Hands down they have the best chicken fingers in Birmingham. Probably in the state. Maybe even the south. I have been eating here for years ( at least 5) and I only know of one change in ownership and in cooks. How's that for consistency? Now back to those delightful chicken fingers. They have always been deliciously hand breaded, seasoned and fried to perfection. They come with a sweet honey mustard sauce (store bought from Sam's Club), but the chicken fingers are so good that they can stand on their own without sauce. I've heard their flavored wings and whole wings are great too, but I'm a chicken finger fanatic and when I find some good ones, I stick to those. The burgers, and Philly cheesesteaks are good too, and the Cajun ranch fries are a plus when you just want to be down right greasy. My favorite part of this place is that the owner, Hanh, gives back to the local schools through food donations. That alone will keep me coming back as a customer. If you're ever in the neighborhood or looking for the best chicken fingers this side of Vulcan, give Best Wings a try.

Favorite wing spot for sure. Amazing service and delicious meals. The owner is as nice as can be and I will continue to eat here all the time

This place is a hole in the wall, but very good. We were driving thru on our way to Mobile and picked up a family member at the airport. We stopped to get gas and were discussing where to eat. We noticed the variety of menu options displayed in the window and decidedly chance it. It's not a "cleanest" of neighborhoods and there was a panhandler working the gas station. There's a constant flow of people in and out of this restaurant. The service is good. The portions were huge. The prices are very reasonable. We all got a different burger and had egg rolls as appetizers. So very good, the amount of toppings is exactly what you would want on a good burger. I would come back to this little restaurant again if I had the chance.

VERY GOOD wings! And koolaid! Try the Cajun ranch all flats! Red koolaid for sure! Call it in because the line WILL be long. Everything is really fresh!

They serve breakfast all day and the lunch/dinner specials are great. It's a hole in the wall place but it works. There is no dining area perse so it best to get take out. The gentlemen there were nice and courteous and offered their best seller which is the fat mama burger which is two ground 1/4lbs chuck patties, bacon, shrimp, provolone cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, ketchup, mayo, and mustard. It was delicious! The size of it was monstrous! It was magnificent! I had to cancel my order of fries! Lol They have beverages here but not on tap; everything is in a can. That's a good thing in my opinion. The prices of everything is very reasonable and manageable. The service is top notch but what I enjoyed the most was the conversation and recommendation as this was my first, but not last, time visiting. I'm so mad I'm just now trying them. I'll be trying their breakfast next time because I saw a plate the owner was making and it made my mouth water like a Doberman Pinscher finally getting that bone. They accept cash, debit, and credit, the latter via square and they'll email or text you a receipt if needed. Very convenient and practical. They also do catering so if you have a function coming up, give them a call. All in all, this was a great first time experience. Great recommendations, quick food service, awesome owner and cook, and worthy of service. Visit these guys ASAP!

Parking is primarily street parking in the area, but there is also a public parking deck nearby. I'm unsure what the current cost is for the deck, but it's worth knowing if you're visiting during a busier time. I ordered the fish tacos with black beans and chose the cheese grits as my second side. Everything tasted fresh and had lots of flavor. The real star of the meal, though, was the sweet potato cake. It was incredibly moist and delicious. Honestly, I could've eaten four of them without shame or hesitation. My colleagues ordered burgers and fries. They both really enjoyed their burgers, but neither cared much for the fries. They had also requested a couple additional items after the food arrived, but those items never made it to the table. The decor is bright and fun, though it didn't quite seem to match the style of food being served. Just my personal observation. They also have a robot that helps deliver the food alongside the servers, which felt a little unexpected for the casual atmosphere and southern comfort food vibe. They were fairly busy since it was lunchtime on a Friday, but the wait really wasn't bad at all. Would I go back? Yes. Was it my absolute favorite? No. But there were definitely things I enjoyed, especially that sweet potato cake that nearly made me consider ordering dessert first next time.

We ordered the hot chicken sandwich with a side of coleslaw, and both were packed with flavor. The slaw was light, crisp, and not overloaded with mayo, with just a slight peppery kick that made it incredibly tasty. The hot chicken sandwich itself wasn't overwhelmingly spicy, but it was finger-licking good -- juicy, well-seasoned, and satisfying down to the last crumb. We truly enjoyed every bite. The ambience with its bright green, purple and white colors added to the experience. The restaurant was lively and full of people, which is always a good sign. I also caught glimpses of other patrons' dishes, and everything coming out of the kitchen looked just as delicious as what we ordered. Service was friendly and welcoming, which made the visit even better. Staff members seemed genuinely happy to be there and kept things moving smoothly. The location is right in the heart of downtown Bhama, so parking is metered street parking, but the prices were reasonable and worth it for the quality and uniqueness of the food. Overall, this spot delivered on food, atmosphere, and service. Big thumbs up from me -- I'll definitely be back!

That wasn't immediately obvious from many of the reviews I read beforehand, so don't let the hotel location deter you--this is a destination restaurant in its own right. I ordered the braised short rib (without the grits), and it was outstanding. The meat was incredibly tender, packed with flavor, and cooked to perfection. It easily ranks among the better short rib dishes I've had. The service was equally impressive. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and struck the perfect balance of being available without hovering. The dining room has an upscale yet comfortable atmosphere that makes it just as suitable for a business dinner as it is for a date night or special occasion. If you're visiting downtown Birmingham--or staying at the Redmont--don't overlook Harvest just because it's inside a hotel. It's proof that hotel restaurants can absolutely compete with the city's standalone dining scene. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in Birmingham.
