I had this AWFUL and scary problem with my Subaru Forester: it kept rattling sooo badly that it felt like you're driving on cobblestone and you can barely hear the music in the car at high speeds... I know we have terrible roads in SD but this was not just the roads. I got a diagnosis with a mechanic in SD but I got a recommendation to Tom and his crew here. Tom offered to fix THE problem, along with other concerns for WAAAAY cheaper. I knew it was going to be an awful drive up full of anxiety but Tom told me that it'll feel bad, but I'd be okay to get here. This was over a year ago, but here's my experience with them. I Called and asked if they do full alignment for ae86 (4 links, pinion angle, etc.) and they said they can. Brought my car in and picked up an hour later. Charged me like $240 and said they couldn't do the rear end. I asked why and all he said was it wasn't make any noises, so they decided to leave it alone. WTH? I brought it in because the rear end wasn't fully straight due to the 4 links I added. I asked if they tightened the nuts and bolts and he went to ask the alignment dude. He assured me that they did tightened them. I took the car home and jacked it up to inspect and nothing in the rear was tightened. In fact, they didn't even touch the rear end. It was exactly how it was before I took it to them. I paid $240 for what? Front end alignment? I am guessing they don't know how to align adjustable 4-links. What's sad is the the alignment dude owns an ae86 too. Don't tell us you can do it if you CANT or dont know how to. I brought other modern cars here before for alignments and they did decent jobs. Just don't bring in cars with live axles. read more

So, my 8 year old Honda's alternator started to go out. I took it to my local Honda dealership thinking it was a gonna be a cheap and quick fix. They quoted me $1100 for a re-manufactured alternator and labor. I told them that there was no way I'm paying that. The Honda guy said that he'd give me $75 off of the price. LOLOLOL... I took it to Best Care Auto and Dennis the manager basically said that they could get me a brand new alternator(the same ones Honda uses without the Honda badge) and labor for just under $400 bucks. Took my car in, and I was in and out in less than 2 hours. Thank you Best Care Auto for saving me $700 bucks... save your time and money.
