How do I start? I wasn't happy with the exorbitant rate I got from my Motorcycle insurer for my two brand new motorcycles so I started looking for a nearby office of ANY insurer at this point that will work with me. My rates were pretty ridiculous that even my former broker helped me out trying to lower it and even suggested, "I won't blame you if you shop for a lower one,"! I just entered "Motocycle Insurance" here at Yelp and All State Insurance Agent: John Budge came out first on its list. Before this I tried Google but the first two firms I called were not taking any more clients (they must be pretty made,wow) and the next two I called did not answer (only called back later in the day which, you may have rightly guessed by now- too late!) Whitney answered my phone call. I was so glad to speak to an actual person because before this I was trying senseless going through every insurance website out there. Online applications are a nightmare and they do not get back right away, and some takes 3 weeks to get back and if for some reason you weren't available when they ask for docs, your application is toast! Not naming names, GEICO. My phone conversation with Whitney was smooth and painless. She asked me what I needed for my policy and what coverages I needed to be there, and we were pretty much done in (checks phone) 28minutes and I was glad I got coverage and, most importantly, at a lower & fair rate than what I had before. I told her she is officially my broker now, and not long after I hung up the phone I called my former agent and cancelled my expensive policy. I've had my renter's insurance through this office since 2015. I was recently contacted by Whitney, she wanted to see if she could save me money on my auto policy. I gave her my info and sure enough, my payment would be less than what I was paying with another insurance company. I've been with the same Allstate agent for many years now. The real test of an agent is how they can find ways to continue saving you money and how helpful they are when you've had an incident. With both my house and our cars we've had to use our insurance. The agent and Allstate overall really helped get our cars fixed and some damage to my house. Even when the accident wasn't our fault they took care of everything and then took the responsibility of dealing with the other insurance company. I have gotten quotes from other big insurance companies, like AAA, and even though they convinced me they could save me money when I sat down with them they couldn't come close to Allstate. So I had Progressive for a few years and always thought I was with an insurance company that actually was fair and cared about its customers. How wrong I was and whats worse is that their true colors were exposed at this nations hardest moment of at least my lifetime ie covid 19. I have had a couple different policy's with this particular Allstate insurance agency and have always had fast and great service. Recently I noticed a reoccurring charge on a credit card I never use and had noticed it a couple times in the past but it was only $15 so kept putting off the phone call to inquire about it. I eventually called left a voicemail and had a call back with in 1 minute from Whitney. I let her know I had a charge that continues to go through my account mouthy for over a year and wasn't sure what it was. She quickly informed me of a service I ordered and I had FORGOT to cancel but haven't used. Whitney went out of her way to prove I hadn't used the service to Allstate and get me a full refund for the year+ I hadn't used the home insurance. This was MY fault and yet Allstate made it right like they always do. It's employees like Whitney that keep me forever hooked on multiple services.
