When I got home and 1/2 my apps would not open because I was given 128 gb of memory on the upgrade, but the rep said I was getting 256 gb!! I have to go back to the store!! read more

Yesterday 5-6 employees ganged up around me unprompted while one was attempting to 'help' me, to run me off for coming in to get the transfer code to my account, an account my elderly mother "owns" but I am "account manager" on I was spoken to in an absolutely degrading way by one employee in particular who was denying that I am manager of the account he refused to allow me to offer any proof or contact the owner for confirmation that I am and have always been manager of the account. I myself alone have made all changes in the past 6 of our 9 years of service most of which I made in this very location from purchasing phones and adding new lines to signing additional 2 year contracts for the account. Never have I had any issues or been told I did not have account managers access until yesterday. He told me "you have no account with us you are not a customer here and have no business being in this store" he stated this loudly in the middle of the store whilst a group of the employees towered over me not allowing me to speak or provide any information absolutely refusing to help me. They even went as far as to claim that my mother removed my access which is not true as she's the one who sent me to deal with it BECAUSE she made me the account manager years ago and doesn't like dealing with it. I was not even in the store 5 minutes before I left feeling like the employees surrounding me were going to tackle me to the floor over trying to access my account that I should and always have had access to. Also the guy originally helping me lied to me upon me asking for what I needed stating "we can't give you that code you have to do it yourself" and by the end of the terrible interaction from Verizon jump street he said "the owner of the account will need to come in in person so you'll have to get 'YOUR MOM' and have her come in 'IN PERSON' to get the code" the very code I was told from the beginning could not be provided. On the account I should have access to being that I always have and I pay it. I've purchased phones financed, signed contracts, added lines, all in this store with my info as account manager never once having an issue but the day I say we're leaving and need to transfer our numbers I suddenly have no access. An apology wouldn't even be enough to redeem how bad things went in less than 5 minutes. I'll be getting the code today at another location who clearly can see I am the account manager and never has issues giving me the access that was added in your very store. Then instead of returning in one month as planned we will be staying with the new service provider we were testing. As it's been made abundantly clear that Verizon employees will only treat you well when you are purchasing a new phone but if you're leaving for any reason they will make it impossible and treat you like trash. The rest of our family on Verizon plans is switching today as well, as they don't condone the way your employees ganged up on a small woman who was genuinely confused to suddenly hear her access to an account she pays for is denied when the last time I was in I added a phone and line and signed a 2 year contract. Verizon also lied to my mother on multiple occasions saying there was no senior discount when there is. Which I feel should be refunded for the past 3 years she qualified since we asked about it then and were lied to. All in all I'm thankful your employees showed their faces like that because we will be paying less for more with the new service even with unlimited 5g data with no capping or throttling, 25gb hotspot per line, and unlimited 5g home wifi added it's still less than we were paying for just 3 lines with throttled 4g and only 4gb of hot spot per line. You can thank the tall white guy with brown hair and a bad ego for your loss on 20 lines total from our family. If he'd not informed me that I wasn't a customer and had no right to be in your store multiple times we probably would've been stupid enough to come back in 1 month and have our family continue using your service. Thanks to that guy for saving us all thousands each year. EDIT TO UPDATE: Upon going to another location I was informed in fact there is no way for the store to generate this code and instead they helped find why it wasn't allowing me to log in via my device as usual and gave me the full instructions written down to retrieve the code on my computer. So why on earth did this awful interaction even happen? Why could your employees not simply provide the information needed? It all has to be done on my end, weather they want to claim I'm not the account manager or not shouldn't have even mattered to help in this situation. And why did they insist on attacking me and saying to have my mother go out of her way to come in in person for them to not be able to even give her this code?! The worst customer service I have had in quite some time. The young lady never looked at me the whole time I was trying to get her to help me with my account. The manager did not take any notice until I got so fed up with her total disregard of my concerns I started packing up my things to go and I let her know I thought she was absolutely useless. Then and only then did he step in and tell me I needed to calm down and to be nice to the Useless individual that was helping me, I then proceeded to tell him no I did not because Poor customer service was just Poor customer service. This woman wasted 2 hours of my life that I will never get back and the manager should take a little constructive criticism to improve his helps understanding of good customer service. I accomplished nothing of what I went into their establishment for and was rudely treated, so why do they expect anything but to be rudely treated back, and hey I did not use even one cuss word. Unless Useless is now considered a cuss word. I have received excellent service from this facility in the past. Well I guess the past is the past and the present is Useless. I did not complain about the 3 customers that were put ahead of me. I have been a Verizon customer since the 90s (going back into local entities they snatched up into their acquisitive gaping maw over time) since my first cell phone which had the cutting edge feature (and bug) at the time of being able to make a phone call on the go, and the business has never before tried hard to impress with their customer service since they consider themselves the corporate equivalent of a drug dealer and as Heylia "yaaas kween" James informed scumbag Nancy in season one of the fabulous teevee series Weeds: "drugs sell themselves, biscuit." So a recent experience here in this store with Otto really hit the reset button on my thoughts of Verizon. As we walked in the front door of the shop Otto was right there, called out a hullo, pulled out his Verizon worker e-pad, asked us why we were there, and started helping us immediately - no wait for service, in a prime location in The Woodlands next to the mall, and on a weekend. I did not know that kind of thing was possible these days. We had several things to do on a Verizon account, relating to my dad's recent death, so Otto offered a completely professional 'sorry about your loss' (which so many people seem incapable of doing correctly) after hearing why we were in there to make some changes and then started walking us through everything we needed to do before anything got signed in delicious virgin's blood on the devil's indecorous parchment and then we did the paperwork and such. Otto provided fantastic customer service by explaining things patiently, giving us all of the options to consider, making recommendations about what was necessary and what was not, and really just helping to get things done right there in the store. He went above and beyond by calling the customer service processing whatever number right there in the store with us standing there and getting it all done, rather than sending us home to figure it out on our own. When someone dies (especially when it is unexpectedly/sudden so they never had the opportunity to wind things up on their own terms as people that get a bad diagnosis and have months or years of planning to get things done their way with the appreciation that their end date is certain) there are a lot of things you need to do to notify institutions, close accounts, transfer things, attempt to use the Whataburger on Shepherd's drive-thru staff as your someone to talk to ("ma'am as I explained at the order box I am not ordering anything I just needed someone to talk to,") etc. Few businesses make the process easy, and many just try to increase your misery in every single possible way as if you did not already have enough problems from losing someone you were close with, the horrors (and surprise [!] expenses) of the American death industry's funereal process, and having to recognize your kids will never meet the person and will only ever hear stories about them. So the experience with Verizon was quite a surprise how smoothly it went in spite of all of that. Otto's excellent customer service was greatly appreciated to shepherd us through this aspect of estate related stuff that had to be done so I hope someone at Verizon gives him a gold star, he definitely earned it. If I was you and needed to visit a Verizon store somewhere in the Greater Houston-area I would go to this location and ask for Otto. read more

I came to this store to add and remove devices from my account. The manager was quick to say "we are more then happy to help you add, but we can't remove devices." Of corse they want you to buy more. On top of that they make you wait for over an hour and won't let you use the restroom. So if I leave to use the rest room and my turn in que is skipped because I was not present. What kind of customer service is that. I do maintenance on the buildings these retailers use. The phones and expensive devices are always in a separate room that has a pin or access key to enter, why can't a customer use the restroom? Are you all afraid to clean the restroom after customers. This has been my local Verizon store for many years. I came in a couple of times over the Christmas holidays to upgrade a phone and get a phone fixed, but they were packed and the wait was long. So I decided to come back. I came in the day after Christmas, they were full of customers on a long wait again, but I decided to wait this time. I was in the area running some errands and decided to just pay my bill at the store. At first when you walk in it's a little overwhelming because it's a pretty large store and set up almost like a bank with a little teller desk and everything. I was greeted IMMEDIATELY by a very friendly male employee who didn't grimace or bat an eyelash when I told him that I was just there to pay my bill. Big smile, led me to the payment kiosk, and happily did the whole transaction for me even though it was set up to be more of a self-service kind of thing. He asked how I was liking my service (which, by the way, I'm VERY happy with) and made what is normally a semi-annoying task actually quite pleasant. I can't say that I normally leave a business feeling THAT impressed by customer service but this Verizon store definitely goes the extra mile. As far as the location goes, it's just outside of The Woodlands Mall and directly across the street from Target on Lake Woodlands Drive. Very clean and appeared to have a nice selection of phones and accessories. I was there on a Saturday and didn't see anyone waiting around. I used to have Sprint and *dreaded* situations that required going to the actual stores because that always meant a long waiting period no matter what the situation was...unless I was there to buy a new phone. -_- Overall, this location has awesome customer service and even though there are locations closer to where I live I'll definitely go here in the future for accessories, etc because places like this that treat their customers so well deserve the patronage. :) read more

VERY disappointed by this Verizon location. I've been three separate times in the last month to try and get the new iPhone 13 pro to no avail. The first time was before Christmas and there were no iPhone 13's in stock as well as a 30min wait. The second time we waited an hour before deciding to come back the next day. And then today we went in but there was a line inside the door with nobody greeting or explaining what was going on. I'm now going over to AT&T which my family has been trying to get me to switch to, in order to see what they have to offer and if they're a better customer service provider. read more

Because I am on my company phone and it wasn't listed in the Verizon directory, John helped me contact our company administrator and get me added. Then he was able to get me a new password and I was able to hear (and delete) voice mails for the last 3 months. He made my day! read more

I was told the wait was 45min to 1 hr. I gave my name and phone number and returned 45 mins later as requested. I walked in with brand new still in boa iPhone 5C sent to me by Verizon with receipt. Representatives on floor told me no problem to update to 5S with restocking fee. I have been with ATT for past 10 years, but decided to switch to verizon after the salesman Spencer promised me a great deal/discounts. He stated that he would get it approved by his manager so that all the discounts would be reflected on my first bill. Unfortunately, my first bill did not reflect the correct amount of discounts. I tried to call spencer to get the bill corrected, but he did not respond to my voice messages and texts. After several failed attempts to reach spencer, i had to call verizon customer service. Per customer service, Spencer had quoted me misleading discounts. The customer service was able to connect me to the store assistant manager (Chiquita) at verizon. Chiquita, the store assistant manager was very rude and kept on making excuses for Spencer, instead of trying to help me with my incorrect phone bill. She was also very upset that i called customer service instead of reaching out to the store. I explained to her that i did call the store several times, but the calls got routed to customer service since no one was answering the phone at the store. I requested Chiquita to have the general manager to call me back since she was not very helpful, but the general manager never called me back either. It has been a very frustrating experience dealing with this store. I do not recommend this store as the employees/managers in this store seem very incompetent. read more

I have had repeated poor service at this location, but I continue to go there because they are conveniently located for me. They are understaffed and I have recently been treated worse than poorly. I love Verizon, but I hate this store and give them a 0 star rating. Here's my latest story: When I went in for help last week, the store was mildly busy. I patiently waited to be helped at the counter, although the person did not acknowledge my existence. When he completed the task that had prevented him from saying hello to me, I asked about replacing my existing phone and buying another out-right since I am on a month-to-month contract. First off, he interrupted me FOUR times to talk to other associates in the store. I made an issue out of that, asking for his undivided attention, and he told me that he was the store manager and had to assign his employees tasks to do and could not serve me without interruption. He offered me the option of waiting for someone else to help me! I could not believe that! I sucked it up and dealt with his constant interruptions. This should have been a big clue to me to move on--but I did not. He told me that I had a 1 year contract that I had just signed up for. I told him that he must be mistaken because when I came into the store 3 months ago, my SOLE purpose was to change to a month-to-month contract. He told me that I was wrong--not him. I was terribly unhappy and asked who I could speak to about Verizon's error since I had SPECIFICALLY come in to change to a month-to-month and that I made that abundantly clear to the associate who had helped me. He told me that HE was the store manager and that there was no one else who could help me. He said that since I had a contract, the only way for me to get out of the contract and into a month-to-month was to pay the difference which was $45/month X 3 months. I agreed to do so. Then he immediately told me that THIS WAS NOT POSSIBLE!! Disgusted, I left the store. After doing business with their mediocre service--and now with their disrespectful management--I will go elsewhere. I give them 0 stars for a rating. read more

I would give a zero as I prepare to file my lawsuit. I had 4 Verizon phones for business and family. For over 8 years I have reported misconduct and fraudulent activities at The Woodlands store to Verizon. They have app scams (wonder why your data usage is unusually high....a scam), told my wife she had to get a new contract to keep her phone #, took her off my account, refused to replace defective phones ("has water damage" scam), lie constantly, are rude, etc. My Samsung died a couple weeks ago and they told me it was a battery problem and go to Batteries Plus 'cause we ain't no phone repair shop. Battery was fine as I told Verizon via email. I called tech service and we spent 2 hours pushing buttons....no clue. Conroe store was nicer but said buy a phone and we'll see what we can do or get lost. Every solution is buy a new phone and then get scammed on data, cost of financing, apps installed by store that used data at max rates, etc. I sent an email to Verizon Executive Office and told them to shove their loser company. While out of town for the holidays they sent me a disconnect letter which I did not see until 12-31-2018...I lost my primary business line that thousands of clients have used for over 10 years. I reached out and explained their fault and they threatened to sue me if I ever contacted them again. 20 year customer, treated like crap, they sold me crap, told me to screw off, destroyed my business, and threatened to sue me for telling them what their stores are doing to screw people. Pure retaliation for THEIR actions and my intention to drop them. Run the other way. read more

I was given the run around by several of the guys telling me there was nothing wrong with my phone. Have the phone fully charged and most everything turned off and it would be dead 7 hours later. Had to keep it plugged in all the time, either car or at home. The Conroe store did a major test on the battery and told me it was fine So after 4 trips into 2 stores I was told the warranty was expired by the store by the mall. Told me to take it to Apple in the mall. Apple tested it and said battery was "fryed". I took it back to same store and was told "they have better technology than we do". They finally agreed to replace the phone! Well it was ordered on May 1st, today is May 11th and I still do not have a phone!!!! And Charles said he had to keep my old phone - so, I have been without phone for 11 days. My phone is out for delivery in DEER PARK, well guess what, I live in CONROE, so I sure as heck will not get my phone today either!!!! read more

We used to pass another location and drive out of our way to come to this one because the customer service was truly top notch. Head and shoulders above the rest. Not anymore. It has slipped badly. Do not rely on anything you're told at this store--seriously, get a name, you'll need it later. The next person you talk to will not help you unless you hang the last guy out to dry. Think of it like a secret password. Tell them to get on their little computer and look. They will not think of this without your help. Then, when they finally step up and honor what the last guy told you, expect to hear that You're being extended a courtesy "just this once." Expect staggering arrogance.
