They were bought out by arbor. My grandkids have been patients their entire lives (16 years!) we recently had an urgent situation and my grandson saw a doctor that was rude, dismissive and uncaring. She said that she was "tandeming" which means seeing two patients at the same time. I strongly disagree with this practice. We'll be finding a new doctor. I called multiple times to try to resolve this, but was in hold over an hour each time and repeatedly disconnected. read more

They only alllow a 10 min late time who has kids that ain't 10 minutes late littlery late by 15 minutes and had to reschedule and the lady was talking for so long so I couldn't have my kid seen poor service read more

We take our teenage sons to Bethesda Pediatrics and from the check in to checkout, we receive excellent care and service. We forgot to get our prescription upon leaving and they called it in to our pharmacy right away. They asked a lot of health questions and genuinely took an interest in my sons' health and LIFE! The office manager always tries to fix things for us now. They do try to be accommodating considering the type of clinic they are. I always feel the wait is a little excessive but they do fit us in quite frequently. I just don't like that they change physicians so often. But after being with them for so many years my largest complaint is that they messed up our medical records. I cannot deny this,Regardless of the items they might've fixed so far. After things go into a medical file, everything is an addendum. Even though the weight can be long, and the physicians change frequently I cannot fault the office staff and the situations that present themselves and how they handle them. If there's one thing I understand after being an office manager and executive assistant myself for so many years including in the medical field it's that you cannot make everyone happy..... especially "that mom" which I always happen to be. read more

Very difficult to get ahold of. I have attempted to make a doctors appointment for about 4 days now and they will not pick up the phone.

They are almost always available for same day sick appointments. The staff is so friendly and helpful when I call. Our NP Craig is so kind, attentive and takes the time too lIsten and answers any questions or concerns we may have. We once saw a diff doctor when he was out and she went above and beyond to make sure my 2 year old had no complications from his yucky cold. Only reason it ismt 5 stars is because I think it could catch up to by having an app or online support like other offices have. And maybe spruce up their waiting room. But those are minimal when it comes to receiving good care your your babies. read more

I absolutely love the providers here, particularly NP Craig. I can always get my son in same day, which is awesome considering this is his first year at daycare and he's been getting sick quite a bit. I think I've seen practically every provider they have and they've all been amazing and understanding. There was an issue with billing once, but a quick call and it was resolved. I'm really not sure why they've such low reviews, as they really are fantastic doctors. I've never had to wait longer than five minutes to see anyone. read more

I don't give accolades unless they are earned, and a business does not keep me as a customer unless they go above and beyond the call of duty. For me to give Bethesda Pediatrics five stars really says something. 1. The doctors are amazing. Eric Nyman clearly loves children. Kelly Hughes is a mother and it shows in how she treats every last patient. From the first day I took my daughter there through my most recent visit, they treated her like family. Any concerns I had, they answered and put to rest. In this case, my daughter loves her pediatricians, and so do I. 2. The support staff and medical assistants/nurses are professional and keep the environment light. This is important in a medical setting because if they lose it, the stressed out parents and children will follow suit. They don't lose it. And believe me, I've been to more than one office where I saw the staff lose composure. 3. Owners: It's good to see a minority owned and operated business. Beyond that, they also know their clients. I'm not just a number to them and neither is my daughter. This is what separates them from a lot of other pediatric offices. The owners, not just the doctors, know my daughter and I by name. 4. Bilingual staff all the way through. From the doctors to the back of office, almost the entire staff is bilingual. 5. I've been treated fairly, my billing has always been spot on. Regarding the billing, I check thoroughly because I am currently on a cash only diet. When I was using insurance, I never got double tapped. All I'm saying is that I trust my daughter with these folks. I trust them enough to refer my friends and family. read more

We have been going there for a couple years, but about to change. One of the doctors there are trying to make us do extra appointments to 'resolve' an issue that they could 'resolve' by simply referring back to the patient chart notes that they are supposed to take. Did the provider not take adequate or accurate notes? Is the provider just being lazy and inconsiderate to a patient and their family by not reviewing the chart? Are they just trying to get more money from more visits? This is not my mistake. I am mad because they are going to make me pay again for the right to advocate for my child. I already did that in the office. I have been doing that without their cooperation over the phone. They have been wasting my time. I am mad because I have been calling them for 2 weeks on a recurring prescription refill, and out those times, a few time I was told someone would call back. That call-back only happened once, and they lied directly to me about what was going on in that call. They said the doctor approved the prescription and sent it to the pharmacy. He did not. I am really upset because my kids and I like two of the providers, and now we will have to start over. As far as the other providers - "eh". They do try to get the kids in fast, sometimes by double booking...meaning you'll have to wait in office for same- or next-day opportunity, so, at least they have that going for them. read more

I don't really want to give them a star but a star is deserved for the nurse who provides children with immunization because my kids loved her. I had a very long discussion with them over their billing practices and long story short if you seek this office for care, please check your explanation of benefits as they will double dip at every opportunity based on what their billing manager had explained to me. If you had scheduled for a well visit, and your child has a scratch, they will charge you 2 visits (1 well exam and 1 sick visit). Makes no sense but apparently it is clear in their minds and they say they legally could. Is it ethical? I think not! read more

Worst customer service I've ever experienced! Their office manager Drew was by far the rudest person I've ever spoken to. My daughter's appt was at 8:15 and I called because she threw up on the way to the doctors office. So obviously I had to go back home to clean her up and the car seat. He answers and from the beginning was so rude. He said we can reschedule to 10 which that would not be enough time to clean her up, wash the car seat and dry in time. He then makes a rude comment that "I would hope you would clean it in by 10". No shit! Of course I will. It just needs more time to dry. All I'm asking is for a later appt. he then tells me that well this will be considered a no show and then goes over some policy. Come on! I'm literally on the phone with you trying to reschedule before the appt! I call back to file a complaint and the nurse said the only person I can file a complaint is to the office manager himself! Really?! I'm just so done with this place. I've never had an issue before and the doctors there are amazing. But that office staff needs a change. read more

I have been taking my children here since my first child was a few days old. They answer all of my questions and concerns. They truly go above and beyond for my kids. The staff is always there with a smile on their faces and happy to see us. I trust them with my children 100 percent and I thank them for the support we got when my daughter was having a severe asthma attack. read more

Dr. Hughes is terrific. She helped us get immediate care for our anorexic child when we couldn't get an appointment for months with anyone. She would have been in the hospital before anyone would see us. And when my son's school refused to let him attend for almost a month due to a chronic cough she wrote them a letter reminding them that they were violating the law - he wasn't contagious for heaven's sake. read more

I would not recommend this doctors office to anyone. The office staff are very unorganized, lack communication skills, and get put out helping you. I took my newborn here for his first appointment and the doctor wasn't even there. They didn't know when she would be back (said weeks but unsure how many)! Now its 3:39pm right now as i am righting this and my appointment was at 2:35pm. I just got out not even 5 minutes ago. So we called into the back and the nurse comes and only askes maybe 2 questions and leaves. Then we wait for the doctor to come right ,?like usual. By this time its maybe 3:40pm. Need i mind you i have 2 kids thats are being seen and 2 waiting with my oldest sister whos 26 in the car. We waited and waited and i went out multiple times to ask what was going on. The doctor really hax no excuse and said she sees her patients according to the shedule so why am i being seen at 3:40 when my appointment was at 2:35???
