Recently came to get a sweet treat and it was my first time. Everything was tasted fresh despite the fact it was late afternoon. Their lemon tart was to die for!

Love this Japanese bakery. Strawberry croissants, blueberry croissants, almond croissants and all of the croissants lol they're all delicious. The pastries always look fresh, the place is dangerous! Makes me want to buy one of everything. Tried an iced latte today, I thought it was good, wasn't too sweet. I think everything is reasonably priced. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Besides the food the place is spacious, I recommend coming early.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It can be a bit crowded but There is plenty of parking here, great place to catch up with a friend/s or read a book with coffee.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Staff is always friendly and on top of their game. Happy to have stumbled upon this place.

I was in Lomita and was looking for a place to grab coffee and pastries. While browsing Yelp, I was surprised to find out there was a Cream Pan nearby. I've always wanted to try their Orange County location but just never got around to it, so I was excited to finally give them a try. I walked in expecting it to be self-serve like 85 Degrees Bakery, but it's actually set up more like a donut shop or Porto's, where most of the pastries are displayed in a case and you tell the staff what you'd like. They do have a refrigerated self-serve section with sandwiches and onigiri, as well as a table with loaves of bread and buns. The ordering process caught me off guard because I usually like taking my time looking through all the pastries at bakeries. Since everything was behind the counter, I felt a little rushed with people waiting behind me. They have so many options that it can be a bit overwhelming. I also had to stop myself from ordering too much since I'm trying to cut back on carbs. Here's what I ordered: Hot Dog Bun - 4/5: Tasty with a soft, fluffy bun. I just wish it had a little more of that cheesy crust on top. Ham and Cheese Croissant - 3/5: My boyfriend ordered this and thought it was just okay. It was a little small for the price. Strawberry Cream Croissant - 5/5: They're known for this, and now I understand why. The pastry was light and flaky, the strawberries were sweet, and the custard was rich without being overly sweet. Spam Roll Onigiri - 4/5: I loved the egg, and it was really flavorful. It was served a bit cold, though. I think it would taste even better if it were kept under a heat lamp. Raisin Bun - 5/5: So soft and fluffy, with just the right amount of raisins. It was also a great value--six buns for only $4.20. Hot Vanilla Latte - 4/5: Strong with just a light sweetness. It was really good, but I think it could have been a little creamier. The prices were reasonable. I spent about $26 for everything, which I thought was a great deal. Customer service was excellent. Even though there was a line behind me, the staff never made me feel rushed while I decided what I wanted. The barista was especially friendly and even checked in afterward to ask if I liked my latte. If I'm ever back in the area, I would definitely come again.

I saw this new Korean bakery which is pretty much across the street from our dentist. Nice parking area with a decent amount of spaces and a couple disabled spaces. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Inside they have plenty of seating available to enjoy your pastries.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] As for bake good selections, they offer sweet and savory options. They even have some katsu plates with or without curry. I find some of their pastries are on the pricey end depending on what you select. Their most popular is the strawberry croissant which is sweet with a custard filling and strawberry slices. I tried their special Strawberry Mocha Latte which was really good, however, it was very small and very pricey. The service was great. The girl that helped me was super nice and very accommodating. After getting some bake goods for our dentist, I quickly had to eat the steamed pork buns while it was hot. The pork filling was like a pork siomai inside a fluffy soft dough. That was very good and worth the price. As for the sweet baked goods, I immediately tried them as soon as we got home. The cream puff was delicious and not too sweet, however for the size of it, I don't think it is worth the $4.00 price tag. The strawberry croissant on the other hand was cheaper and also very tasty and I would say it's worth the price tag.

Cream Pan is a popular Japanese bakery with its flagship location in Tustin. This newer Cream Pan Lomita location opened in 2023 and I have been coming here from time to time. Few key notes: * There's a small free private parking lot and it is almost never 100% full even during busy hours. * While the bakery closes at 7 PM, come before lunch hours to get the full selection of baked goods and refrigerated sandwich options; otherwise, many of these items sell out before closing time. * [[HIGHLIGHT]]Plenty of indoor tables, but no outdoor seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] * S-tier items: strawberry croissant, sticky bun, steamed pork bun. * A-tier items: half turkey avocado sandwich, pork katsu sandwich box, matcha cake * B-tier items: almond croissant, drip coffee. This is a nice grab-and-go spot for anyone who is looking for a quick bite and quality b[[HIGHLIGHT]]aked goods. Personally, this is not an ideal first-date spot or a place for really good coffee - stick with places like Corridor Flow just few [[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]blocks away.

Only 13 strawberry croissants in the prepackaged tray of "14".

Got the six pack today as we were shorted one when we got the "dozen", which was supposed to be 13. It's easier to see/count 6 croissants than 13. We always enjoy their strawberry croissants but may try their cakes next time. They have a simple lunch menu, ready to grab sandwiches & some other samlle items on the counter.

No need to travel to the OC for their infamous strawberry croissant! tried the cheese crisp the first time and certainly won't be the last. it was really worth the price in my opinion. mango cheesecake was also really good! would recommend!! [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have a small parking lot and good amount of seating inside to catch up with folks.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Fresh bakery bright n early! We popped in early morning and found all of the fresh pastries in the cases, chilled katsu sandos, and assorted onigiris presented out. Their strawberry matcha is super concentrated, flavorful, and creamy - just the way I like it. Staff was awesome and very knowledgeable about each bakery item. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a very spacious cafe with bench seating and clean bathrooms.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Been a big fan of this bakery since a couple of years ago, and glad they've opened up additional locations. Sad that all of them are far from me LOL Q_Q but whatcha gonna do. I'd love it if they opened something in the Cerritos area...Please... Quality of the items here are as good as their original location in Tustin. I actually tried visiting this location on time during a weeknight and they were completely sold out and closed early. Good for them, but bummer for me! I had similar issues at their Tustin location. If you want access to their entire selection make sure to come early. If I'm out and about in the morning nearby them I'll typically try to squeeze a stop by their store. Came on a Friday early afternoon, and they were already out of the chicken curry pan, but I gave them a call before stopping by (since I was in Torrance anyway) to ask if they had any curry bread left and the worker said they had a couple of beef ones left although she couldn't guarantee they'd still be in stock when I arrived. Luckily they were! I also got two pork buns (high recommend, they are soft and fluffy and juicy and delicious), an azuki cream (for the husband, he likes it but I think it's just fine but I'm not a massive red bean fan), and a boston cream (personally I prefer the one at Hamada-ya more as their's is more airy while this one's more heavy?). There was basically no wait and I was serviced promptly. Store was clean and orderly. Will definitely be back whenever I'm in the area!

Fairly large bakery offering a wide variety of French- and Asian-style breads and prepared foods. There's plenty of seating, though not quite as much as 85°C Bakery. Most of the pastries are excellent and clearly made with high-quality ingredients--think arabiki sausages, matcha, and seasonal berries. Just be aware that some of the more gourmet items (like the matcha cookies) can run up to around $8. The coffee is also very good and can be customized to taste; in a very Japanese style, it leans slightly bitter rather than sweet. These baked goods are popular locally, and you'll even find some of them stocked at Nijiya. Service is about average. The staff seems focused on keeping the line moving, so there isn't much interaction, and when I asked a simple question like whether something was made in-house, the clerk didn't know. That said, they do offer some unique Cream Pan-only items, including curries and salads, which are definitely worth trying.

First time coming here. I wanted to try their egg sandwich and ended up loving it! 10/10 !! Keep in mind they advertise they do not put any conservatives in their breads so they must be consumed within 2 days. I also got their vanilla cafe latte and it was 10/10 2 sandwiches , 2 coffees and a strawberry croissant at $25 ?!?! I'm sold. Iced Caramel mocha latte - 10/10 Service was great. The bakery is huge, I've never seen one like it. There is plenty of seating space. Will be coming back to try more of their stuff!

Cream Pan's Strawberry Croissant is nostalgia in pastry form ..think a gourmet Pop-Tart or an elevated Pillsbury strudel. Each bite is light, flaky, and filled with velvety cream. Only wish? A few more strawberries to complete perfection. Food: 4/5 - A dream selection of pastries, breads, sandwiches, rice dishes, donuts, and desserts. Everything looks (and tastes) freshly made with care. Service: 4/5 - Fast, friendly, and efficient, even during the morning rush. Ambience: 4/5 - Spacious interior with plenty of seating, perfect for a chill breakfast stop or casual meet-up. Parking: 3/5 - The lot fills up fast, so street parking is your best bet during peak hours. Props to founder Yoshinori Inada, who opened Cream Pan back in 2002 and continues to bake his way into SoCal food history. Gotta say, this is hands down The BEST bakery in town. My wife and I discovered this gem on our way home from dropping off our boys in school. There are soo many delicious breakfast goodies and French rolls to take home. We always get the ham and cheese croissant. It's an absolute MUST if you like croissants. The bread is so fluffy and the ham and cheese is super delicious. We always get 2 for each because it's that good. One is definitely not enough and these are not the sharing type. Our Lattes are always on point. There's this Asian gentleman barista who's super nice and puts designs on the lattes. Dude knows what he's doing on the Latte machine. He's Amazing!!!!! Keep up the excellent work. The raisin and cream pastry is always bomb!!! The custard/flan is highly addictive. It's perfect! All the pastries and cakes look amazing. Theres never really a line like at Starbucks which is great and the customer service is really nice and courteous as well. Overall, my wife and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this gem if your ever in Lomita and crave some delicious coffee and a pastry. They have a lot of different types of food and drinks here as well. Give them a try! You won't be disappointed or dissatisfied. The ambiance is perfect to do work and just chill for a bit.

We stopped by today around 3:30PM and received quick service :) they were just bringing out some fresh doughnuts so we were able to get them super fresh! We got to try some new seasonal flavors as well as some classics. Chocolate Celebration Ring - this is a new daily flavor I believe, and I quite enjoy it! The doughnut itself is very pillowy and not dense at all like their other ones. Very different, but a good different. It reminds me of the type of doughnut you'd get at a mom n pop, which is a huge plus for me. The chocolate frosting surprisingly wasn't super sweet. Def would get again. Potato Chip Streusel - this was...interesting haha. The potato chips add a nice salty flavor to the chocolate donut itself. I wouldn't get it again, but worth a try if you're an adventurous person. Celebration Cake - one of my absolute favs. I love that they use almond flour so it has a nice nutty taste. It is very much cake like and dense, but it hits the spot every time. Highly recommend! Old-fashioned - also a great classic! It has a great mix of cinnamon and nutmeg and isn't too overly sweet. Banana Bread Latte - we got to try this and I LOVED it. It was very banana-y and I loved the touch of walnuts added in. Out of all the banana flavored coffee I've had, this was the best. Just a note, cold foam is extra, but so worth it imo! Shout out to Bash for making this coffee so good!

Review #986 2026-056…read more Food Order: Boston Cream $3.95 Butter Pistachio $4.95 Cookies & Cream $3.95 Crème Brûlée $4.95 Lemon Poppyseed $3.95 Raspberry Ring $3.95 Another one bites the dust... bada dum dum dum... During my freebies birthday run yesterday, I was planning on going to Old Ferry Donut after picking up a boba next door, only to find the shop closed. \(`0´)/ Known for unique flavors & vibrant retro-pop 70s branding (cute hamster mascot with bold orange & brilliant blue colors; it's featured on 2-/4-donut boxes), this Korean-inspired premium donut shop originated in Seoul a decade ago before expanding to several S. CA locations, opening in Torrance a couple of years ago. OFD's donuts are popular for its rich creams & chewy dough; Butter Pistachio & Crème Brûlée are just 2 of their signature flavors. I was going through a donut phase when I initially stopped by Old Ferry Donut. Large windows let lots of light in, & once you step across the threshold, you're hit with a strong K-pop vibe & loud music. They even had a collab with SEVENTEEN last fall during their tour with 2 flavors: Marble Strawberry & Blue Coconut! Unlike the regular mom & pop's or commercialized donut shops, they don't offer a discounted 1/2 or full dozen box. After asking what's their most popular picks, I chose Butter Pistachio & Crème Brûlée, & added Lemon Poppyseed & Raspberry Ring for myself, Cookies & Cream & Boston Cream for the kiddos. Service was alright... I didn't need a sales pitch, but would like some info on the donuts to make an informed decision since they're at a premium price even though they're not "freshly made" (every hour or less) like SD&C just down the street. The Butter Pistachio is a major hit... fluffy & light, a slightly chewy yeasty donut stuffed with a mildly sweet whipped pistachio cream filling & topped with a salty-sweet buttery streusel... how can you not be addicted? And totally worth it! Crème Brûlée is also popular for its delicate, crackly caramelized sugar crust & airy brioche dough that's filled with a rich vanilla custard. Good flavor, but maybe on the older side? Since it's been sitting for awhile, it lost that fresh fluffy texture & was kinda dry. I really liked the Lemon Poppyseed; it's right up there with Butter Pistachio. The lemon glaze is just the right amount of sweet & tart, & the donut was fresh & fluffy! The Raspberry Ring is pretty good, matching that sweet & tart of Lemon Poppyseed, but I like the citrus zing of the latter more. What's different is the former has a raspberry jam filling in addition to a glaze & the latter is just a yeast donut with fruity glaze. Kids didn't say much about Cookies & Cream & Boston Cream... I figure you can't go wrong with these flavors. The filling might have been a bit much as I saw the cream oozing out of the donut & onto my LO's face & shirt. His sister was slightly better at containing the custard blob. LOL With premium prices, It's debatable if Old Ferry's donuts are worth it... quality, freshness, & size. Hmmm... I like them & their creative flavors, but they're a tad too sweet & not as "fresh" in comparison to SD&C. Sad to see Old Ferry Donut permanently gone from the South Bay, but they still have locations in San Gabriel & Buena Park if you're willing to take a drive. Recommended: Boston Cream $3.95 Butter Pistachio $4.95 Cookies & Cream $3.95 Crème Brûlée $4.95 Lemon Poppyseed $3.95 Raspberry Ring $3.95
