This company is so rude and unprofessional. Their idea of customer service is to take the time to put together an insulting email instead of a 30 second return call to let me know they don't handle the broken glass I needed replaced on my window. It was a honest mistake on my part. He continues to message me. I have attached his message: "I'm sorry but you have called the construction business with a glass replacement request,that's why no one have called you back. As you may see that- our company named "Bestoff windows and construction"-there is nothing about glass replacement in it,right?. Nothing about the glass replacement you may see among all of our customers reviews,you may also check the business website-if there anything say that the construction business does a glass repairs. I interviewed 10 window guys before picking one. I don't part with money well. After awhile you can tell who knows what they are doing and who doesn't. Most of the people who come to your house are salesmen and not contractors. Sergey ended up being THE last of the bunch I interviewed. After hearing 9 different things from 9 previous people, Sergey was the one who whipped out the tape measure and told me why we couldn't do what some of them had said due to structure, weight bearing and codes. He was literally the only one to do that. Thankfully that eliminated all the installers were going to come back and tell me that they couldn't do it either after their sales guys said yes. I had fallen in love with Anlin Windows and was looking at the Del Mar series because the pitch is, well, cool. Sergey is not a distributor for the high-end Del Mar model but does do Catalina and he gave me his reasons why. I researched what he told me before we settled on someone and he was completely correct about our needs in the Bay Area vs. a colder climate like Tahoe. The energy savings I'd get here having the insulated frame wasn't cost effective and the rating really only changed for winter. I wouldn't have recouped the price difference in my lifetime or even that of my kids since the savings in the e-rating was minute. So we opted for the Catalina windows and got a little less nice screen. I've been using them for a month and a half and glad I didn't spend a few thousand more for screens because these ones are completely fine. I can't even remember what was so special about the other ones. Sergey also made several recommendations on switching the direction of the sliding windows for better air flow, not going with the french doors because they would be the only french thing on the house and they cut our more light with the fatter frame, not getting the sound package because the sound relief would be negligible the new windows had way more soundproofing that we had then, and more. He also had a better handle on the codes of which windows needed to be tempered and which did not which save us some too. So far everything he said rang true. Alex and Jose, the actual installers, were AMAZING! I had 16 windows and a slider replaced. They had all the windows out and replaced in one day. They never stopped moving. They also replaced a piece of rotted wood in one of the windows. They came back on day two and replaced the slider and caulked. Now, I will address the person who complained about the caulk. If you've ever caulked on stucco, you know you have two choices. You can have the caulk look perfect or you can have your window waterproofed. You can't really have both. I bought a small can of paint to touch up the window on the stucco side of my house. Not a huge job at all and I'm confident my windows won't leak. We had a good amount of rain yesterday and no water to be found. Also, they completely cleaned up everything including the window. Regrets? I might have replaced my window sills before the process because the access to that is a pain now with the new windows in because they rather sit on them. I've always thought of redoing the ones downstairs because the were rather plain. Has nothing to do with Bestoff Windows but I just thought it was a tip to throw out there. They weren't the cheapest quote I got but they were the windows I wanted (or found I wanted) and I think, even with the lesser quotes, I wouldn't have been happy with the window, the installation or the damage they'd have done to the house. In fact, I'm sure I would have probably never gotten the price they were quoting because I think the work would have changed due to them not really knowing what they were doing. Bestoff, however, was the cheapest quote for the windows I wanted by thousands. I would highly recommend them AND I would use them again but I think we'll be good for many years to come! read more

Rather than focusing on my negative reviews that i left to businesses which deserve nothing but one star, if existed on yelp i would have left zero, as your business does too and the management that runs this business which includes youself; I would take steps and appropriate actions to improve overall customer service and have patience when dealing with clients. If I could give a million stars I would! I called Sergey and he came out the next day. We wanted to replace 7 windows, 2 of them had air between the double pane and the other one was our bathroom window. Our bathroom window opened side to side which every time we showered we had to have it closed so the neighbors wouldn't see us (I didn't want to give them a free show every time! lol). We had 2 other companies come out before Sergey and NO ONE offered advice like Sergey. He suggested we do an up and down window so we didn't have to do any construction to our house and we could shower with the window opened ( he also gave other suggestions with the windows that again no one else gave us.) He said that even if we did not use his services that we might want to use his suggestions (which I loved every suggestion he gave!!!). His crew is actually at my house right now, they were unbelievably polite, professional, made sure that the windows were in the right rooms, facing the right ways and asked if I needed anything else. From the first phone call, the staff at Bestoff was wonderful. Our appointment for an estimate was scheduled promptly, and amazingly he showed up on time... we have had two other companies we tried to get bids from, one didn't show up, the second was an hour late. So after receiving a very reasonable quote, we scheduled our installation for a week later. On the day of the installation, two people came, one was the owner (Sergey). They were very professional from the beginning. They first laid down tarps to cover the inside of the house. Once they started, they kept on working until they were done at the end of the day. It was refreshing to see people working hard. After they finished the windows, the owner came and asked me to check the windows. He took pride in the installation and wanted to make sure I was left satisfied. I tend to be pretty picky, but it was amazing that I was completely satisfied from the beginning. It was also nice that they spent the time to clean not only the inside of the house, but also the outside. We had another company install windows throughout another house, and they were mediocre. Sales people were great, installation was average. Compared to those guys, these people from Bestoff seem to take more pride in what they are doing. Hands down best experience we could have hoped for in getting new windows. I did some research and per Yelp reviews I left a message after hours for Bestoff Windows. Sergey, the owner, called promptly the next morning and was available for an estimate the following day. He showed up for the estimate on time and was honest and straightforward about what he recommended. One of my favorite aspects of dealing with Sergey was that he wasn't trying to give us the "hard sell". We needed our ratty old single pane windows replaced as they were providing almost zero protection from the elements. We just wanted standard vinyl double paned windows, nothing too fancy. Sergey came by and was able to give us a fast and fair estimate, and also gave us good recommendations on the type of windows we should get in regards to air flow and to the style of our house. He also does not require any payment until 100% of the work is done, so that gave us some peace of mind that the job would get done properly. I tried. Sergei didn't just show up, measure windows and try to sell me whatever he had. He repeatedly talked me out of more expensive options and clearly explained why. He suggested the least costly ways to optimize the views. He considered the traffic flow, and suggested that we have the sliding door open from right to left instead of left to right, to make the exit and entry easier. He looked at our windows and recommended the best ways to have them open and close for the best air flow. For bedroom windows, he recommended wider openings to allow for emergency access, in case firefighters ever needed to get in with all their gear. Throughout, he had in mind not only our comfort, but improving the long-term resale value of our home. We had the whole house bid. There's more, but it's all awesome. My neighbor just had their house, with a similar size and number of windows, done, and Sergei did our windows for a third of what they were charged. Since then, we've had a heat wave, and didn't have to turn on the A/C; it was that comfortable inside. Our heating and cooling bills have dropped considerably. We had some challenging windows, but his crew moved quickly, showed up on time and had the job done in two days. Communication was great. Cleanup was 99 out of 100, but if I'd taken out that many old glass windows, cleanup would have been 45 out of 100, if that. We're talking a few little dinky tiny shards in two places; I'm being a real picky stinker on this. I did exactly what you are doing when I needed new windows in my house. I went to Yelp, sorted by highest rated, and called the top 3. Bestoff was very responsive and came by quickly for an estimate. After shopping around, Bestoff answered all my questions and fought hard to earn my business. I also liked the windows he offers for several reasons (one is that the bottom pane comes out for easy cleaning of both sides). You don't pay a penny until the job is done. I live in a townhome that had the original crank windows and they were failing. A friend and neighbor of mine had his windows replaced and installed by Bestoff. We live in a HOA, so it is often difficult to to get a replacement such as this completed in a timely manner. Because Bestoff and owner, Sergey, had already completed great work in this complex, it was much easier to get the project approved and underway. I met with Sergey and he showed me the various windows I could choose from. He was very honest with the pluses and minuses of each brand, and did not try to oversell me for my needs. I had a number of windows to replace due to the greek-style aesthetic. I also had a slider and a half-dome custom window. I was not sure if I could afford to replace all at once, thinking I might do half now and the other half in a year. Sergey was nice enough to give me options, with no pressure to install them all at once. He quoted me options on the spot, and in the end, due to his fair pricing, I opted to get the full installation done. From that point, it was a matter of timing. Sergey gave me the schedule for the windows being ordered, made, and shipped. Sure enough, on the day he said they would be ready, they were. I have found this to be unusual for contractors I've worked with in the past - you can often add a week or more to their time estimate. In a nutshell: Excellent! - For more details read on. It's long :) I needed to replace two patio doors and went "shopping" on Yelp. Bestoff Windows had the highest rating, but they were the furthest from my location (in fact, the map placed my house almost outside their service area). So I began getting in-house quotes from other companies first, while corresponding with Sergey Oreshkin (the owner of Bestoff) by email. My situation was a little complicated, with a potential problem due to the improper installation of the existing doors. With every new salesperson from yet another company the list of questions and uncertainties just grew bigger. The last couple of sales reps, who claimed to be ex-contractors, scared me with numerous potential problems (one even told me that for $300 they could send somebody in to open my walls just to see what's there). Every new concern I had I emailed to Sergey and he very patiently addressed it, explaining all the details. So, finally, I had him come out to my house to take a look. When you talk to Sergey, you know you're speaking with a very knowledgeable professional and not just another salesman. Without opening my walls he knew exactly what his installation crew would find there and what special instructions he would need to give them. At no time did I feel pressured to make a purchase, but once Sergey gave me the quote I knew he'd be getting this job. His quote turned out to be the lowest. Nevertheless, I felt confident this wouldn't affect the quality of work (and I was right!) So, I signed the contract and waited for the doors to be manufactured. Within the promised time window the doors have arrived and Sergey called me to schedule an appointment. He was very flexible - I requested a particular installation crew (Jesus and Alejandro), that was mentioned in other good reviews, and Sergey made sure I'd get them. Now, about Jesus and Alejandro (and another guy, whose name I don't remember). These installers are amazing. They arrived on time, worked efficiently, answered all questions and explained what they were doing (well, they explained to me, cause I was very interested and kept asking questions :) ). They did run into a problem that required them to remove a foot of stucco from above each door and fix the moisture barrier that was previously damaged (hence the leaking). They spend at least two extra hours on fixing this and patching up stucco and didn't even charge me for the labor!!!! I did reimburse them for the extra materials they had to get at Home Depot - they gave me the receipts. After they were done, they cleaned up all the mess resulted from the stucco patching. Just to show how great they are, here another little story. In the morning, when the crew just came, I asked Jesus about a leaking kitchen window. He took a look and said the caulking has deteriorated and promised to fix it at the end of the day. In the evening, before they left, I was about to remind Jesus of his promise, but he called me first to show that they have re-caulked all (!!!) my downstairs windows. How awesome is that!?! Well... now I'm one very happy customer with beautiful new doors. I wish I knew companies like Bestoff for my other house projects.
