I've been looking for a good pizza place close to home, and I think I've finally found it! I loved that they offer pizza by the slice, especially with a great 2 slices and a drink deal. Not having to order an entire pizza just to end up lugging half of it home in a box that barely fits in the fridge was a big plus for me. My fiancé, mother, and I all tried the Buffalo Chicken pizza, while my fiancé also got a cheese slice and I tried the white pizza. Both my fiancé and I really enjoyed the slices we tried. The atmosphere of the shop was really nice, too. I could definitely picture a group of regulars making this their go-to spot for pizza and drinks. The staff was kind and attentive, and they came by to clear our table once they noticed we were wrapping up our meal, which I always appreciate. We'll definitely be coming back sometime soon. Staff here is very nice. They stopped by our table several times to make sure everything was good. I tried the meat lovers and the works slices which were pretty good. I do wish there was more sauce on the pizza though. You can get a free slice of pizza if you buy a hat or a t-shirt for only $8, which is a great deal. A few weeks ago, I stopped into The Best Pizza & Brew for yelp event and got a couple of slices and really enjoyed the experience, so when I needed to order pizza for my office, I knew I wanted to give them a shot. I ordered 20 pizzas a couple of days in advance, and when I arrived, Brad, the owner, was incredibly attentive and made sure everything was right. He even remembered me from my previous visit, which was a really nice personal touch. I ordered a mix of classics and some more unique options: pepperoni, cheese, Hawaiian, meatball, and BBQ chicken. Everything was hot, fresh, and ready to go when I arrived. We have an office of around 75-90 associates, and we order pizza for the team at least once or twice a month. We normally go with the typical chain pizza places, so I wasn't sure if I was just being a little biased after enjoying my first visit, but my team absolutely confirmed it for me. Everyone loved it! The quality was noticeably better than the chain pizza we normally order, but the variety was an even bigger hit. I had 2-3 associates who had never even heard of meatball pizza and were pretty skeptical about the idea of meatballs on a pizza. After trying it, they didn't just like it, they were talking about making a trip to the restaurant themselves! I had people asking me for the name of the restaurant, asking what they should try next time, and recommending different pizzas to each other. That's when you know you've found something special. Needless to say, The Best Pizza & Brew went from being a place I wanted to visit with my family to a restaurant that's very likely going to become our regular office pizza spot too. Second visit and we love this place. It gives a cozy 'hanging out in the neighborhood' vibe. I forgot they have a bar so we're definitely coming back to watch a game or something here. I had a slice of buffalo chicken, I think I meant to try the bbq chicken this time but it's always so hard for me to choose between both! Recently, I checked this location out for a Yelp event, and gave their wings a go which this review will focus on. This location has shared parking, so it can be challenging but for a lunch it was pretty easy to find a spot. The staff immediately greeted and were incredibly friendly. For the flavor of the wings, I was indecisive so I got all three sauces on the side with both blue cheese and ranch. They raved about their ranch, so I had to give a go and very good. The wings came out as likely the FRESHEST wings I've ever had. My boyfriend and I both had to wait a moment to let them cool before eating, and they had a great crunch. I did find myself wishing they had mango haberno or other flavors of wing sauce as the three they had I didn't particularly enjoy. The place is great for a quick service with booth seating, patio when weather permits, and even a bar to sit at the counter. Still not in the camp that they are the "Best" as name suggests, as I've had better pizza. I was even just in NYC this week having authentic Napoli pizza. Arrived about 12:30pm for lunch on a Friday. Counter service and I waited behind one other party. I ordered two slices of The Works and an ice tea. I was provide a number for delivery of food. I was provide my drink at the ordering counter and selected a table. My pizza arrived 5 minutes later. The pizza was hot and delicious. Generous amount of toppings and the crust was crispy and flavorful. Love the vibe at this place, very California, a good blend of rock music and surf videos on the TVs. We love that they fry their foods here in tallow! We ordered their boneless buffalo wings, calamari, and truffle fries. Our friend ordered the bone in wings and they looked really plump and juicy. The boneless wings were decen, but next time we will get the bone-in wings. The calamari were cooked perfectly and not dry. The fries could have used more truffle. We like their pizza by slice offerings to be able to try different flavors. My favorite is the burrata and sausage with hot honey drizzle. We also ordered a pizza togo. My daughter in law told me about this place and so her, my son and I headed over for a late lunch. The parking lot is small, but luckily after a circle around we were able to get a space. There is also street parking nearby as well as parking garage with a short walk. Location is pretty small but doesn't feel crammed or anything. I instantly knew I'd love it with the option of buying slices instead of a whole pizza especially if it's just you stopping in after waiting a few minutes and checking out the menu we opted for a few different slices to try as well as the House salad and drinks. This was my first visit to Best Pizza & Brew. We arrived around noon on a Thursday just before the lunch rush, and easily found a table. You order at the counter, then find yourself a table, and they bring the food out to you, which made everything feel quick and easy. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and our food came out surprisingly fast. We started with the garlic knots, which were warm, soft, buttery, and a great way to kick off the meal. We weren't super hungry, so we ordered the two-slice plus a drink meal and split it between the two of us, which ended up being just the right amount. We tried the BBQ Chicken Pizza, and it was delicious. The crust was perfectly crisp, and the combination of barbecue sauce, chicken, and toppings made for a flavorful pizza without feeling too heavy. My husband found this place and wanted to check it out. He heard it was new, it wasn't busy when we arrived. We were greeted right away and the staff were friendly. You order at the counter and can sit anywhere. We each got a slice of the buffalo chicken pizza and it was good. This place moved into the old Gadzooks in Downtown Chandler. There's pretty limited seating inside but they have an extended patio on the east side of the building. They have a nice long bar counter and serve regional craft beer on draft. The workers were friendly and gave a quick overview of their beer on tap and their pizza. They serve specialty pizzas and have them by the slice ready to go. The slices are average size and they have a few specials- 2 slices for $12, slice + salad for $12.50 and they also have a limited time swag (T-shirt or hat) + slice for $8. I tried a slice of the Pesto Goat Cheese pizza and The Works pizza -both were tasty. There's a few more slices I've earmarked to try in the future. Besides pizza, they have salads, sandwiches, appetizers (including calamari and Brussel sprouts) and desserts. I'm late in posting this but the service we received deserves to be recognized! We stopped to check out "Best Pizza & Brews" on Sat March 21st. just 12 days after their March 9th opening. We were told that they had the "San Diego crew" to help with training the AZ team. No wonder there were at least nine crew members behind the small service counter. During our meal, we had three different servers checking and asking how we liked our food. Having worked in a restaurant years ago, I understand how valuable feedback is especially during the weeks after opening. I respectfully and honestly told her that I thought the chicken wings were on the dry side but the flavor rocked. My husband didn't mention that his slice of "the works" pizza was mediocre but he thought next time we'd have a pizza made to order and see if it would be better. She put the crushed peppers and parmesan in a bag and included one ranch too. Bag dropped accidentally when handed to me, which wasn't a big deal. But the lid opened a bit and we didn't realize it. Luckily, it was all in the bag and didn't get on my car. The pizza had a really nice crunch. No soggy bottoms. They all had a good flavor but I prefer my pizzas more saucy. They just recently opened March 9th. Still pretty new! They have many options to choose from if you're just wanting to try a variety of slices. Went for dinner on Monday night around 6:15. Pizza slices looked like they had been sitting for a bit but still looked good. I had the best house salad and added chicken. Hubby & I had dinner here last Friday night. You walk in & order then sit where you want. Hubby got a mexican beer on draft. I tried the strawberry margarita. I also asked for a water. There are small plastic cups near the water. The ice melted very quickly. We ordered the garlic knots, a large meatball pizza, a slice of BBQ chicken pizza to take home & a slice of the Buffalo chicken pizza to take home & try later. They had all the doors & rollup open. They do have fans kicking, but it made it a bit warm inside. The worst part was fighting the flies to keep them off our food. The staff were friendly and helpful. The garlic knots were good. They are crunchy on the outside but soft in the middle. The crust of the pizzas was excellent! We agreed the best crust by far. Even warmed up it was really good. However, the pizzas were really lite on the sauce & toppings. The large meatball pizza was $33. A bit overpriced for the amount of sauce & toppings. The margarita was not good at all. It was very sour & didn't taste like any margarita we have had before. Because of the outstanding crust, I am sure we will get pizza from here again. Cute little place in chandler and I do mean little and that starts with having only 1 spot in the parking lot for pickup and that had a door dash guy sitting in it. Once I was able to park and find my way in my order was only half ready. One pizza was in the warmer and 1 in the oven. I had great expectations for this pizza due to the reviews but when I got it home it was totally greasy and the crust was ok on Detroit but not on the regular pie. We also found the flavor profile to be somewhat unusual and I'm not sure if it was the difference in cheese or that it was greasy. All in all it didn't fill our expectations. Honestly I can't stop talking about my last visit I got to recently try through Yelps events, and so glad I did, but for this review I wanted to review the new items I chose. The garlic knots served with ranch and marinara sauce, the ranch is so so good, never dipped my knots in ranch but both sauces were good, the flavor of their ranch hits! Also I tried their wings, bone in they have a perfect ratio of fat to meat, I usually enjoy more lean but these were really good not to fat. Not to many sauces to choose from but I went with the medium, and it's was great for me. The wings are breaded and fried nice and crisp.. it's all got me wanting more. The service is really nice and friendly, I always ask for recommendations and I'm glad I went with his recommendation on everything from my slice meal to my margarita drink. They have plenty of merchandise inside to check out, and open bar w bar seating, not to much parking in the lot which is also shared w another business, really cool area, I didn't have trouble finding a spot thankfully up close when I went but it was the last spot open. We all sampled the different varieties of pizza and it was a conclusion decision on the part of the whole group that the pizza was good but nothing special considering the price. As for service, you order your own food and they deliver it to the table....again, not worth the price. There is a case with available pizza slices with lots of options. We ordered a slice of pepperoni, the works, and burrata sausage hot honey. My wife got a small best house salad without bleu cheese. The slices came out pretty fast and were good. The crust is nice and the slices all had good flavor. My wife said the salad was delicious. There is a full bar with plenty of beers on tap. This has become one of my favorite weekday lunch spots. The vibe is exactly what I want in the middle of a workday. Great atmosphere, plenty of beers on tap, and a relaxed, welcoming feel that makes it easy to settle in for lunch. The chalkboard beer menu and tap wall give it personality without trying too hard. The food is consistently excellent. Everything tastes fresh and well prepared, and the menu has enough variety that I can keep coming back without getting bored. The sandwiches, pizza, and appetizers are all solid choices. What really stands out, though, is the service. The staff is friendly, attentive, and genuinely seems happy to be there. Drinks come out cold, food comes out quickly, and the whole experience is smooth from start to finish. 03/19/2026 My friend and I love pizzas with hot honey, and there were many rave reviews for the burrata/sausage/hot honey pizza. So we each got a slice of that. I also got a slice of the pesto goat cheese. We ordered at the counter, got a number, then sat at a booth. The booth was set up awkwardly. It was elevated, and the seat felt too close to the table, and I'm a petite person. Food was brought out to us after a few minutes. I think they have to reheat the slices before serving. The burrata/sausage/hot honey slice had big puddles of honey on top. The honey taste overpowered everything else. It didn't have any heat to it either - tasted just like regular honey. The pesto goat cheese slice was pretty good. It's topped with pine nuts for a little crunch. While we were eating, different servers came over three times to ask how things were and if we needed anything else. That was really nice, but we thought it was funny because it was like one right after the other. Found for the first time today for breakfast and this place did not disappoint! The coffee was really good and both the chicken and waffles and chicken fried steak were well-made and really yummy. We did request REALLY well-done hash browns and they weren't, but most places don't pay too much attention to this request.
