Do not hire them. There are plenty of other window and door contractors who would do a better job and be professional . These guys drink and drink/drive in the middle of the day and while on the job which is extremely reckless. Taking them to court since Andrew Sellars (the owner) is unwilling to complete the job. More background info below. We had a hired them in November 2024 to replace our front door. The initial quote indicated that they would complete it early 2025 based on the door lead time. No issues initially. We provided a deposit to get things started and that is when it immediately went down hill. They were very unprofessional throughout the process. When we would go to look at the stains, they would often be drinking on the job in the middle of the day and we witnessed delivery drivers driving right after drinking. When we picked the stain they needed to also fix some depressions in the door(s) but when it showed up to install they did not make both of the doors match and did not fix the depressions . The door was over $8k and Andrew Sellars (the owner) insisted that they needed more money before they would fix the door. They took the door and put a temporary door on but 6 months later with multiple meetings about the corrections and there has been no progress made. Since they did not seem to have the capability to fix the door, we received a quote from another contractor to get it corrected and they refused to bring the door back even though it was offered to simply deduct the cost of repair from the final payment. Forced to take them to court since they are unwilling to complete the work. read more

Hands down SIGNIFICANTLY better customer service, knowledge, and ability than Home Depot, Lowe's, and probably any other corporation. After waiting two months for some doors from Home Depot I called and found out the doors were back ordered without my knowledge. Nobody could get me any kind of answer about anything so I canceled. I checked Lowe's out and they wanted $460ish per door which was RIDICULOUS. I'm guessing Home Depot didn't want to honor the previous price at which I ordered the doors...... I was lead to Andrew/Royal Windows and Doors and he got me the doors in less than 1 week at $260ish per door.... Andrew was not anything Milton (previous review) said. People are going to have to get use to being inconvenienced until competent leadership is brought back to the country . read more

I called Royal and spoke with Victor about converting a window to a slider in our master. I had this quote done by several contractors and Royal was the most professional, swift and best priced. The install crew including Jamie were professional and respectful of COVID and other construction going on. They cleaned as they went along and helped give advice on other projects. Based on the positive reviews, we had hired Andrew to replace a set of two french doors in our home. Initially, we thought Jaime did a good job, so we additionally purchased a brand new double front door and had Jaime set it up. In less than a month after finished work we noticed there were some flaws. We expressed our concerns to Andrew and Jaime came back to "fix"the french door. Sadly, for the price we paid, we are not happy with the overall experience. It seemed like Jaime rushed through the entire project. I would not recommend this business to a friend. read more

I hate writing bad reviews, but this experience was pretty bad. I asked Victor to replace two doors and was told it would take about two weeks. I asked him to drill all the necessary holes and to paint the door. I provided him with the old doors. I expected a perfect fit. When the doors finally arrived (two months later) they weren't even close to fitting. His worker, Jamie, came and planed the doors, leaving us to repaint the areas that were planed. He even gave my husband a hard time about it. No apologies were given by either of them and we had to go pick up the paint they forgot to bring back. I want to support businesses during this tough time, but I feel this experience needed to be shared. It's really surprising given all the positive reviews here. This is my second review for Royal and again an emphatic 5 stars! Royal's custom service is top shelf, especially follow up servicing address door issues due to soil movement. This past winter was especially hard resulting in excessive soil moisture and movement impacting our front door alignment. Jamie, Royal's lead installer, made the necessary adjustments to fix the door and dead bolt alignment. The door opens/closes like new and on top of being an expert installer Jamie is super friendly! My kids broke a fairly expensive door handle that I had been having trouble getting a replacement part for. Andrew stepped up and custom ordered the $20 replacement part directly from the manufacturer for me which saved me a couple hundred dollars and a bunch of headaches. Once the part came in he emailed me promptly to let me know it was available. I had and I am still having a bad experience with Andrew. I almost never review on Yelp. This is only my second time. I had my entire house remodeled from the studs. I purchased all of my windows and doors from Royal Windows and Doors. I spent over $30k for 14 windows and 7 sliding glass doors. It was a long project and I had a couple of problems with some windows along the way. Initially, Andrew was prompt and cordial when he made the sale. But after, my experience with him was and still is unpleasant. I had a double hung window with a bad spring balance. the window would not stay up and wound slam straight down. I have children and of course I'm concern. I notified Andrew about the problem by email and video in February 2021. He said he was on it. I waited awhile and didn't hear back from Andrew. I would have to initiate follow ups many times and finally someone came and fixed the problem 3 months later in May. The truth is I don't mind waiting. What bothers me most is Andrew's attitude. There we're other incidents during the project. He has a tone that he's being bother, he's blunt and short. He has an arson of excuses. He acts like he doesn't care. Literally, I just got off the phone with Andrew with a problem for another window. I emailed him about the issue Sunday evening and I asked for a quick response. To no surprise, I didn't hear back from him, ( he said he replied), maybe I did missed his email. I spoke with him over the phone and, dejavu, here goes his bluntness and poor attitude performance. Andrew was great!! He absolutely changed my master bedroom with my new closet. I hated my mirrored doors and other places I contacted kept telling me I had to order the door on my own and then they could come install it once they arrived. Andrew took care of EVERYTHING. All he did was come and take measurements of the space and then he ordered the doors I wanted, scheduled time to install, and then got everything done within a couple of hours. I contracted with Royal Window and Door for a replacement double front door, and it was a highly satisfactory experience. Royal supplied the doors, stained the interior and painted the exterior sides, and then installed them. Several other companies were ready to supply and install doors, but then the buyer had to contract independently for their finishing; I thought it advantageous to have the doors finished in Royal's shop rather at my home. And the finishing is gorgeous - glass-like paint on one side and a beautiful, rich stain inside. The doors are as beautiful as any work of art in the house. A wood, stained front door is a terrific enhancement to a home, and there's no one better to do that for you than Royal Window and Door. read more

Royal Window and Door replaced 8 storage doors at the rear of our residential building. The door selection and ordering process was easy, Royal took and then later double checked all measurements and gave me good advice on various options. The doors arrived as scheduled. David (sales) was knowledgeable and responsive. Jamie and team replaced all door frames, replaced the doors, removed stucco, installed new moulding, and then replaced the needed stucco and matched the existing wall color and then repainted the building wall adajcent to the doors. They installed door knobs and deadbolts, took care of all the keying, and kept the work area clean. They did a fanastic job and a most impotantly a complete job. Other vendors I contacted only offered to replace the doors and nothing else. Royal's prices were slightly lower than other quotes I received and Royal delivered all that I expected and more. The conversation started off very well. But after sending the email to Andrew he apparently gotten extremely swamped and said that he was backlogged. His attitude turned very nasty. So I told him I was no longer interested. And he replied with something to the effect that good luck with finding someone that's not as busy and that I can't be like Amazon Prime. What was supposed to have been a routine window replacement has turned into a disaster. After initially installing 80% of the windows in our house we quickly realized that the windows being used were of poor quality and didn't fit well. This outfit said they would get everything resolved many times and here we are over 9 months later and we've got very poor windows, with large visible marks all around the edges, some windows that were never replaced and so don't match the rest of the house.....and no resolution or even responses from them acknowledging how they will fix the problem they've created. Would not recommend. They are a Milgard Window Dealer. Andrew Sellers the owner came to my home 10/9/2014 to give an estimate to repair several windows. I followed up several times for estimate and finally got one 10/24 and I told him to order the parts. He told me 3-4 weeks for delivery of parts. I followed up after 30 days and he told me they were not in yet. I followed up again after 5 weeks his answer was parts still not in. I asked if he had ordered the parts and he said absolutely yes. I called the manufacturer to be told he had not ordered the parts! Milgard is now finding me another distributer. He wasted 2.5 months of my time.
