My sister and I came to Best Buy to purchase a computer for our mother. To be honest, I forgot this Best Buy was in Woodmore Town Center, which happens to be much closer than the Annapolis location. I'm glad we came to this location. We experienced phenomenal customer service from Ashley. She offered us pleasant assistance with a smile! Ashley made suggestions, showed us different options, and was extremely helpful. She was also patient and able to answer all of our tech questions. The store itself is spacious with a variety of electronic options to choose from. They also had plenty of options fully stocked on the sales floor. Robin Simms Best Buy Management Team Very disappointed customer # GJD127856 On June 28,2026 I was scheduled to have radio installation, on this visit I was informed by auto installer the items I purchased under supervision and assistance of Best Buy staff the wrong items were purchased. This appointment was then cancelled and rescheduled for July 13,2026. I returned to Woodmore town center location as scheduled early. At this appointment I was referred to three different staff for my installation appointment. Finally, I was informed that the technician was NOT available today! After being delayed , my concern is no one could have notify the customer that the 4 pm appointment was cancelled. Per the staff you only have ONE technician. A courtesy cancellation would have been much appreciative. Finally, I was rescheduled for July 25, 2026. I am writing this as a formal complaint, in after inconvenienced and no results no return calls from any of Best Buy management team. As a manager someone role should include follow up or quality control for this location. Customer service at the Geek Squad is terrible ! Appointment was at 3:40pm. I wasn't seen until 4:50pm. When i asked about any updates on my device he said "not yet i haven't taken it back to do it yet". This was said at 5:25! Worst service ever. The people who work here does not care about your wait time and they are not organized at all about who comes in for appointments or not. I would recommend not to go for this service. I purchased an "Open Box" dryer on Thurs. 9/11 for delivery on Friday, 9/19 which Never happened. The delivery was rescheduled w/o my knowledge and I found out about it on Thursday, 9/18. I went to the store, could NOT talk with a Supervisor, spoke with a sales person named Nicky who worked hard to resolve the issue. Delivery was scheduled for Friday 9/27 and AGAIN it is RESCHEDULED for Next Friday 10/3 after my receiving an email that my delivery would be Friday 9/27 between 2:00 and 6:00 pm. I stopped by the other day to pickup an item. I was cutting close to their closing time so I called the store in advance of me getting there. The person helping me advised me to click on the link "I'm here" since I was 5-7 minutes away from the store and 5 minutes from their closing time. I did that and got to the store at 8:03 PM. The gates had been shut so I knocked on the door and waited... ...and knocked again... ...and waited... ...and knocked again... ..and waited... ...and knocked again... ..and waited... All this while more than a few employees walked by the inner doors but no one made an attempt to come speak with me. Finally at 8:28 PM one of the security personnel came over and told me the store was closed! Duh! I explained my situation and the conversation to him and he said, even though I had clicked "I'm here before 8 PM", since the store was closed, they could not hand over the stuff to me!!! This is literally quite baffling to me - why have the feature if it leads to no action??? He also said that I did not speak to anyone in the store but to someone in a central location and what that person said over the phone does not hold true at the store? This was another crazy assertion by him. For consumers, it should be all transparent - Best Buy the store should be the same as the helpdesk to store telephone conversation! What a waste of over 90 minutes of my drive time and life! No amount of pleading helped :( And I had to come back the next day (another 90+ minute of commute) to pickup my stuff. Came here to pick up an item. The item was ordered in advance for curb side pickup. Here's the thing, I know that curbside is supposed to save you time and have you avoid folk, but I swear this didn't appear to be the case. BB has several parking spots allotted for curbside-they were all full. Additionally, there were individuals lined up on either side of the entrance waiting for their items. Seeing this, I knew that I would need to either pack my patience or carry my tail inside. I know me and nah....I'm not waiting in the car. Inside there was one person ahead of me at customer service. All I had to do was show my order number and ID and I had my item within minutes. The gent that helped me was nice and actually checked my ID (which I dig because people LIE) to what was on the order receipt. Hey handed me a proof of receipt which I handed to the gent at the door and out to my car I went. Seamless! I noticed that there were still people waiting in the same place on the outside of the doors and and the spots for curbside- angry. Nope not me! Just go inside y'all. Purchased a Samsung washer and dryer set from this location on 6/27 to be delivered on 6/29. When it was delivered the washer was defective and had no latch making it useless. We were initially promised redelivery the next day 6/30 but when we called to schedule we were told "I don't know why anyone would've told you that. The soonest we have is 7/1" so that's when we scheduled it. We live on a military base, that being said its noted on our order. When the END of our delivery window came today we got a call saying they sent the washer with the wrong team and they were unable to deliver today but could deliver 7/3. I immediately messaged best buy customer service to verify that as we've had nothing but issues so far and the customer service agent let us know that the previous agent did NOT schedule us for 7/3 and that our only option now was 7/5 or later. At that point I asked to just cancel the delivery and allow us to do the exchange ourselves. The agent then said we can't schedule or change anything until TOMORROW. I have NEVER experienced such a headache with no real solutions from a company in my life. I will NEVER purchase any kind of big item from here again. I'm so very disappointed as I came to best buy expecting the customer service and good experiences I always have. I found the people at the store to be polite, however, not informed. . I worked way too hard to find a cord that the sales person could not find for me.. First,, it was the geek squad, I had to come up with a solution for my problem, and he directed me to computers and parts. this is after he told me my computer was old and there was nothing he could do! I honestly would not bring my computer there if there was something more serious than the black screen I had. My screen had died and I needed a new monitor and that solved my problem. The young lady who helped me there was not familiar with what I needed and sold me the wrong cord for the monitor I purchased. The young man that I talked to when I came back to the store didn't seem to know what I meant when I said I needed a 15 pin VGA cord that was male on both ends. He quickly told me they were sold out. I called the store and bought my cord online. I waited at the online pick up and the young lady that was working with someone in front of me walked away when that customer left. When I questioned this I was told she was helping someone and pick up was no longer at that desk.(of course this is the desk that said online orders and pick up here) It was now across the store. There was no sign informing you of this at all. I go over to the other side and I finally get my cord. I check it and it is the wrong one! I went back to where the cords are because I was told it was in the store by the online folks and I found it. I returned the old one and I purchased it. The only thing people were consistent with was asking me to check my email and please give a five star rating. My experience was so very, very frustrating. My suggestion is that folks get training on a consistent and regular basis. I should not have had to visit that store three times to get what I should've gotten the first time. This store could be so much better! I write with you, not just to complain, but hoping for improvement. This is the community I live in. This is the community I want to shop in. I've been to this location multiple times only specifically for quick screen protector changes since i have a lifetime warranty on mine. But my very recent one is what stood out to me. I went up to the center counters like i did the previous time and i got told to grab the protector i needed and head to geek squad which i understood. Once i was there, to make a long story short, I had to talk to multiple people and some of those i had to talk to more than once (one of them as basically just got off shift) and all of them except the last said to me someone else will take care of it. I had to wait basically what felt like an hour (which it probably was) just to get my protector changed. Service being bad is all i can say. read more

I told him that I requested this service because of a bad back, but he still refused. He then proceeded to leave my truck, to help one of his associates load something in another customer's truck. Purchased boxed software to be picked up at Woodmore Bestbuy store. Got home and there was no software or instructions were in the box. Called BestBuy online customer service. Online CS representative understood the issue and told me to return to store next day to pick up a new box. She advised that I check the box before leaving store. Online CS said that she would document the call and inform the store. Returned to store the next morning.. Clerk did not understand situation and ignored my previous interaction instructions from online customer service. He took the empty software box to their geek squad desk. The Geek Squad person could not tell that the proper pieces to make the software work were not there. Clerk then called the manager. The manager was extremely condescending. Said that online customer service does not control what happens in his store, he does. As far as the missing information was concerned, he actually said that I should check my email order notice from the store for validation code and a download link. That only works for software that is purchased online. Boxed software includes that information somewhere in or on the box. Finally, after much passive aggressive and disdainful behavior from the manager, we left with our box. Again we called online Best Buy customer service. They apologized for the treatment and refunded our purchase money. Went to Staples and purchased the software. All the pertinent information was in the box and I was able to install the software. read more

Terrible customer service. I purchased a tv online for curbside pickup to avoid going inside because of the pandemic and they gave me a physically damaged tv which I didn't notice until I got home. When I took it back the next day, they accused me of breaking it and refused to exchange it. The manager on duty was extremely rude, everyone in the customer service/online pickup department were incompetent and unhelpful and it took me 3 and a half hours of standing in line and talking with Best Buy corporate on the phone before they begrudgingly exchanged my tv. Outside of my main issue, there never seems to be any cashiers on duty and they constantly send customers to the customer service desk to check out, where the rude employees there treat the customers terribly. I don't recommend this location at all. They only get two stars because they usually have what I'm looking for, but you have to go through hell to get it. read more

Came here to buy a battery for my key fob. The gentleman who helped me was nice and offered to change the battery. I tried to use the key fob and it didn't work. I came back into the store and since he was swamped with a long line I went to customer service. They said they couldn't help me and to ask geek squad. I go to geek squad and the manager tells me they are not allowed to change the batteries. I said okay but someone changed it incorrectly and I just need it fixed so that I can get in my car. The manager said I understand but I can't help you. So this of course left me stranded in the parking lot until my mom came to get me and take me to a better store that knows what to do and how to treat people. Not the worse best buy i've been to but absolutely not the best. What makes a store great is its staff and the staff at this particular store are not that friendly or nice. Customer service is almost non existant. The reason for this review is i needed help and i was askin the workers and they werent helpful. Each people is either ignoring me or chatting with another worker. The store is big and clean but its lacking proper training and the right people for the job.. I personally try my best to avoid going to this Best Buy at all cost. There are a few good associates; however, I think the downfall truly starts with the management. I don't think they train their associates to be consistent. Once I was going there to buy an item using a coupon. The cashier told me she would not take it off my phone and that I had to physically print out a paper coupon. At any other store I would have understood, but at BEST BUY?!?!? a technologically driven store? HOW ODD!! As I'm leaving, another employee asked me why I looked so unhappy and he suggested talking to customer service. In talking to customer service, that associate said that they could in fact take the coupon from my phone. But now she had to do a refund and then re do the entire transaction. It was a headache, but she was able to take care of me. She was great, and if I am ever in the store I try to get her as my cashier because she's knowledgeable. Another time, I went into the store and they had a stack of TVs in front of the register. I asked the cashier, does the manager know that these TVs are here? It makes it really hard to use the credit card pad, and you guys ask a lot of questions on the credit card pad. She replied, yes and he refuses to move them. SMH. Customer service is really bad here. They are short staffed but the people aren't very friendly. Many items in the mobile section are locked in cages and very difficult to view. There are also a lot of empty shelves and a lot of items are out of stock here. I purchased an item that I brought an identical one the day before at another Best Buy for $59.99 and was listed here on sale for $79.99. I asked could they match the regular price that I had on my receipt but was told by the sales lady and her upper co-worker that that price ended yesterday. Well apparently the item was on the wrong shelf and was actually $59.99 and I was just told a story to make the lie work. I would recommend another Best Buy like Bowie if it is an option. Updated: Besides having to get on the floor the try and see an item in the back of the caged rack, with the associates serving other customers I had to wait 17 minutes to get someone to open the cage to see if that case isn't for my phone. I'm sure it's a theft deterrent but it is also a buy deterrent. Not the same system at the Bowie, Waldorf DC or Springfield stores. read more

Pretty disappointed with this location. I preordered a new Apple Watch 4 on September 14, 2018. I received email confirmation it would be available for in-store pick up on September 21,2018. I arrived in-store today to pick up my watch, and it was no where to be found. Employees seemed confused and uneducated about the release days/times/preorder process. After consulting 3 other team members, the woman at the customer service desk informed us it wouldn't be in store until mid-October. When we call the customer service line and enter our order number, an automated voice tells us the watch will be available for in-store pick up today (September 21). We then spoke to an actual representative, Jay, on the phone. They couldn't give us an actual time or day the watch would be ready, but informed us it was a warehouse delay. Just wish Best Buy would have relayed that information from the beginning so we wouldn't have wasted a trip out here for nothing. read more

All I wanted to do is purchase a MacBook and get some information about making the purchase and the guy didn't even want to leave from behind the desk to assist me.
