hot link sausage burrito and choco viet coffee
    Maricel S.

Everything here is so good! I always get the hot link sausage burrito and the choco viet coffee. I also bring a dozen donuts to family get togethers and they all love how fluffy the donuts are!

Some of the many iced drinks. They offer non dairy too!

Where do I even begin? Best World Donuts has been my neighborhood donut shop for over 20 years. It was the closest mom-and-pop spot to my home, and over time it became so much more than just a place to grab a donut. I grew to know the original owners, Shirley and Sane...truly two of the sweetest, hardest-working people I've ever met. I remember when their kids were little and they would bring them to the shop, and how we'd chat about anything and everything while they worked. Those memories still mean a lot to me. Christmas of 2024 was their last Christmas behind the counter. They retired and sold the business, and I wasn't sure what to expect after that. At first, I didn't recognize the shop anymore. The donuts were different, the atmosphere had changed, and the familiar conversations were gone. Honestly, I wasn't convinced the new chapter would last. But to my surprise...and now my genuine appreciation...the new owners, a young couple, have breathed fresh life into this place. They've taken it in a new, exciting direction, and I've come to admire the energy and creativity they've brought with them. They've added a full breakfast menu, a variety of breakfast sandwiches, and over 20 iced drinks...including all the trendy matcha creations. And let me tell you: their matcha is shockingly good. I've had matcha from specialty shops all over, but the Matcha Cloud here is a solid 10/10. I bought my mom a Banana Matcha, and the look on her face after the first sip said it all...she said it was the best matcha she's ever had. They even offer mobile ordering now, which is great if you like to grab and go. As for the donuts...they're good, just not quite the same as they were in the past. But everything else they're building here makes me believe this place is going somewhere special. After all these years, I'm happy to say I'm still rooting for Best World Donuts. And I think the best is yet to come.

Double matcha was great, and the breakfast sandwich was as well. I love how thick the matcha foam is on top. Atmosphere was great, not a lot of parking though. The ladies that helped us were very nice, and the place was clean and quiet.

Banana Matcha and Vietnamese Coffee Cloud

Came here to try their drinks because it looked so good via pictures, they did not disappoint! I got the Vietnamese Coffee Cloud and Banana Matcha, both really good. Vietnamese coffee was nice and strong, just like it should be and was not bitter! Banana Matcha had great banana and matcha flavor, well balanced. Service was pretty quick, I also ordered the sausage, egg croissant along with the hot link burrito. Both food items were good however the salsa for the burrito was lacking per my husband. Overall, I would go back, just the parking is a little bit tough, super small strip mall with tight parking.

there was a lot of little gnats on a lot of the donuts i usually love this place but will not be coming back after this :(

there was a lot of gnats all over the donuts flying around it totally grossed me out i usually love coming here but won't he's after today!

seriously one of the best donuts & best matcha in the world! I got the tiramisu matcha drink and it was SO GOOD. I'm definitely going to be a regular here!

Nice location with a small parking lot but also had street parking. We parked without any issues. The shop had a cozy vibe. Clean, bright, and welcoming. You can smell fresh coffee and pastries in walking in. A few tables were available for seating, and everything felt casual and relaxed, good for a quick bite or grabbing breakfast to go. Very friendly young man working the counter. He gave great recommendations and asked if we wanted desired toppings on our sandwiches. He recommended the Iced Vietnamese Coffee Cloud which was delicious! Donuts: chocolate bar and maple bar. No complaints. Good airy donuts. Food: 16. Sausage English Muffin A2. Cold Cut Turkey Croissant A5. Tuna Salad Sandwich on Croissant Everything tasted delicious and fresh. Glad I listened to the other yelpers and tried this place. They had a steady stream of customers coming in and out. Seemed like regulars, which is always a good sign.

    lots of options!

Fresh pillowy and sweet donuts and solid matcha here at Best World Donuts! Friends and family have told me that I need to come try this spot and I'm so glad they did! Everything was delicious and the matcha berries drink was perfect! Service was very warm and friendly. Highly recommend this spot!

Even though I've lived in the city for 20 years, I've never stopped at this donut location not a big deal. Haven't tried to replace in town.. but what I have notice is that the normally have long lines of people early in the morning getting their donuts, coffees, and sandwiches, blah blah blah. so I was curious and decided to try a doughnut. My mistake was trying a cinnamon roll at a new place. I have one particular place that I appreciate the cinnamon rolls more so because they're cooked thoroughly with no mushiness in the middle. The other donuts didn't look appealing. Maybe because it's the weekend and you kinda get what you get on the weekends. My cinnamon roll was mushy in the middle and I won't write them off. Maybe next time I will try a different donut and leave the cinnamon rolls alone.

The banana matcha from this donut shop was so good! I never thought I'd enjoy a banana-flavored drink, but this one changed my mind. If you're in the area, definitely stop by for their donuts and coffee/matcha! It's a Khmer-owned shop (one of the many!) with a modern vibe, creative drink menu, and great prices; this $6 matcha is a steal, especially with that cream top! The customer service is also .

Whole in the wall place in a small shopping center. Parking is limited, especially during peak hours in the day. Ordered the banana matcha and hot Vietnamese coffee. For my taste they were good. Girl that helped us as very nice , she greeted with a smile and very polite. Maintenance work was being done during my visit so it was a little noisy. It seems this spot is a hit within the surrounding communities. Lots of ride share pick ups.

These really are the best donuts ever. I bought half a dozen for $10 and he through in a free one :) The shop also sells ice cream, coffee, smoothies, and sandwiches. They have a couple of tables to sit it and it was quiet when I went in around 7pm. The man was friendly and ready to serve.

This drink was good that id go back again! I wasn't expecting it to be $11 dollars so I would try another flavor because I think this specific drink only was pricier as it was more matcha but it's a good matcha taste not too strong or light and I love the color. They have two sizes but I'll definitely be back to try their many flavors as cold foam is a favorite with it comes to my drinks and they have many options of it.

I don't remember if he called it US DONUTS like it is nowadays, but that's what I remember about this spot growing up, so it already holds a lot of local nostalgia. As years gone by to this day, the newer owners through the years have pimped it out with different decors, ice creams, sandwiches, Lotto, etc.. It still feels like the old mixed in with a new school Asian-owned donut shops, minus the classic smoking inside by the owners and older folks like in the 80s. The parking is always in free abundance as it always has been before. The donuts themselves have actually improved because there's a little more variety along with the classics, plus their donuts taste wayyyy healthier and lighter while not losing flavor! Not as oily as it used to be by past owners! I personally love their crumb and blueberry donuts because they have that delicious texture that turns to fluffiness in the middle. Customer service has always been awesome. Nowadays, instead of an old lady or old man, you have a younger pretty lady helping you with your order. The place isn't too big or small, plus you it's cool to get a donut here after getting a Starbucks or some foods nearby in this same stripmall. It's like a perfect spot for some classic, homely desserts!

Fresh, they eat more like a pastry--super moist, rich without being heavy, and none of that dry crumble. Chocolate (Valrhona) is the one--deep, smooth, perfectly tender. The vegan strawberry matcha is a sleeper hit--the strawberry glaze smells like a field of ripe berries and actually makes you pause before the first bite, with the matcha keeping it grounded. They only had two raised that day, but both delivered. Vanilla was soft and airy, and the huckleberry had that bright tart-sweet glaze with zero fake flavor. Only note: don't over-order. Next day = noticeably more crumbly. Go, pick a few, eat them fresh. Clean plate club.

During my freebies birthday run yesterday, I was planning on going to Old Ferry Donut after picking up a boba next door, only to find the shop closed. \(`0´)/ Known for unique flavors & vibrant retro-pop 70s branding (cute hamster mascot with bold orange & brilliant blue colors; it's featured on 2-/4-donut boxes), this Korean-inspired premium donut shop originated in Seoul a decade ago before expanding to several S. CA locations, opening in Torrance a couple of years ago. OFD's donuts are popular for its rich creams & chewy dough; Butter Pistachio & Crème Brûlée are just 2 of their signature flavors. I was going through a donut phase when I initially stopped by Old Ferry Donut. Large windows let lots of light in, & once you step across the threshold, you're hit with a strong K-pop vibe & loud music. They even had a collab with SEVENTEEN last fall during their tour with 2 flavors: Marble Strawberry & Blue Coconut! Unlike the regular mom & pop's or commercialized donut shops, they don't offer a discounted 1/2 or full dozen box. After asking what's their most popular picks, I chose Butter Pistachio & Crème Brûlée, & added Lemon Poppyseed & Raspberry Ring for myself, Cookies & Cream & Boston Cream for the kiddos. Service was alright... I didn't need a sales pitch, but would like some info on the donuts to make an informed decision since they're at a premium price even though they're not "freshly made" (every hour or less) like SD&C just down the street. The Butter Pistachio is a major hit... fluffy & light, a slightly chewy yeasty donut stuffed with a mildly sweet whipped pistachio cream filling & topped with a salty-sweet buttery streusel... how can you not be addicted? And totally worth it! Crème Brûlée is also popular for its delicate, crackly caramelized sugar crust & airy brioche dough that's filled with a rich vanilla custard. Good flavor, but maybe on the older side? Since it's been sitting for awhile, it lost that fresh fluffy texture & was kinda dry. I really liked the Lemon Poppyseed; it's right up there with Butter Pistachio. The lemon glaze is just the right amount of sweet & tart, & the donut was fresh & fluffy! The Raspberry Ring is pretty good, matching that sweet & tart of Lemon Poppyseed, but I like the citrus zing of the latter more. What's different is the former has a raspberry jam filling in addition to a glaze & the latter is just a yeast donut with fruity glaze. Kids didn't say much about Cookies & Cream & Boston Cream... I figure you can't go wrong with these flavors. The filling might have been a bit much as I saw the cream oozing out of the donut & onto my LO's face & shirt. His sister was slightly better at containing the custard blob. LOL With premium prices, It's debatable if Old Ferry's donuts are worth it... quality, freshness, & size. Hmmm... I like them & their creative flavors, but they're a tad too sweet & not as "fresh" in comparison to SD&C. Sad to see Old Ferry Donut permanently gone from the South Bay, but they still have locations in San Gabriel & Buena Park if you're willing to take a drive.
