At this point, I've been told that they no longer have a valid license, and they don't have the money to give me the refund I keep asking for. Do not waste your money here. I am left $200 in the hole with many, many frustrations over the last 19 months trying to schedule massages and making plans surrounding my appointment, only to have them canceled at the last minute. It's also been incredibly disappointing to not have any attempt made at remedying my frustrations, when I've repeatedly asked for a refund. Each time I had about six sessions and in both cases the treatments were very successful. The staff careful evaluated my situation and started me on an exercise program which resulted in complete recovery. They were careful to make sure my exercises were gradually increased so as not to re-injure or exacerbate my problems. In the case of my back problem, a previous provider had moved me along with exercises too rapidly and had actually made my problem worse. I still do my exercises more or less daily and have been pretty much pain free. The staff at the Institute for Athletic Medicine are low key and very professional. I highly recommend them.

They got me back on the road to recovery and used every tool in their arsenal to help me get my knee and surrounding muscles stronger. I started having troubles with my quads and hamstrings being tight and in spasm. They had the problem under control in 3 sessions and I'm still using the exercises they provided as part of my long term recovery.
