    the beer selection

Let's be clear. This is a beer bar. 30 on tap and numerous cans. They do have a few bottles of wine you can choose from. Food is limited and completely bar food. Cute vibe. Quaint setting and friendly and attentive staff. It's worth a stop.

Great little local place. 30+ craft beers on tap. Large selection of cold can beers. They have a little selection of wine for non-beer people. All in all a cool little place to enjoy a beer with friends

I don't like beer. However, after thoroughly enjoying a Guinness in Dublin (and then in the rest of the U.K.), I've decided that not all beer taste bad. If you can't find a beer here that you like, then you aren't trying. The menu is color coded, but a word of warning: the stouts are lumped in with the porters, which makes sense but my tastes buds like the stouts better. So you might want to pay attention to the groupings. The waitress brought just two different stouts for a taste before I settled for the Peanut Butter Latte golden stout. It sounds really strange, but it really has a unique taste. If you like the taste of peanut butter, you'll like this beer, but have a sample first, just in case. Nicole H. and I also shared some sidewinders--the Southwestern ones. The appetizer was a lot of food for the two of us, but maybe not for two really hungry people. Our waitress was helpful and accommodating, even when Mark H. and John B. showed up late and expanded our table. She continued to check back with us for additional drinks and food (Mark had one of their brats and it looked pretty tasty). The prices for their beer seemed a little high, but maybe we're paying for the experience, too. I noticed a cool wheel of beer that I was going to try out but forgot about it (my back was to it most of the evening). It did look like a way to figure out what type of beer might be your favorite.

This place is pretty cool. As their name says, it is super casual and they have a great selection of beers. Its got that coffee shop vibe. You can stop in to shop for some beers or chill at a couch for some conversation or hang at the bar and watch a game. In the shopping area, you can create your own 6 pack to go (bottles or cans). I like having the option of trying out a few beers without having to buy a full 6 pack. You can also fill up growlers here as well straight out of the tap. Bring your own if you own one. If you are hanging here and want to grab a pint, their have a nice variety of rotating beers on hand that are showcased on a big chalkboard. Hungry? They have some light bites and appetizers as well. This is a great place to chill over a beer whether you are alone or with some buddies. Seating is both indoor and outdoor.

I have driven past this place multiple times and finally decided to give it a try. It is a smaller, cozy venue and they had live music. We really loved the fact that we could order flights and try several of the beers at once. The food is just okay; go for the beer and the atmosphere.

Went to the grand opening last night and had a great time! They have a wonderful selection of beer on tap and bottled/canned on shelves like a market. You will find some beers here you won't be able to find much elsewhere in AZ, including one of my favs, Mother Earth Cali Creamin'. They also sell the usual merch and growlers. I really like the cafe feel to this place, between the outdoor patio and the indoor setup with comfortable seating. The staff was also very friendly even with the chaos of their opening night -- very impressive. My only reason this isn't 5 stars is that they do run pricey. While they are close by and thus convenient, some of their beers on tap are $10 for a pint. All in all, I will definitely be coming back as its close to home and seems to have a great crowd and great staff running the place. Cheers!

This place was so great. I've only been the one time, but it was a nice cozy atmosphere, the beer and wine were both fantastic, and the servers were very nice and helped my husband and I choose our drinks. I love the little shopping area as well and would like to go back some time to pick up a sixer of different craft beers for a flight at home.

We walked in just before 430 and the place was packed. That was totally unexpected. Not sure if its always like that or if it was because of the NBA finals. There are large screen TVs everywhere and all playing some sport on it. There was music playing too. With all the people, TV's and music it was very loud to say the least. Our server was super attentive and nice. I ordered the southwest eggrolls that came with a ranch dipping sauce (it was not traditional ranch but I forget what our server called it). It was $5 for my order. These eggrolls were AH-MAZING! The ranch was amazing too! Our server said all their dressings and sauces are made in house which you can definitely taste. My order came with three eggrolls cut in half and I was full after 2. They were very flavorful and not spicy at all. I would order these again in a heartbeat. I tried a friends guacamole which was really good and also not spicy. I would love to see chips and queso on their menu. They had chips and salsa and chips and guacamole but no chips and queso. Also, and the only thing that bothered me is they don't print your check. They hand you their handheld POS device and stand there while you tip them. I don't know if the suggested tip includes tax or not because they don't print your check. I tip on the cost of the meal before tax but this process they have doesn't allow me to do that.

And one order of nachos with blackened chicken. And an order of buffalo shrimp. My husband and I love shrimp and we have never seen buffalo shrimp. We ordered the mild because sadly I can't handle any heat. It's ridiculous I know. Anyways, I only ate two because it was kind of hot for me. It was me not them. And I really liked it. I would like to try some again if they weren't as hot. My husband, was probably Happy because he ended up eating the rest of them himself. Lol. We all loved the nachos. I liked the ones with the ground beef Best. And my boys and husband loved the blackened chicken nachos. My four guys all had burgers and fries. No complaints and no leftovers. So I think that went good. I ordered the sirloin with the smashed red potatoes and Parmesan toast. I ate every bite of the steak. I couldn't finish the potatoes. I could tell you they tasted delicious though. Sadly, nowhere near our house or else we would go again and often. I only remembered to take one picture after I drained it in A1, which is my preference. But there's a picture. The staff were Uber friendly. Overall, we would definitely return. I only had one complaint. Do not get ice water. It was the most disgusting water I've ever tasted. I ended up asking for a bottle of water because I couldn't even sip the water after I even drowned it in lemon. They need to do something about that. It's gross.

In 2025 we couldn't stop raving about this place the food was amazing the service was impeccable. This last visit this weekend was disappointing. My partner ordered the beef wellington which was excellent and I ordered the duck which was...unexpected. The black cherry confit seemed non-existent, I think I actually got the same sauce that was on the Wellington. I didn't say anything because I wasn't sure and the duck was prepared well so I just let it go. The creme brulee dessert was a disaster. The first order came out black and I told the waiter there was something wrong with it immediately. He had mentioned he was new so I'm guessing he wasn't sure what it was supposed to look like. I tried to crack into it and the top just molded with the spoon so I asked him to take it back because it was not right. I watched him show it to someone, who I was told was the owners son, and they sent another. The owners son dropped it off the table and said, this should be more to my liking and walked away. Well it was only slightly less burnt but it did crack so I tried it. Sugar was definitely burnt, you could taste it, and the custard was dripping wet instead of solid. I showed this to the other waiter who was helping and she understood immediately and took it back. She said let's just get you the lava cake instead and I said fine. It's too bad because the flavor on the custard itself was excellent and I was really looking forward to it. Needless to say I was disappointed when the dessert was not taken off the bill after all we had been through with it. I expect more when dinner for two costs almost $200.
