We had 5 different companies come out to provide estimates (including Home Depot because we wanted to see the highest estimate). Sergey came out and provided an estimate for our whole house and also a phased approach to the project. Really really glad we went with Bestoff for our windows. While we didn't need the whole house done we had about 7 windows that needed replacing. Quote came in slightly lower than others but we went with them more based on Sergey's knowledge and information. He seemed to think of everything. Like that newer windows might show some of the previous paint and require touch up (by us obviously), making sure they match windows that are staying etc. He also has an architectural eye and wants things to look good as well as work. He knows safety and codes, does not try to over sell, just gets you the info you need in a clear way and talks it through with you. The crew was great, everything happened within the time frames from when the windows would be ready to how long they would take to install. Sergey clearly stands by the work being done. Great communication and just super happy with our new windows and the process to get them. Finally a company that debunks "if it's too good to be true it probably is." Bestoff Windows not only delivered on their promises, they exceeded my expectations with the windows I replaced. I had already done a lot of research on replacement windows and had an idea of what the typical cost was. My house was tricky as the aluminum windows that were being retrofitted with vinyl Simonton windows had been installed in a non-optimal way, originally. Sergey thought through the best approach to installing the replacement windows and suggested the best design for the frames. He also challenged me on my ideas for which handles I wanted, which was good. He came up with a very reasonable quote. Did I believe they could finish in one day? Did I believe the windows would look as good as in the catalog? NO. But they not only received the windows earlier than Sergey estimated, they finished installing 9 windows in less time than he had estimated. AND the windows look better on the outside and inside than I expected. The installers explained how to sign up to make sure the windows are registered with the warranty. Needed to replace old aluminum windows and had 3 different companies out to give quotes. Bestoff was the middle quote (honestly, the difference between the top and bottom was only about $2k and when talking about 14+ windows, that's not a huge difference) and I went with them. Sergey, the owner, has been around for quite awhile and knows his stuff. He was able to answer my endless number of questions and wasn't annoyed at all! I went with Anlin vinyl windows, pretty basic but effective. I was told it was likely to take 3 months (or more) to receive my windows due to COVID, but I was lucky to get them in a little over 2 months. I've had them installed since just before Christmas and they look and perform beautifully. It's cold and it has rained a couple of times and no problems. The crew was here for one day and did a great job. They worked hard, were very polite, tried not to get in my way and cleaned up when they were done. He was very thorough. He provided me a quote on the spot. I still have to decide on which vendor I'd like to use for my retrofit, but I will update the review to 5 stars once work is performed by Best Off (if chosen). Worst off window! Spoke to Surgey on the phone, and he started off with a rude manner. I mentioned how I wanted to do my windows on the top story first, and then do my windows below at a separate time. Without asking size, type, or anything in regards to windows, he interjected and said they can do at least 5 windows or nothing. I didn't hire Bestoff windows because the owner didn't seem to have the type of windows I was looking for. I have old windows that crank out with a diamond pattern on the side. I wanted to upgrade to dual pane windows but keep some of the old style of the windows. I have met quite a few contractors and some of them are very unprofessional, don't show up on time or don't give me a quote. I am giving Bestoff windows five stars even though I didn't use them. I give the five stars for the owners professionalism. The owner showed up on time, was polite, gave me a quote immediately after measuring all of my windows. The owner didn't pressure me to sign anything that day. If you are looking to upgrade to dual pane windows and just want a basic window Bestoff is probably a good company to use. I have to join the ranks here and rave about the wonderful service Sergey and his install crew provided. I was on a tight time budget, you know the remodel story...windows have to be in before counter tops because counters butt up to the windows, etc etc. I was getting the run around from other window companies about cost and installation dates. After reading all the great reviews on Yelp about Bestoff Windows, I gave Sergey a call and he came out to measure a couple days later. His prices were so competitive, that I asked him for a quote on installing a new window-as in cut a hole in my wall and put a window there kind of new window. His prices were so great that we were able to get all the windows and doors, including my new construction window, for less than the next cheapest bid that didn't include my new window. Not to mention that the windows we bought were made in CA...I love the idea that I am supporting jobs within the state. :) The windows came in almost a week early and Sergey had them installed the day after they arrived-in ONE DAY!! I went to work with crappy, single pane, hard to open/close/lock aluminum windows and came home to beautiful, dual pane windows and doors. And my new window? Amazing. It brightens up the master bedroom just as I had hoped it would and gives a glimpse of Mt. Diablo too. There is no question, I will always call Sergey when I need windows...and with as great as my new window looks, I just might be adding a couple more windows to other dark spots in my house. I live in a small condo in Oakland and have a street side unit. I have one large bedroom window and one very large balcony door. One of the other owners in the complex, with a much large unit (5 windows and one balcony door) researched window replacement and settled on Bestoff. Her results were so good that a second unit decided to replace their 5 windows using Bestoff as well. When both owners raved about Bestoff and the new windows, I decided to jump in as well. Sergey, the owner, is delightful to deal with and very knowledgable. He's a no nonsense straight shooter when it comes to his business. He uses Simonton windows (made right here in Northern California). His price was both reasonable and all inclusive, no hidden fees or surprises. The Bestoff crew arrived exactly on time and could not have been nicer and more thorough in their work. They knew exactly what to do and went about all the demo of the old windows and hoisted up the new windows while I worked on the computer. In 3 hours they were done and completely cleaned up every scrap of debris from the entire project, including vacuuming, and they put every piece of furniture back into place. They even took all the scraps, garbage and old windows with them. I was especially happy when they both workers responded politely and quickly to all my questions and little requests ("I still see a small streak outside, could you wipe down the window again? Will you caulk all the seams twice? Are we sure it's all level?") Jesus even replaced a light bulb in my ceiling fixture that had blown out just before they arrived. The windows are beautiful and most importantly, my street side unit is now unbelievably quiet. I had no idea it would make this much difference, but it really has. Even with the windows open, it is keeping the street noise at bay. This has turned out to be one of the best investments in my condo that I have ever made. read more

Sergey took the time to think through each new window -- which way should it open? Top slider? Side slider? Casement? Picture window? -- and it all came out perfectly. The price was very reasonable. They arrived on time and worked as hard and efficiently as anyone I've seen. We had 17 windows and one patio slider replaced last November by Bestoff Windows. Sergey had many suggestions including which way the windows slide (so cold air is not coming in at the head of the bed), which locks to use, which windows are best, and encouraged us to get rid of the grids (outdated look). We were very hesitant about replacing the windows in the kitchen and one of the bathrooms since they had recently been remodeled, be he assured us they would look great, and they do. We are so glad we took his recommendations. The slider which was impossible to open before now slides easily with one finger. All of the windows work perfectly and look great. His crew (Jose, Angel, and Alex) were polite, professional, and really hard workers. In the two days it took to replace the windows I don't think they ever took a break.
