The staff was nice. Place doesn't look like anything advertised. It smelled terrible mixed with chemicals. Room was disgusting. Had blood stains on the walls. Doors were falling apart. I was in there for 5 min then walked oit. I still haven't gotten a refund.

    Lobby.

Stayed here 9/3/25 , the lobby is very nice the water fall thing upon entry was enjoyable they also had fresh lemon/cucumber water & 24hr coffee bar which i frequented. The pool is huge for a hotel, probably one of the best hotel pools. The Interior has wood paneling throughout which transforms the feeling. It goes up to 8ft deep which I found interesting, most hotels only have 5ft, jumping into 8ft was so refreshing. The pool has towels available as well. The gym is located in the lower lobby and has a slight mildewy/mold smell. I feel like that should be addressed and the lower lobby should be transformed it feels very outdated and random. The gym has a few cardio machines however the peloton bike wasn't connected to wifi, and wouldn't work. The leg curl/extension machine also is incredibly rusty. The cables, chest press, and treadmills were fine however. They provide cold bottled water and towels there as well. The room itself is big for for the price , very spacious and has a good amount of storage. Upon walking in, I was uncomfortable by how warm the room was. It felt muggy. When i turned the ac on, it took about 15 minutes for it to feel better. There is a fridge, microwave, and coffee bar. The room is just outdated, it felt clean- but old. The wall paper is peeling, and the bathroom is outrageously small. The water pressure in the shower was also abysmal and it took a minute to warm up. It felt like 2010 in the room, which i had a love hate relationship with. Once we were settled, we were comfy. The location of this hotel is great. The view was fine. The bed was comfortable i slept nice, however the pillows are extremely soft. No bed bugs, nothing unpleasant in the bed. No stains, no smell. The restaurant, was 10/10. It was cutely decorated for fall, the waiter was kind, the food and drinks were solid. The breakfast buffet was solid. It had pancake machine, bagels toast etc, yogurt parfait bar with fruit and granola , fried eggs, sausage, oatmeal, cereal bar, home fries, and breakfast tortilla station. Very expansive, I was very satisfied. Overall the hotel from me gets a 6.5/10 , if you need a quick, cheap, decent weekend getaway - this is it. Its just that for 100 more bucks, you could get something way more modern.

    The lobby

The room service was nice, the room was well made game with Dove soaps and gave you anything you need like a comb or even toothbrush and toothpaste. They also have breakfast and provides hot breakfast and beverages.

On hold and customer service at front desk refused to help because hotel was booked from third party.

The person behind the desk was not helpful at all. My company book my room. Selected the wrong day. Called Expedia to corrected it Expedia corrected it at their end. But hotel refused to let me in a room. I showed them the email screenshots and all. They made me wait outside the lobby until I can get it resorted. On hold with Expedia for about 2 hours and the personnel behind the counter still refused to make my life earlier.

So if you've ever had a nice chocolate on your pillow in a fancy hotel then keep reading As we arrived for our room we were informed the room we booked only one hour before was unavailable, darn No king size bed big fridge bigger TV balcony etc.... I was ushered into a small quaint double room A double is a fancy word for full size I ran into bathroom after the drive only to find no towels in the room Atleast the toilet paper was around. As I began to place bottled waters into the fridge my fiance informs me what's with the lobster Well see picture It's a usual 2star peeling paint wallpaper falling down the Buick of the hotel group it's ugly dirty but still runs After contactin the hotel to speak with management I've decided to persue legal actions I'll be reporting to credit card company you can't get away with deceptive business practices

Bed bug bites from Best Western Waltham

Bed bugs!!! Hotel has bed bugs. I stayed in Room 317 on Feb 1st, 2024. My sheets had a blood stain on them too. I will never stay here again! Management is very unresponsive and does not care. I have yet to get a refund for my stay after leaving several voicemails. When I did reach a manager, he said they were carpet beetles. Yeah right! Something bit my arm three times in a section. This hotel is gross!

    Dirty toilet

This is one of the dirtiest and least maintained hotels I've ever stayed in. I had to move my room twice. The staff working behind the front desk are super friendly and do their best to accommodate, but this property is seriously in need of a gut job. The first room wasn't clean. The toilet seat was dirty. There was visible skid marks. I was appalled. Nothing was wiped down either. I was moved to a second room which was also dirty. Nothing was wiped down but the worst part was how moldy the room felt and smelled. There was visible mold in the AC wall unit vents which I wiped down myself. There was mold on the walls. Every breath felt like I was breathing in musty air. I could not sleep. The next day I was moved to another (third) room. It was the best out of the other two however it still felt pretty gross. The entire property and rooms a have a terrible musk to it. The carpet was dirty. There was a mystery bar straw next to my bed and the door had fingerprints next to the lock which resembled blood. There was also no hot water twice. I came back from this trip with an upper respiratory infection. The air is not cleaning this property and I'm not sure how they are in business. Again, the staff behind the front desk were very understanding and did their best to find a clean room, however they all seem to have problems. I would never stay here again. The salmon at the hotel restaurant also made me sick. Two stars only because the staff was understanding and tried to accommodate.

Nice location. Very safe. Bed was more on the firm side, and the pillows were super soft... after about 5 min your head sinks in and you have to fluff it... Overall not a bad stay. It was very quiet. Did not try the pool but it looked very clean and new. The hotel had a bar and restaurant that closes at 1 am. The hotel is right off 95 so it's convenient for traveling, which I was doing.

The property has that signature Westin scent in the air. The building is in good shape, and has a nice atrium that upper floors can look onto from the hallways above. The fitness center was pretty good. Decent cardio options. Maybe a bit anemic on the strength training, with only a cable machine, some kettle bells, and dumbbells that only went up to 50 lbs. There's a pool next to the fitness center, as a nice bonus. My one gripe was with the hotel restaurant/bar. I stopped by for a drink at the end of the night, and was a bit disappointed. The old fashioned was okay, but the coordination between the bar and the kitchen (physically separated by the layout) was off. It took 20+ minutes to get a plate of steamed edamame out, only after a gentle reminder. And when it came, the edamame had been steamed to mush. No firmness left, and the pods were falling apart to the touch. Good overall property and quality rooms; maybe skip the restaurant.

The room itself was fine--clean and comfortable enough, nothing special but no major issues either. The biggest disappointment was the breakfast. It cost $26, which is quite high, but the quality was honestly very poor and not worth the price at all. I expected much better from a hotel like this. Another thing that stood out was the lack of basic amenities. Items like a toothbrush and other essentials were not provided unless we asked for them, which felt inconvenient and below standard. Overall, not a terrible stay, but definitely not great value for the money. Price might look good, but the quality doesn't match.

I arrived right around 5 PM in the middle of the week and there was only one person stocking the in-house store and handling check-ins. I could tell she was very busy, probably tired (rightfully so), but very professional and kind. She handed me a little welcome bag that contained two bottles of filtered water and a helpful information sheet. She promptly shared with me the Wi-Fi access information, which I greatly appreciated. Took the elevator up to my room and was pleased to find that the carpeting in the hallway was very thick, and that only half of the guestroom was carpeted. I like having a hard floor, however, the carpeting, draperies, and bedding all were in great condition. The microwave was small, but adequate for my needs, and the mini fridge was just as good. I really enjoyed the Crabtree & Evelyn toiletries they had, but noted that they didn't have the standard guest items like Q-tips. Almost had a meltdown in the morning when I thought I couldn't get the Keurig machine to work (lol), but it just had a little bit of a delay. The coffee was not Keurig, and was just OK, but it served its purpose (caffeine). I was disappointed that I did didn't see any recycling receptacles, so I collected my things in a brown paper bag and hoped they might be recycled. Check-in and checkout we're very easy using my digital key. Unfortunately, I was assigned the room right next to the elevator, so I could hear it rumbling with the doors slamming most of the evening and beginning again around 5 AM, but it did stop during the night, and it's not their fault. It's a hotel, and that happens. I would stay at this property again.

We literally had to spray the entire room with Lysol just to get the smell and the bacteria out of that room I don't know what the last guess did in the room but nothing would surprise me considering we found used condums inside the bed pull out couch we Lysol sprayed that couch bed 3 times just to be safe. The bathroom was not so great either the vent fan didn't even work it was literally painted over the despite multiple requests maintenance just completely ignored us. At some point during our stay they started doing renovations to the rooms which included replacing the tvs we didn't know when they were coming to our room, we went out one day and came back to a new tv which I did not care for because the color was much worse than the old one was, and also my credit card was stolen they also did not notify us with a 24 hour notice they were coming to our room to switch out the tv, my mother is a stage 4 cancer patient we were sent here by the American cancer society which I don't understand why they are sending cancer patients here it is not the proper hotel for cancer patients at all they can't even keep the place clean the hallway literally went weeks without being vacuumed, I saw a cleaning lady sweep out a room full of dirt into the hallway and just left it there, I mentioned it to the manager among other complaints but she didn't seem to care about anything but money she even messed up our bill a few times some how. There was literally a room called trash room with a room just full of smelly trash and we also found trash in the back door hallway just sitting there a long with some drug attics sitting outside the door at night and the next morning I was taking my own trash out from our room and saw a used needle sitting outside the exterior door good thing I was looking and didn't step on it. They also went days without maintaining the trash in the front lobby and outside the front entrance both cans were just sitting there with trash overflowing to the ground. We paid thousands of dollars to stay there but yet they can't keep the place clean, no one is barely at the desk at all times, laundry for the bedding wasn't being done so we had to wait all day to extchange our bedding, because the overnight guy doesn't do his job, the housekeeper doesn't do her job she is just plain lazy. What the heck are we even paying for if nothing is being done. I am demanding all of my money back because they do not deserve it that place is a complete dump and screw that Genral Manager Chester for saying he didn't give a shit about my Mom having cancer that is completely out of line and unnecessary and American Cancer society needs to end this partnership with this location. I hope I get all my money back!
