This place is close by, the prices are okay, and the friendly service should you need assistance is good too. What is bothering me? I'll tell you. The baby German Cockroaches that are walking around. I saw one on top of the machine I was washing my clothes in. They dont scare me, but they are a serious pain in the ass if they catch a ride home with you and have kids in your home. I once knew a woman who brought furniture from another person's house to their home. I notice one item had baby German cockroaches hiding in the wood. I told the owners the furniture was roach infested but they did not listen to me. Months later their house was infested with German cockroaches. They had to fumigate the house for a week or two before they could sell the house. I have had two experiences with German cockroaches and do not want a third. It maybe called Best Laundromat, but it is not for me. The men's bathroom was dirty and had graffiti scratched on various parts off the wall. I had been coming here to service my husbands clothes. I had not run into a problem. One afternoon, I picked up some dress shirts for my husband and I complained about some stains left on the shirts. For a long time, this used to be a Zips, then Max's, and now a Best Cleaners (albeit now broken into a dry cleaning and laundry facility). I've only been once, and they did a pretty decent job with a few professional wear items (dresses, pants), as well as 2 jackets. My only disappointment was that everything is not $2.29 as the sign advertises - they charged me extra for having dog hair on my wool coat and extra for a belt on my other coat. In fairness, they did tell me before charging me, but still a little misleading of signage if you ask me. Also be aware that this is a cash only establishment, and the ATM that is in the laundry facility looks uber dodgy, like something straight out of Breaking Bad (I didn't use it). read more

Don't go there .I picked my coat from this cleaner but unfortunately when I get home I checked it and I find that it was burned in the lining by the iron . They didn't recognize The matter. I sued them and a court will be soon. read more

I recommend you try somewhere else. I have been to multiple dry cleaners and this one does not care about the customer. They do not get your clothes clean and then when you show it to them they will only fix it if you pay again. I wish I would have checked the reviews before I went there. Beware!! read more

I like this dry cleaners/alterations place! I work in Ballston and could easily use any dry cleaners there, but I come here because the couple that runs it is friendly and prices are better. They made a small mistake on an order, quickly apologized and are fixing it. A lot better than some other places that have given me a hard time when this sort of thing happens. read more

Only give it one star as it's only way to write review. The staff is very nice yet every time I take my clothes in I get charged additional for something. An extra dollar if there is any pet hair. $5 for starch in women's dress shirts?!?!? And up charge if you only have one item?!?!? Off to find a new cleaner. read more

$1.99 per item? Sold! I just love this place. The place is bright, clean, and efficient. It always smells like fresh laundry instead of dry cleaning chemicals because of the laundromat next door. The service is fantastic and the savings I get from using Best Cleaners instead of one closer to my house is the equivalent of a car payment. read more

I took in 2 wool throws to be dry cleaned in July. I went to pick them up and noticed one still had spots. They said they would re-spot them and to come back& them up. They gave me a new ticket for it. I also dropped off a table cloth I returned I got the table cloth with someone else's name on it. They also tried to give me someone else's shirts. They said they did not have a record of my wool throws in their computer. They lost my blue wool throw. I showed them I had a ticket. The owner said that was under old management last, month and they did not do that It's under new management. It was not in their computer. They were supposed to look for it and call. They never did. I never had a problem with the old owners. I called last night 6 days later and they said they don't have a record of it, I never dropped it off. I told him to look for it again. I called again this am and they said it's not in their computer, they have no record of it. I told him I have a ticket. The Owner Mr. Lee said I had picked up the items. He was arguing with me. So save yourself a headache and use dryell or another dry cleaner. read more

Good inexpensive service that is relatively quick. Convenient location and in and out service. Limited in services and tailoring.

Realized I only received 6 out of my 7 items I dropped off, came back to see if they could look for the 7th item. They refused and was told it wasn't their fault since I didn't notice when I picked up the items originally. I will never go here again, customer service was terrible and now I am out of a shirt. read more

This place should be renamed - Worst Cleaners. Let it be known, they ruined four of 15 dress shirts and then denied that they could do such a thing. In fact, three of the four were brand new shirts from the custom tailor. At first, I thought it was the customer shirt maker, but after inspection of the shirts, the exact stain was on all four shirts (three new and one older) in roughly the same location. The front line cashier/supervisor said that I was lying... how is that for customer service. I had her get the manager and he was totally arrogant. This place just reopened after being converted into a laundromat and dry cleaners. I thought I would see what there quality was like and brought in my yellow winter jacket that had been stained with some dirty snow this winter. They charged $8 bucks which I thought was a bit steep for a winter coat. They said they could get the gunk off it. I come back a few days later and not only is the coat not clean, but the lettering on the jacket had been damaged and completely removed by whatever they did to it. I point this out and they tell me the manager has to speak with me but he is not in. I come back two days later and the manager goes on and on about how he been doing this 25 years and there is nothing that can clean this jacket. He dose not own up to the damage they did to it and dose not acknowledge that they did not clean the jacket and will not offer refund. You can trust your cleaning needs to this guy but I will not. read more

Worst Dry Cleaners/Laundry I have ever visited. Ruined my dress shirt by pouring bleach all over the shirt then blamed me for doing it. They totally admitted that the shirt was in excellent condition when I brought it in, but insisted I was my fault that all of the color was bleached out when laundered. They even said that my shirt ruined other items when it was laundered! After 5 trips back and much complaining, they paid me for the shirt - a complete waste of my time. If this place is actually "Under New Management" as the sign states, they need to fire the manager and start over again. Additionally, my dry cleaning had a bad odor when I got it back indicating they cleaned my clothes in dirty solvent - now I am wearing somebody else's sweat! DO NOT GO HERE for your dry cleaning!!! I've just pick up my dry cleaning here and noticed that my sport jacket was not clean properly, it's still very dirty!!! I then asked them to take a look at it and the manager's, the one doing the cashier, attitude changed right away like i did something wrong or i am bothering her or something. She told me to leave it. That's it!!! I said I need a receipt of the jacket being left for "re-cleaning". She said that she would not give me one and told me to use the tag on my dry cleaning as the receipt. I told her that's not the receipt for the jacket, that's the receipt for the whole dry cleaning. I said if i were to come back for the jacket and she or someone else say that they don't have it. Then what do I do? She gave me the look and kept saying they do not give receipt for this situation. I said I can't leave my jacket here and asked for the manager. She said she is the manager. Then I asked to see the owner and need to talk to the owner cause i am not going to have my clothes clean here anymore because of this service. She said "good"!!! But the owner was not there.
