I scheduled an appointment with Nikki over two weeks in advance and confirmed it three separate times. Despite this, I was pushed behind 2 late clients "Because they still came". After waiting 3hrs, I raised my concern in a respectful manner, the owner told me we don't take appointments, he doesn't care and not to return. That is not how customer service or professionalism works. Even more concerning, I observed that tools, utensils and work stations were not being disinfected between clients. This raises serious sanitation and health concerns. Businesses value their clients, respect their time, their health, and their loyalty. Unfortunately, this salon does not! So, I've gone throughout all of the reviews just out of curiosity... Best Nail, Tony and KNEE (for those who can't get the owner's wife's name right) are phenomenal. I've never experienced a bad time at Best Nails. I've read complaints of "long wait times", well of course. It's a nail salon. You're not the only one who requires their nails done. Secondly, I've noticed others complaining of them speaking their NATIVE LANGUAGE; they're Vietnamese. Of course they speak their BORN LANGUAGE. Come on people. I, only, allow this shop to do my manicure and pedicure. They do amazing. They've employed their children! It's so cool, great atmosphere, and they try their hardest to ensure you receive the best customer service. Anyone saying otherwise just isn't happy in general. 11 years coming here. I have patronized Best Nails for over 20 years. I'm DONE! Due to my schedule and not having the time to wait, I can't always get the tech I desire to do my nails. But since the location is convenient and the shop was familiar I continued to patronize them realizing it was HIT or MISS. Often I leave and end up repolishing or repairing the shape myself. Ms. Lee often is loud as she argues with either the customers or the technicians. On my last visit, I had to tap her arm twice to ask her to stop arguing with the tech behind her and finish my nails. So much for a relaxing self-care day. When I left I noticed my nails had bubbles but figured they would dry hard. Afterwards, the more I washed my hands the more the nail polish peeled. After showering all my nails were peeling. I had to travel, so I stopped by to show Tony/owner how it looked; rudely he directed me to show his wife/Ms. Lee who had been my tech. I told her I could not have them done then but would return when I was back in town. Today I went and Ms. Lee said it was my fault, that I didn't put my nails in the UV Lamp properly. (Note I've gotten my nails done every 2 weeks for over 20 years - I know the process) She insisted on doing my nails rather than someone else. I refused to let her demolish my nails again. I WILL NOT RETURN TO BEST NAILS and I don't advise anyone to do so. read more

Worse Nail Shop everrrr! I came in on Wednesday for a spa pedicure. Horrible experience. The guy uses the razor on my feet causing my foot to burn and bleed. While I am experiencing this pain, I hear the owners wife basically screaming at a young lady (teenager). The owner's wife is so nasty. Calling the girl "stupid" it was disgusting. I am assuming the young lady didn't relax her hand enough to the owner's liking because she then proceeds to hit the girl on the hand repeatedly. This establishment should be closed or Tony really needs to leave his angry wife at home. She will be the cause of a lease suit soon. I have been going to this salon for over 15 years. Wednesday was my last day ever stepping foot in Best Nails. This community deserves better than the treatment given at Best Nails!!!! read more

I would give Best Nails a 0 if I could. So unorganized in this nail shop, the wait during the week over 3 hours. Everyone tries to get Tony, the owner to do their nails, and their is a wait for him; up to several hours. This is because most of the other nail techs aren't good or don't do quality work. I was told his wife was doing my nails, and thought she would do a good job. Getting gel nails for my wedding, the nail tech messed up and tried to fix; without redoing the nail. The polish near the cuticles of most of my nails were raised and a darker color than the rest of the nail. The next day, the nail that she made a mistake on chipped off. This was by far the worst gel nail service I've received. I will never return or recommend this shop. read more

Worst customer service ever! Waited for 6hrs to get a fill in and pedicure. This is ridiculous! Tony allows customers to sign up for service the next day causing the current customers to wait ridiculous hours for service. I was there at 9:15am the first through the door but people continued to come in hours after me and were taken before me because they signed in the day before. But he does not take appointments - doesn't make sense, just bad customer service and lack of respect for peoples time. Then have the nerve to rush me once it is my turn. If I could give this place zero stars I would. I came in Wednesday to get a gel full set and by Friday my gel had turned black and appeared dirty when my hands were clean. The gel wasn't my main issue though, things happen. I went in to ask them if they could change the color for me since it had only been two days. Unfortunately, my experience is bad. Tony calls your name (can't pronounce names) and the wait here so long. Being skipped multiple times and people that came in after me was seen. All I was trying to get done is eyebrows, pedicure and fill in. Yesterday the wait was over 2.5 hours. I tried coming back the next day to give them a chance because i came on a Friday around 5pm. I'm back here and I'm still waiting. If you come to this establishment make sure you stay on top of whoever is reading the names on the list. My name is so simple to read honestly. I had the most terrible experience in this shop today. I was soaking out of my nails and I asked if I could change the television channel because it was informercials running and I was falling asleep. The manager started screaming walking from the front of the salon telling me I need to calm down and I should not be asking to turn the tv station. I'm 44 years old and I refuse to patronize businesses who don't value its' customers. I kindly told him I will not allow him to talk to me like that and that I would leave. I'm so disappointed I though I had a good place to go , but Wednesday when tried to get a pedicure and full set I ended up walking out. When I pulled I did notice they were busier than the last time I came it was a little bit before 2:30pm and when I walked thru the door all I could hear was a nail tech and customer going at it So much vulgar language and mind you their was other customers there with children smh. Worse part about it instead of the owner (guy that sits at the station near receptionist desk) doesn't say anything doesn't tell to be quiet doesn't try to handle the situation as the owner and doesn't even ask me how can I help you? Are you serious?? They are going at it for about 5 minutes, all because of simple language barrier. Customer asked about her usual nail tech was feeling who was out sick due to Surgery. And I'm assuming the nail tech thought she was saying she didn't want her she wanted her usual nail tech. But long story short I ended up having to ask are they taking clients because no one still asked me how could I help you? another client ended up saying I had to sign the sheet up front she also stated there not usually like this although she did state she did have an incident with this same nail tech. Hmmm:\ So I sign in and sit down 30 mins go buy no names are called. I ask how many people are ahead of me its 5. So I sit back down another 25 mins go buy and the same tech and the client end up getting back into it because the nail tech hid the polish this time. The call one name, but the nail tech isn't even ready. That was the last straw I grab my things and walk out. Nearly a hour goes buy only 1 name is called and this nail tech seems like she's very immature and plays with people time which is a no-no for me (who has time for that she had to be in her mid-40's we are too gown to be playing like that) . And obviously the owner tolerates it. Such a shame. I'm just mad I wasted an hour of my time. Never again I will go somewhere else.
