We had a fabulous dinner here! The service was so amazing and there were so many things to choose from on the menu it was hard to decide. We ordered 3 appetizers and shared an entree. Starting with oysters, duck and the quail then we got the Seafood cioppino as our entree. All were so phenomenal the only comment is the duck was a little too salty for our taste.

We love the ambiance, such a relaxed vibe. Gentle and easy service. We enjoyed the fried okra, baked oysters, and watermelon w/feta salad to start. The halibut was delicious and filled with flavor. The steak was savory and tender. Perfect choice for celebrations! There's something on the menu for every palate.

This place has nice ambience. Liked it from entrance. The room and tables are really nice. There was a separate room for group events which looked nice. This restaurant is upscale. We were greeted on entry and the waiter that attended to us was first class. I ordered the pork chop and I am glad that I did. The sides were great. Not just saying that. The cream corn was smooth. The broccoli was definitely tasty. The pork chop was moist and had a perfect crust on it. Seriously, I would put that chop up against and pork chop I had every had, close to mine lol. My wife has a salad snd enjoyed it as well. Parking was available in front. This was my birthday outing and I received a complimentary treat.

We sat by the fireplace, it was very nice. We ordered the quail appetizer - I have never had quail, but it was good! For entrees, I got the Red Snapper with corn grits, green beans, and topped with crawfish tails. It was amazing! The top was a little crispy; it was cooked perfectly. The corn grits and green beans were delicious. He got the Beef Tenderloin with potatoes, asparagus and mushrooms. He ordered it medium rare and it was excellent. Our waiter, Phillip, gave great recommendations and was very attentive and helpful. We finished it off with the bread pudding with caramel & chocolate with strawberries - absolutely amazing. Not a single thing was average/mediocre, everything was excellent. Will definitely be going back!

Such good food and great foods paired with one another to bring excellent taste. The cheese grits are by far the best grits I've had before. They are made with a few different cheese and are so good. The service is amazing and all the waiters and waitresses are so friendly and nice. Definitely recommend this place for when you want to treat yourself to a nice meal.

The chicken had flavor, it was cooked well, and it did not feel heavy at all. The sides were fresh and balanced, and everything tasted like real food instead of something overly seasoned or oily. I am pretty picky, so finding a place where I genuinely like the whole plate is rare. The inside has a clean and calm vibe, which I love. It is bright and feels welcoming without being loud or chaotic. I dined in, and the service was quick and friendly. They also make it really easy to spot vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options, which is helpful for people who want something lighter or have specific preferences. Overall, I would definitely come back. It is simple, fresh, and dependable, and the food actually tastes good without trying to be fancy. My husband ordered the Rueben sandwich and I ordered the flounder cake plate. I ordered the chicken poppers plate for my kids to share. After we sat down, requested a high chair and got our drinks, we were informed that flounder cakes were out. I adjusted to the spice rubbed chicken but there was no price refund or any type of service recovery. The food arrived in two batches. I asked for a non breakable plate for my one year old and was pleasantly surprised by a kids plate. The chicken (both poppers and spice rubbed) was very dry. I see now why every plate comes with a sauce. The best thing was the fried green tomatoes and pastry arts cake in a cup $4 they sell. Bathrooms have a big toilet and a small kids toilet along with a changing table.

High ceilings and exposed brick are a few of the ways to my heart. If you've seen a post about this place, you've probably seen a picture of the crackly round, artistic dish and wondered what it was. There are dumplings on the underside of it and you break each one off of the crackly part to enjoy. We did enjoy these but I would've loved a soy sauce to dip them in. They came with chili crunch, peanuts, and green onions but I wanted an actual sauce. They were very standard tasting dumplings and there was nothing extraordinary about them unfortunately. As always, we'd looked at the menu beforehand and decided what we wanted. It does state on their website that their menus can change due to freshness and availability. But we'd both decided on an app and entree we wanted only to get there and have none of them on the menu. I do appreciate a rotating menu to accommodate local items, but I would also love for those to be updated on a regular basis. So after rerouting, we decided on the chicken skewers as another app with the dumplings. These were chargrilled, flavorful, and had a nice crust on them. I got shrimp fried rice and Julia got spicy beef noodles. It was fine but I wish the shrimp wouldn't have been cut up. It felt like they chopped them up in order to not put as many in the dish. At $25 for this, I'd like whole shrimp please. There were a few pieces of raw spinach with pepper on the top. I would've loved a sauce of some kind. I would've preferred shrimp hibachi with fried rice from a Japanese place that included vegetables and sauces. This was not *bad* there was just SO much room for improvement. We both agreed that nothing was awful, but for these prices and the hype, we expected more. Our waitress was super friendly. Bonus points because they had match boxes at the host stand! There was a paid parking lot diagonal from the restaurant, so we had to walk through an intersection to get there. There are some spots up front if you can snag one. Overall, we enjoyed our time here but won't be sprinting back.

I was taken here for a work outing…read moreand, honestly, as someone who's pretty simple with food and doesn't eat fancy food often, I didn't have high expectations when I looked at the menu beforehand. I was horribly mistaken. Everything I tried was absolutely incredible. For appetizers, I tried the BBQ miso chicken, seeded yeast rolls, and burrata. The BBQ miso chicken was tender thigh meat served on a skewer and topped with peanuts (so definitely something to be aware of if you have an allergy). It also came with a few spicy pickles that were delicious. The seeded yeast rolls were perfectly baked; light, airy, and served with cane syrup whipped butter. That butter was out of this world phenomenal. I could have eaten it by itself! For dinner, I had the sweet corn ravioli. It came in a large bowl with A LOT of rich, creamy sauce. There was so much sauce that I actually asked for a spoon and basically ate it like soup. Not a complaint whatsoever because it was absolutely delicious. The only letdown for me was dessert. I was really looking forward to an authentic Southern banana pudding, but there was an unexpected peanut flavor, not what I was expecting at all. I was hoping for more of that classic banana-and-vanilla flavor. The ambiance was also really cool-dark, moody, and almost gave me an Alice in Wonderland kind of feel. Our server was 10/10, and the manager stopped by several times to check on us. They were also incredibly accommodating to a coworker with food allergies, which I really appreciated. Overall, this place completely exceeded my expectations. I went in thinking I probably wouldn't find much I liked and left genuinely impressed. Definitely a memorable meal!

Both were delicious. The shrimp was fresh and cold. The chicken was unique as it had peanuts with the sauce. I had the crispy flounder sandwich with fries and my friend ordered the Panzanella salad with shrimp. The fish was hot and crispy and well seasoned.
