For about $150 a night this is a good choice for an economical place in the Boston area right off I95. We had free parking and free breakfast. A/C and heat thermometer was in Celsius. Only one washcloth but three towels in room.

Maybe 2.5 stars? But I averaged up because of the great front desk staff. Good: - Nice bones and space - Good staff (especially Dorothy at the front desk) - Price - Location Bad: - Housekeeping. No coffee in the room, stained sheets and carpet, trash in closet - Dishwasher was unbolted and fell out when we went to load it

A solid 3-star place to stay. Rooms are basic, with comfortable beds. Bathrooms seemed remodeled with pretty/comfortably spacious showers. Looks like some rooms have kitchenettes but mine was just a single room, and still came with a mini fridge and coffee maker. The breakfast was a big surprise in the best of ways: so many options and actually some real food (which I never expect at this kind of place with their corn syrup jellies and scary hard boiled eggs). The oatmeal was delicious with nice toppings! They had a rotation of warm foods, like waffles, pancakes and eggs (that probably came out of a box but still - hey! not to be taken for granted!). The coffee was good and the dining area was pleasant. I'd get tired of it after more than maybe three days but it's a fine place to stay if you need to be somewhere nearby. Definitely nothing to get excited about in the "yay- we are staying at a hotel!" sense but totally fine, clean, comfortable, pleasant. Staff were all very nice.

Not much to write about at a standard off-highway type hotel - but for anyone considering booking here, my stay was great, quiet, and the upgrade to the 2bdrm suite certainly didn't hurt! Check in was friendly, so was the bartender at the small bar they have. Breakfast looked standard and the splash pool outdoor is a nice touch but likely used more for kids than adults. Overall - would stay again.

If I could give this location a zero I would. Walking into the building i was immediately shocked by the tremendously dirty lobby and a horrible smell. hoping to give the place a chance I walked into my room. Way smaller than expected with no blankets for pull out bed. Sticky floors, half way connected toilet paper holders, duck tape on a place in the floor. The ice maker does not work and pool had no clean towels. Staff at bar was incredibly rude and kept giving dirty looks. I will never go to this location ever again and I hope this review leads others to know that besides the cheap prices this hotel is an absolute nightmare.

    Complimentary breakfast area.

This hotel is fabulous!! It has a kitchenette, separate living room and bedroom area, vanity with sink is separate from the bathroom. Although, the bathroom is pretty small, everything else is spacious. The staff is wecolming and very accommodating. The parking is accessible on both sides of the building. The hotel itself is located within walking distance of some eating establishment. Ideal for a nice and quiet getaway.

The room itself was fine--clean and comfortable enough, nothing special but no major issues either. The biggest disappointment was the breakfast. It cost $26, which is quite high, but the quality was honestly very poor and not worth the price at all. I expected much better from a hotel like this. Another thing that stood out was the lack of basic amenities. Items like a toothbrush and other essentials were not provided unless we asked for them, which felt inconvenient and below standard. Overall, not a terrible stay, but definitely not great value for the money. Price might look good, but the quality doesn't match.

The property has that signature Westin scent in the air. The building is in good shape, and has a nice atrium that upper floors can look onto from the hallways above. The fitness center was pretty good. Decent cardio options. Maybe a bit anemic on the strength training, with only a cable machine, some kettle bells, and dumbbells that only went up to 50 lbs. There's a pool next to the fitness center, as a nice bonus. My one gripe was with the hotel restaurant/bar. I stopped by for a drink at the end of the night, and was a bit disappointed. The old fashioned was okay, but the coordination between the bar and the kitchen (physically separated by the layout) was off. It took 20+ minutes to get a plate of steamed edamame out, only after a gentle reminder. And when it came, the edamame had been steamed to mush. No firmness left, and the pods were falling apart to the touch. Good overall property and quality rooms; maybe skip the restaurant.

I stayed in room 506 or was it 508 and had an early appointment in cardiology at MGH. I put the hang tag on the door saying do not disturb and left a few items in the room. My plan was to return brush my teeth and shower gather my remaining belongings and go home. However, when I return to my room, in spite of the hangtag, my room have been cleaned my electric toothbrush, the items in the refrigerator and a few other things were gone. It was close to departure time, but enough time to accomplish that. I went downstairs to the checkout desk and waited for a manager to come from another area at that point I explained the circumstances. She contacted the person in charge of Housekeeping. Apparently she told me when it looks like the person is gone. Housekeeping goes in and does cleaning early in spite of the hangtag which is your way of assuring privacy. At least I thought that was the way Hampton in worked Housekeeping manager was able to find the person who had cleaned the unit. Happily all items were returned in about 15 minutes time and nothing was missing unfortunately nothing that had critical information. Because I was so delayed, I arrived too late to join my girlfriend for a planned luncheon. In the past, I thought Hampton inn were reliable. I would like some kind of compensation and would like to be sure that this review is posted so that other travelers are aware of this Hampton practice of violating privacy, even when adequate notification is given. They had plenty of parking out front and the entire area looks very nice and safe. My room was small but decent. Perfect for a comfortable nights stay. Everything looked brand new. I loved the fact that at this location you can adjust the air to be constant for those that like to sleep with a fan on. I gotta say this had to be one of the most comfortable beds and pillows and the quietest hotel stay I ever had. I was very impressed. They have a nice gym and also a laundry facility which is kinda rare to find. They have a breakfast buffet that is free. The coffee was ok and I liked the eggs the best. The sausage was ok but for free you can't complain. They also had a pancake maker machine. Never seen that before and also had all kinds of cereal and pastries, bagels etc...... I would give this place a perfect 5 star rating and would not hesitate to come here again.

Water pressure in the shower was excellent, as was the piping hot nature of the water. As for the breakfast, while I didn't partake, it seemed adequate. Beyond these, refinement in various areas is needed: Mattress: Clearly showing its age and due for replacement. There was a prominent slant to the side that I've not encountered in dozens of hotel stays. I slept okay, but it could have been better, Service: The person checking me in was extremely kind, welcoming, and a total professional. The person checking me out, however, had a bit of "I don't really want to be here" in her attitude. Understandable, but not great. Housekeeping: This should have been daily, but the team apparently missed my room. Coming back after being out past midnight to find the bed hadn't been made was less than fun. Hockey in the shower: While there is a mat in the bath, as the soap ran towards the drain it became terrifyingly slippery. Add the lack of a grab bar, and I showered in terror of being wheeled out naked by EMTs. Sorry for putting that image in your mind. It didn't help things that the drain was slow. Bathroom door: the gap between the door and door frame was such that a mild pull would open a locked door. Non-issue when staying alone, but the fact remains. Bathtub: showing its age, as some of the glaze had worn off. Alarm clock: Kaput. Noise: There was no noise coming from the street. However, despite being on the top floor, there were occasional loud thumps! These were few and far between, but if you're not in the same room, YMMV.

Now that I've had more travel experience, I can confidently say this hotel is a hidden gem in Waltham. The apartment-style rooms are fantastic--spacious, clean, and equipped with full kitchens, comfy seating areas, and all the essentials. It's more like staying in a cozy apartment than a standard hotel, which makes solo trips, family visits, or longer stays feel effortless. The service is genuinely warm and welcoming, and the breakfast is a standout--custom-made eggs cooked to order and expertly crafted coffee that beats any run-of-the-mill hotel fare. The location is great too--close enough to Brandeis University for visiting students, but also easy to explore Waltham's Moody Street for restaurants, cafés, and a little local charm. The area felt safe and walkable, and for outdoor enthusiasts, you can hop on nearby trails along the Charles River or Mass Central Rail Trail for some scenic exercise. We literally had to spray the entire room with Lysol just to get the smell and the bacteria out of that room I don't know what the last guess did in the room but nothing would surprise me considering we found used condums inside the bed pull out couch we Lysol sprayed that couch bed 3 times just to be safe. The bathroom was not so great either the vent fan didn't even work it was literally painted over the despite multiple requests maintenance just completely ignored us. At some point during our stay they started doing renovations to the rooms which included replacing the tvs we didn't know when they were coming to our room, we went out one day and came back to a new tv which I did not care for because the color was much worse than the old one was, and also my credit card was stolen they also did not notify us with a 24 hour notice they were coming to our room to switch out the tv, my mother is a stage 4 cancer patient we were sent here by the American cancer society which I don't understand why they are sending cancer patients here it is not the proper hotel for cancer patients at all they can't even keep the place clean the hallway literally went weeks without being vacuumed, I saw a cleaning lady sweep out a room full of dirt into the hallway and just left it there, I mentioned it to the manager among other complaints but she didn't seem to care about anything but money she even messed up our bill a few times some how. There was literally a room called trash room with a room just full of smelly trash and we also found trash in the back door hallway just sitting there a long with some drug attics sitting outside the door at night and the next morning I was taking my own trash out from our room and saw a used needle sitting outside the exterior door good thing I was looking and didn't step on it. They also went days without maintaining the trash in the front lobby and outside the front entrance both cans were just sitting there with trash overflowing to the ground. We paid thousands of dollars to stay there but yet they can't keep the place clean, no one is barely at the desk at all times, laundry for the bedding wasn't being done so we had to wait all day to extchange our bedding, because the overnight guy doesn't do his job, the housekeeper doesn't do her job she is just plain lazy. What the heck are we even paying for if nothing is being done. I am demanding all of my money back because they do not deserve it that place is a complete dump and screw that Genral Manager Chester for saying he didn't give a shit about my Mom having cancer that is completely out of line and unnecessary and American Cancer society needs to end this partnership with this location.
