    Philly Cheesesteak

I'm so glad Inferno Kitchen has reopened in the South Bay (formerly known as Inferno Grill), they used to be my go to for desi-American cuisine. They reopened in a small strip mall, with limited parking but there is street parking available. The interior is a tad bit bland as they just opened but they have plenty of seating. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak, which was made to order with delicious thin cut steak, caramalized onions and pepper and smothered in provolone cheese. It was delicious, and had a nice kick with some of the peppers added in. My only drawback is it was a bit pricey for the portion size. Definitely worth a try if you're in the area.

Got the cheesesteak and a side of fries. Good soft roll. Nice gooeyness on the cheese. Beef was tender and flavorful. Fries were crispy and probably enough for 3 people. Service was very friendly.

Absolutely delicious! Decided to try this place on a Friday night & they definitely don't get enough credit. The food & service were quality and we will be back for sure!!

Had an amazing first experience at Inferno Kitchen Halal. Was greeted by a kind man who I'm assuming was an owner because he asked "how I heard about them". I live nearby and noticed the new business. They have a very large dining area which is very clean. I ordered the cheeseburger special to go, my goodness the ingredients tasted extremely fresh, the bun was super soft, the burger patty tasted like one I would make for myself at home, seasoning was popping out of it and not in an overpowering way at all, onions had that fresh and flavorful taste too. Generous amount of fries for the special as well. I'll be back soon and thank you Inferno!!

Inferno Kitchen is back in the South Bay, and I couldn't be happier. I tried their bun kebab and it hit all the right notes. The patty was flavorful and perfectly spiced, tucked into a soft bun with just the right amount of chutney and toppings to balance it out. It's that classic desi street-style comfort food with a fresh, made-to-order touch. The staff was friendly, the food came out hot, and even though the place is still settling in with its new space, it already feels like it's going to be my go-to spot again. If you're craving desi-American flavors, this place is a must-try.

Food was so delicious! I got the double cheeseburger, philly cheese steak, and tacos. It was amazingly seasoned, food stayed hot all the way. Literally right off the grill. The restaurant has very open seating and is really comfortable, service was excellent. Definitely will be returning Thanks

Cooked to perfection with a little seasoned heat, thin cut ribeye and all the works! Best Philly cheesesteak

Just dropped in and left absolutely amazed! I came to try the Philly cheesesteak, and wow -- Mr. Inferno really knows what he's doing. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and best of all, it's Halal. From the first bit to the last I enjoyed it. Thank you for a great meal and service was on point.

I was in Lomita and was looking for a place to grab coffee and pastries. While browsing Yelp, I was…read moresurprised to find out there was a Cream Pan nearby. I've always wanted to try their Orange County location but just never got around to it, so I was excited to finally give them a try. I walked in expecting it to be self-serve like 85 Degrees Bakery, but it's actually set up more like a donut shop or Porto's, where most of the pastries are displayed in a case and you tell the staff what you'd like. They do have a refrigerated self-serve section with sandwiches and onigiri, as well as a table with loaves of bread and buns. The ordering process caught me off guard because I usually like taking my time looking through all the pastries at bakeries. Since everything was behind the counter, I felt a little rushed with people waiting behind me. They have so many options that it can be a bit overwhelming. I also had to stop myself from ordering too much since I'm trying to cut back on carbs. Here's what I ordered: Hot Dog Bun - 4/5: Tasty with a soft, fluffy bun. I just wish it had a little more of that cheesy crust on top. Ham and Cheese Croissant - 3/5: My boyfriend ordered this and thought it was just okay. It was a little small for the price. Strawberry Cream Croissant - 5/5: They're known for this, and now I understand why. The pastry was light and flaky, the strawberries were sweet, and the custard was rich without being overly sweet. Spam Roll Onigiri - 4/5: I loved the egg, and it was really flavorful. It was served a bit cold, though. I think it would taste even better if it were kept under a heat lamp. Raisin Bun - 5/5: So soft and fluffy, with just the right amount of raisins. It was also a great value--six buns for only $4.20. Hot Vanilla Latte - 4/5: Strong with just a light sweetness. It was really good, but I think it could have been a little creamier. The prices were reasonable. I spent about $26 for everything, which I thought was a great deal. Customer service was excellent. Even though there was a line behind me, the staff never made me feel rushed while I decided what I wanted. The barista was especially friendly and even checked in afterward to ask if I liked my latte. If I'm ever back in the area, I would definitely come again.

The fried shrimp and fish completely lacked seasoning, the greens had absolutely no flavor, and the potato salad was far too sweet. While the manager (or owner) was very nice and patient when explaining the menu to my grandmother, the bartender was incredibly rude. I stood right in front of her waiting to be served, and she completely ignored me until I spoke up. When I asked about the to-go Hurricanes, she struggled to describe what was essentially an adult Capri-Sun pouch. When I pointed toward a container to clarify, she snapped at me with attitude, "No, that's a wine glass," even though I wasn't pointing anywhere near it. To make matters worse, a single to-go drink is over $20--at that price, I'd rather just buy a whole bottle.

The Reuben with corned beef and the Reuben with pastrami. Both plates come with your choice of a salad and pickles. I recommend the potato salad; it's my culinary guilty pleasure. Truthfully, I don't get that much a smoky taste from the pastrami, but it's still delicious. That corned beef is so wonderful, it's so tender and falls apart so easily upon a bite. Their soda menu is a very lowkey, unsung hero. I've tried soda brands you don't typically see in grocery stores. Their ginger ale hits the spot without fail each time. I think one drawback is that this place doesn't allow adjustments. I've personally never asked for any, but I can see how other customers might find that off-putting. I typically do a pick-up order vs. dining in, but when I do enjoy the sandwich in the restaurant - the service is super quick and cordial.
