we pulled out our patience, and waited. A few minutes later a young lady motioned us over as she opened another register and thanked us for our patience. She asked if we are reward members and to enter our telephone number. She thanked us for our business and gave us a total. As we prepared to pay, the card reader solicited for a donation to St. Jude's, to which we selected our donation amount. The young lady noticed and thanked us for the donation. Again, very politely, thanked us for our patience and wished us a good afternoon. She was so polite that even my husband noticed. I must say that at a minimum, to acknowledge the wait goes a long way. I was wrong, these two young women proved to me that service is important to each of them and for that I thank them. Worst Buy is more like it. Do not buy Best Buy's Insignia TVs. They don't last and the service sucks. I have a horizontal line across the TV before the one year mark. Trying to get ahold of someone sucks. I went to the store and they could not help me as it was over 42" and I was 4 days past the purchase date, although it was delivered several days later. I call and get transferred to Insignia who was gracious enough to cover it. I get scheduled and the tech decides to cancel. I call to see what is up and the tech saw past 1 year and no ext warranty, so cancelled! I tried to reschedule, got disconnected, next transferred to the call due to start over, then transferred to Whirlpool! So I needed to get a simple affordable computer for just working on schoolwork. I wasn't looking for anything extravagant with tons of memory, so I went with a $160 HP Chromebook. I placed an online order for curb side pickup, but when I arrived they had no idea where it was and offered a replacement with no charger, missing keys, and labeled as "fair." I politely declined, and asked to see other options. I was directed to the PC guys from curbside, to a gentleman with a Geek Squad officer badge. Lmao. I'm so sorry I didn't get his name, because people deserve to be warned about an employee like him. He had a mullet and a beard. When he showed me a couple different available options, he mentioned that they were much more sluggish than my original purchase, so I declined that as well, and explained my frustration with the fact that they had no clue where my original purchase was. His response was, "well, these are what's currently available and with the price you spent, you get what you pay for." He proceeded to ramble about the possibilities of what could have happened with my purchase, and I had to cut him off, because who wants to listen to excuses of what might've happened. Who cares .. I was brought back over to curb side, and Kirk helped me, and was so kind. All in all, the issue was resolved, but my biggest issue was the sarcasm from your Geek Squad "officer." I bought a washing machine four years ago. I also purchased a five-year extended warranty. It is an LG. The pump has been replaced twice so far. It went out of third time and they informed me that it was being declared a lemon and I would need to pick out a new washing machine. Approximately a week ago, I placed the order for the new machine. It was originally supposed to be delivered on Tuesday. On Monday I realized that they somehow had my work address, which I have never used for anything except for possibly the delivery of an extension cord about three years ago. Since then, I have had a dryer delivered to my home as well as three service calls on the washer. I called to ask them about address issue and they informed me they would have to reschedule my delivery and now my machine would be delivered on Wednesday instead. I woke up this morning. Did all of the steps for preparation and realized I hadn't gotten a call about time. Best Buy has a 12 hour window from 7 AM to 7 PM. I called to check on the time of delivery so that I could have someone come over and sit here while I went and picked up my daughter if it was going to be during Her pick up time from school. I was informed that the delivery had not been rescheduled. They have charged me at this point and the price has been over a week. Now the new machine will not be here until Friday. I asked about financial compensation for all of the inconvenience and we and the amount of money that I have spent going to laundry room, etc., and the interim. I was told they won't even make an offer until after they pick up the machine. Another words they don't want people canceling the order so they tell you to wait until after and I'm assuming after the machine is here and I've taken delivery of it they'll tell me, they won't do anything about it. Take your business elsewhere. It was impossible in the interim with all these issues to find anyone who is a native English speaker which accounts for a lot of the issues that have occurred with the orders. There were also typos in our home address for the delivery, despite them having address and their system for the delivery of a dryer as well as multiple service calls. read more

I just wanted to take a moment to give a shoutout to Marlon. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful when it came to finding some new speakers for my vehicle. He took the time to help me and answered questions. He had great customer service and didn't try to upsell me or sell me something that i wouldn't need. He is a great asset to the store and went out of his way to find an installation time that worked with my schedule. Unfortunately geek squad was pretty full, but that was ok. Now the reason why I'm giving only 3 stars is because while Marlon was checking on something for me I encountered 2 gentlemen from geek squad working on some of the speakers. The gentleman asked me what I was looking for and told him and he proceeded to say my choice was a bad choice, and showed me the speakers 3x the price of the ones I was looking at. I advised him what my needs were and that I was happy with my choice and Marlon was checking for an installation opening. The geek squad gentleman then very rudely said he would not have time and they had other projects to work on. It was early afternoon. After returning to the counter I spoke with Marlon and he apologized because they guys were put on a different task. I told him I appreciated his help, but was glad they didn't have an appointment because the geek squad gentleman was overly rude and cocky. His attitude wasn't appreciated. In the 90s the local Best Buy used to be the equivalent of a warehouse where you went to the right for large appliances, down the center for computers/computer accessories/vidya, and left for music and music accessories. Today the Best Buy (my first time in one of these stores in a long time) seems to be trying to model themselves confusingly-exactly like Apple Stores with long sleek bench tables, all the highest techy gear out on display, and no useful signs about where stuff is. I found memory cards type stuff in three completely different parts of the store. What a long strange trip just to get a USB stick so I could take a large powerpoint off of my home computer with me to a church I am giving a free educational community lecture at because I am such a mensch educating working class families about their legal rights and responsibilities. (File too big to send through the e-mail. I prayed real hard about it, taking my cues from the father in the film Frailty. File was still too big to send so I ultimately still needed the USB stick to transfer the .ppt to the church.) When amazon drones can actually deliver stuff to you in an hour (and not rocket launch propel the package through your chimney, destroying at least a few different things in one fell swoop) stores like this will cease to exist since we will have other options than putting on pants and driving out to the store. read more

This is the second time that I've upgraded my phone here and both times I've had good experiences. The last time was 3 years ago so I don't remember the employee's name but I remember that I got a FREE 20 in. Samsung flatscreen TV when I upgraded my Galaxy. They definitely don't give you any kind of good deals like that if you go to the Sprint store.(Which just so happens to be in the same shopping center.) So this year again, I go to the Sprint store first. No good deals. I go to Best Buy and Jordan was very nice, knowledgeable and helpful. I got a Galaxy 8 note for $15/mo for 24 mo. So $360 and I actually OWN the phone. It's not a lease. I don't like swapping phones out every single yr. so this is perfect bc they can upgrade your plan with whatever carrier you have but they usually have better deals than the Sprint store. I also dropped the Sprint insurance and got the Best Buy one instead bc it's actually better. If you need a new phone come to Best Buy and ask for Jordan, he's been working there for 5 years so he knows his stuff and he's good at explaining things. read more
