The technician, Danny called me but I didn't pick up since I didn't recognize his mainland number. Good thing he texted that he was from Isle Locksmith. Prior to this service a different company was called in to help with the lock out and couldn't get it open. The locksmith tried everything, they couldn't open it up and even suggesting to drill my door open and I wanted to avoid breaking my door. This locksmith charged me $700 upfront. Instead of replacing the known broken ignition housing, he did a temporary adjustment and promised it was fixed. Fast forward 3 months later, and the ignition is completely jammed again. When I reached out to have him fix his failed work, he refused to waive the labor or take responsibility. Instead, he tried to charge me an additional $750 to finish the job he should have done the first time. That would be $1,450 total for a repair that standard auto shops charge $400-$500 for. This is an unfair and deceptive business practice. Save your money and sanity-call a reputable local mechanic or a different locksmith instead.

Everyone but this guy was double the price and longer wait time to arrive at Kakaako along Ala Moana Blvd. He had the best rate way under $100, and he was immediately available -- within 10minute arrival! I was lucky. Later on, a neighbor was locked out and I recommended him but he was out of town, unfortunately for her. I would still recommend this guy for plan A if you are in Kakaako or nearby areas -- bookmark on yelp. Always keep a plan B too. Since then, I do keep a lock pad outside my door and spare keys in other places.
