Vince is the new manager since the Winter of 2024. He brought a team of experienced guys, including a trusted painter with over 25 years' experience! The previous team was a nightmare! I had been going to Gerbers for 20 years and never had a problem until about a year ago, when I took it to the former management. The Lexus I drive has a white pearlized paint, which is a bit tricky to handle. They had a new guy painting who messed it up no less than 4 times! Each time it was a different problem, first it was a hair in the paint, then the tape pulled the paint off, etc., etc., it took WEEKS to get it back and it stil wasn't right. The new manager, Vince, an experienced manager, knew what had to be done. He had to correct some mistakes made on the front end, caused by the previous team, and got it done beautifully in a WEEK! Took Audi Q8 for windshield replacement They previously ( 1 week ago) filled in a chip and the result looked horrible so we decided to change the windshield entirely. They knew make model type of car etc there were no surprises They installed windshield but could not get it calibrated it correctly. They told us they needed either a new part or new( another) windshield. They Would not be able to install for another 6 to 7 days. The part had to be ordered The manager didn't seem to care and after pushing her on issue telling we needed the car to be ready for a long trip, the said she may be able to get the needed part by tomorrow but could not guarantee it.( part getting here or having it installed on time) we need the car tomorrow Thursday since were going out of town. Was told car is drivable its just has no sensors. I find that it is not an acceptable solution. I tried calling the store 10 plus times and could not get any answer. Could not leave message system kept disconnecting. Called the 1800 number and they Also could not reach store . I filed formal complaint against manager. She also promised me to Email me names and addresses of her district manager this was not done. We drove to the store directly only to find manager casually talking to the mechanics and laughing socializing etc. and not doing her job. We were able to talk to her finally and we took our car to the Audi Dealer to have the correct windshield placed. TERRIBLE SERVICE TERRIBLE ATTITUTE WOULD NEVER EVER USE THEM AGAIN. She suggested I call my insurance company to get a loaner since they do not provide I lodged a formal complaint against the store manager and quality of service I received.
