I was in need of a Locksmith and this guy had 5 star reviews on YELP so I decided to give him a try. I had to replace the lock on my main door and had to cut the blade on my car keys. Raphael was very professional was able to get everything done. He did have a hiccup with cutting the blade on my car keys. His machine broke while cutting the blade but he was able to come back the next day and complete the job. Not only he came back the next day but also made me a spare key for my car free of cost. I was running at White Rock Lake and dropped my keys somewhere within a 4 miles radius... after walking the route twice without finding them, I called Rafael. Unlike other mobile locksmiths, he gave me a FIRM QUOTE OVER THE PHONE. None of this "well this is how much the key costs, but the technician can give you a quote on labor once he's there"... that just smells like a ripoff. Expensive, cost me 265$ for 1 deadbolt and a regular lock. 65$ flat fee to get them to your door. Really hard to understand and communicate when u call them. They did come on time and got the job done quickly. They only have 2 colors of locks so now my handle and lock are 2 different colors. So, I gave Ben 5 stars for a $10 discount. The problem is that my car alarm goes off every time I unlock my door. Ben can't fix it and I've already paid him. The only solution is giving him more money to try a different type of key. My mistake for cheaping out and not going to the dealership. In the end, my car is drivable despite the alarm going off... sometimes for 5 minutes at a time. If it's an emergency, Ben is the guy to call. They arrived on time and when I didn't have the right screws for the repair, the guy disappeared into his van and sawed down some other screws to make it work.
