The work was done quickly and I did not feel pressured into any decisions (it was a project I already knew the house needed). There was an issue with an ice dam due to the way one downspout was improperly installed, but Power acknowledged the problem and came out to fix the gutter at no cost to us, and even modified all other gutters to ensure we did not have that issue in the future since our house seems prone to that. The main issue has been the over year-long wait to repair the interior ice dam damage in our master bedroom due to the faulty initial gutter installation. Initially, they had agreed to pay the average of 3 quotes. We had difficulty getting 3 quotes since the job was so small, so they agreed to 2 quotes. Once we submitted the 2 quotes, they changed their mind and a member of their team offered to fix it themselves for free. That was a very nice offer and they came to examine the damage themselves and agreed. Unfortunately, that person had a family emergency and was unable to come by at that time to complete the repair. Absolutely understandable, these things happen. What I would normally expect is for someone else to come by and do that work, or for this work to be prioritized in some way, or at the very least revert to the original agreement so I can pay someone to do the work sooner. Instead they gave us an appointment nearly 6 months later. This is unacceptable to us. We cannot currently sleep in that bedroom due to the ceiling crumbling and are currently sleeping in our upstairs office. I have called several times to stress not only the urgency of this repair but also our willingness to have someone else do it. I have not received a call back or an email back. I would not leave a review like this if I had not already tried to resolve this problem internally. From our initial experience, I would have given them 5 stars, including the initial modifications that needed to be made. That was all handled well. This issue around the interior repair and their choices for how to handle it have been extremely frustrating and are what make Power difficult to recommend. I imagine a change in management somewhere would greatly improve my experience and likely the experience of others.

I called and Berge picked up, he explained that they don't do window repairs but if I were in front of the windows he could walk me through how to identify the problem, possibly fix it myself or find a handyman to fix it. When I got in front of the windows he talked me through how to take the windows out of the track, identified that the "shoe" wasn't attached and that's why they won't stay open. After I got off the phone with him, I followed his instructions to get the shoe unstuck from the bottom of the track and managed to get them reattached to the windows, and now they both stay open! So incredibly helpful! If we needed to replace those windows we would definitely have gone back to Berge for it.
