The story really starts in March of last year when AT&T got me to switch away from analog. If I hadn't agreed to that the rest of the preceding nightmare may have never happened! AT&T told me they were switching all customers to digital and soon they would not be able to support analog. I have had the same phone number and have been loyal to AT&T for 40 years now. We started to have problems with our phones as soon as we switched to digital. On April 15th, we lost our internet (and our phones because they are now attached to our internet). We contacted AT&T. They sent out a technician. A few days later he arrived. He tried to solve the problem. Although at first he didn't know what it was. He had to call AT&T. During the entire process we have had to call AT&T many times, about 3 times per week This is a minimum of an hour and a half call. They put you on hold when you finally get in touch with someone, they are not able to help because they don't know what they are doing, then they put you on hold forever to try to find someone who actually knows something. After the first few calls I realized I did not have the time, patience, or energy to stay on hold forever while they tried to find the only person there who knows anything about phones. So I wound up paying my manager to wait on hold. The technician finally told me they cut our copper line because they were old and they were fazing those out. They 're switching everyone to fiber. However, fiber was not available in our area. They cut off our phones and internet without any notice, warning and with no back up plan in place. Businesses are heavily reliant on phones and internet. 60% of our business comes in through those 2 ways. The majority of our business is in catering. If we don't answer our phone, our client simply calls another restaurant who does answer their phone. In addition we have all our email orders and our tablet sales. Door Dash, Uber, Chow Now, Grub Hub, and Slice account for about $200- $300 a day in additional revenue that we were missing out on. Total time without internet 30 days x $200 per day = $ 6000 Finally, our technician came up with a solution. On April 25th, our utilities were out 11 days on the first part of this debacle. They were able to pull in a fiber line from a business across the street, route it through our above ground lines and bring it into the building finally bringing our phones and internet back. Without internet we can not batch our credit cards. All our credit card sales had to run "offline" without internet they do not preauthorize. It took 11 days to get our credit cards into the bank. 95% of guests pay with credit. So we were unable to get any money into the bank for 11 days during the first time. AT&T continued to charge us for the entire time that they turned off our service, creating a very stressful situation. It took them 11 days to be able to restore after much complaining and calling 3 times a week. But because the fiber came from across the street the bills had a different address. It was 17425 North Freeway. When we were finally able to batch, we found out $ 830.13 did not go through, because they did not authorize. But then, on July 8th We lost our fiber line attached to the business across the street that was providing us with internet and phones. Again, we call AT&T and this time we get a guy that was apathetic and didn't understand the urgency of the situation. He told us eventually they would have to dig 450 feet of fiber under the street, which could take weeks. So we waited, and we called. Finally, I went to Comcast. Comcast was able to provide us internet and phones.. We bought a cheap cell phone asked to get our main number (281)580-7797 forwarded to that phone so we could receive phone calls because our customers could get in touch with us. On July 31st we were finally able to batch our credit cards from the entire month of July. We went 3 and half weeks without internet. When we batched after 3.5 weeks (again we were offline and our transactions were not pre authorized) When we did finally batch $1501. 04 of credit cards did not go through. We went a whole month with hardly any money going into our bank account. We could not pay our rent, could not pay our staff, nor pay for groceries. Because all our transactions batched at once On July 31st some of our customers that dined with us during that month noticed on their statements that they did not dine with us on July 31st, so as of now, 2 of them have disputed their charges and the credit card company just simply took their money straight out of our bank account. We had to send emails to our landlord letting them know we could not pay rent and asking for a temporary rent discount or an extension. After we received internet and phones from Comcast we reached out to AT&T to ask them to port our phone number over to Comcast since AT&T was unwilling to provide phones or internet for us. read more

Don't sign up with AT&T. They are crooks. They will try to steal your money and you can't get a hold of anyone.

Don't fall for AT&T's false advertisin. They made it sound like for only $158 you can have 4 new iPhones and 2 we're switching from Verizon and 4 months later and 3 visits to store plus 6 calls to AT&T and hours on the phone we've paid $1200 in monthly bills of connection fees, no one creating an invoice when we returned our phones by mail per instructions and received emails saying they were in good condition you are set to go we are still getting billed for no returns. I believe it's AT&T's unethical way of getting you to actually pay for the phones and getting people to switch they NEVER informed us of all the fees and they can delay credits for 3 months. RUN as fast as you can from this company!! read more

Love this AT&T location! Came in for an upgrade first thing in the morning and was immediately assisted by Store manager and associate. Quick and easy they helped me transfer all my stuff onto my new advice and informed me of their promotions as well. This is my second time upgrading at this location with a great experience. If they don't have the specific phone with color and storage they will have it ordered and sent directly to you. I was paying more at T-Mobile previously before switching over and I get more value with AT&T bundled with internet and my phone. I always recommend this location to friends and family! read more

Wow! This was the best experience by far at an AT&T store, and I have to thank store employee Derek for his outstanding customer service. I hesitantly went to the mall to purchase our new smart watches and grumbled with my husband that I did not want to deal with AT&T because of the bad experiences we've had in the past at other locations. As soon as we walked into this location, Derek approached us and immediately asked us how he could help. Within five minutes, he hadhad us sitting at the table, had our account opened and was helping us finalize our purchase. He was very patient and made it a point to explain everything, and answer questions. I can tell you, I was very pleased. Additionally, he helped me with some technical issues I had hooking up my watch to my phone line. I purchased the watch, and had it delivered and could not correct the connection. On November 8th 2023 we went to an AT&T store inside the Woodlands mall and hired several services. We hired: AT&T internet (300 Mb), two wireless lines and the Direct TV. We have encountered several issues with this provider that I want to share. They promised us a gift card of $400 due to hiring all three services with the same provider as a form of promotion. That gift card was supposed to have a delay of 30 days to be delivered. This did not happen, therefore, we went back to the store to ask. At the store, they told us that the gift card may delay a total of 60 days. We waited for that days to pass, but still nothing was received. The last time we went back to the store the message was that suddenly we were not elected for that gift card anymore with no further explanation. The promotion was a lie offered by the manager of the Store (Jordan). At the day of the service purchased we were re-assured that the Direct TV service can be cancelled at any time with NO cancellation fee. That was one of the reasons that we decided to purchase it in the first place. Once time went by, we decided we didn't want the Direct TV service anymore (January 20, 2024). Before calling to cancel the service, we have talked on the store with the manager (Jordan) and he assure us that nothing was going to be charged. Once we did the cancelling, an automatic charged appeared on our credit card of $470 dollars. We have raised this concerned on the store again and the manager called someone at Direct TV and assure us that the charge was going to be waived/fixed, but this never happened. We have been going back and forth since, having NO resolution and different messages every time. It has been a very time-consuming issue. We have invested a lot of time calling the store, writing messages and going physically (I have been there at least 15 times) to get a response and a resolution. There were times where they told us to expect a call, but there was no call at all. Therefore, the only option left for us was to go several times to the store to talk about this in person. The last comment was that they have done everything possible to escalate this issue (Feb 7). Jordan told us that his boss was going to contact us, which never happened (Steven Pointer). Who should be responsible now? We are talking about paying a charge that was not supposed to come through plus all the other gift card promises they gave us at the beginning. If we have known this before, we should have chosen a different provider and or hiring less services. We have also submitted a claim on "Prime Communications" website. We received an email on Feb 9, asking for further information but as of today we have still not received any response back. Also, we have called the contact person with no success. Is anyone going to take responsibility and help us out? Or all of you will have the same approach as the Manager (Jordan) to ignore us. I went in to ATT because my phone was having an issue reading my SIM card, I asked for a replacement SIM card but was told I qualified for an upgrade and could get a new phone without paying anything. I double checked, new phone, no change to my bill and they assured me that was correct. I purchased a new case, screen cover and left happy. 2 weeks later I receive a letter from ATT, welcoming me to the protect advantage, and informing me that I've been enrolled for cable and internet. I was baffled. After spending 2 hrs on the phone with ATT I was informed my bill had increased by 40%. My "free upgrade" was not free it was 72 month installments, my phone plan had been completely redone, and I was signed up for a protection plan. Wow, I have never been lied to so much. I didn't ask or sign off on any changes to my account. I am infuriated and would recommend everyone stay clear of the store. They lied, cheated, and literally stole from me all under the guise of helping. read more

AT&T is unreliable and inconvenient. My modem got messed up due to a storm in The Woodlands last night. I called customer service and they tell me my modem isn't working and they need to replace it. They tell me it would take 3-4 days in order to ship out a new modem. Lol. I try to find another solution because I am a graphic designer and web designer and I work with a lot of contacts on my computer and Internet is ESSENTIAL. I ask where can I get a modem TODAY so I can continue my work. She proceeds to tell me that I can pick one up from an AT&T store. That night I search for an AT&T store that carries modems. I call several locations and they tell me this one location has modems. I arrive too late, so I wait until the next day. I contact customer support chat and I tell them I need a U-Verse DSL Modem specifically and I need one today, where can I go. The agent makes me an appointment at this AT&T location. Cool. Go to this location and the guy there tells me no we don't carry modems in store. You can buy a modem but it needs to say U-Verse in it. Catch is no technology store has those modems . I know because I tried! Overall, this has been a shit experience with each service rep having their own idea of where the modems are! I cannot wait until I move and no longer have to be at the mercy of this company. If AT&T customers cannot use their own modem, they should have back up modems in store for their customers. read more

I went in to store on Dec4th to buy my wife a new phone. I HAVE unlimited data on 8 different devices and I while trying to "help" they somehow switched me off unlimited data which I had warned always seems to screw up and do not mess up my plan.I immediately started receiving texts saying I have used all my data and will be billed for additional data. I called the store as well as customer loyalty and was assured not to worry all would be corrected. 4 STORE VISITS and at least 6-7 customer support calls over 3 weeks I finally stopped receiving the overage messages they all told me to disregard and they would resolve. It is now days short of 2 months LATER an additional 5-6 phone calls and they still have not credited January overages off my bill. Terrible customer service! I was told that my screen protector would have a lifetime warranty. I specifically asked if it was an in store warranty , as I do not like having to ship products back via mail. The salesman confirmed that it was to be handled in store. Today I tried to make a warranty claim on my purchase, and the manager told me that I would have to ship it back through Puregear. The manager and her staff were unwilling to help me even though I was apparently given false information on my original purchase. At the end of the day I understand that there are policies in place, however I fully expect to be taken care of when I am quoted false information. read more

Beware if you are purchasing a Prepaid phone. I purchased an iPhone 7 from the Humble location and and iPhone 7 from this location a week apart. The Humble location phone was $40 cheaper than this location. This store owner has a policy that they do not sell phones outright without a plan. So even though I had a number (and have been a customer for years), they charged me a "new phone line" fee without a new phone line. Other locations do not have this policy, so definitely ask around before you purchase! They also charge a $45 restocking fee for returns within 2 week and the Humble store doesn't charge anything for return within 2 weeks (unopened in box). read more

omg, this is not for this store in particular but att in general worse company i have ever done business with wow, from day one to now, 30 days later still not able to get to the bottom of anything, from agreed prices by phone to a completely different bill, from installation guys from date agreed upon to now wanting to cancel, i have been on the phone over 2 hours and i can't seem to be able to talk to the correct party to cancel my services wow, talk about the very worst company i have ever done business with wow, never do business with this people, never, you will be extremily disapointed, wow, still waiting and they keep saying they are too busy,, now they are recommending i drive to a store to cancel my services, i dont care to do that since i know what i cn expect and i will lose ever little bit of my patience and it will no be good. not sure how a company with this type of customer service can still be in business. maybe they stay in business with cancellation fees from everysinge unsatisfied customer wow the worse ever in every way read more
