Mr. Taco ends the year being the best taqueria in Alpharetta! This place never has bad drinks bad service or bad food here you get high quality and amazing service ! The bar selection is always fully stocked and ready to roll ! Its always squeaky clean! Diana really knows how to run a place :)

Incorrect to-go order. POOR customer service. Try a competitor

Placed an order online tonight for 4 street tacos (no onions) and an enchilada (to-go). Upon returning home the order has onions on all the tacos. Yes, I should have checked the order at the restaurant. But when it's almost $4.00 a taco... You'd think they would check. I tried calling 4-5 times but it goes straight to voicemail. It's 12-15 min one way to the restaurant. So almost an hour of driving for TWO round trips. They made no attempt to compensate me for my time or driving 2 round trips. They simply said they would remake them. I just asked them to refund my order and went home empty handed. Should have went to any of the many other choices: Lil kikos, betos, capital, tequito express.... They may have redone the interior but the customer service is the same as it has been from the previous owners. Try one of their competitors instead.

It was my first visit to this location and it's just as good as the original. In fact, because this place is new, the inside is much nicer with still the same amazing food they've always had. They do things just a little bit different than other Mexican restaurants but it's all better. I think the food is top notch in terms of quality. I've ordered many different dishes over time and they've all been incredible. I think this was the first visit to a location that I ordered a lunch special of just some basic items, but even then the sauces that they have, the softness of the tortilla, the velvety meat, perfectly cooked rice, creamy refried beans and overall amazing flavor just make it one of my favorite spots. In addition, because it's ordered at the counter, it goes pretty fast even by Mexican standards. This will probably always be up on my list of places to go to if I'm in the area. They even have some small touches like they give you real high quality porcelain decorative plates. The employees are super nice and friendly too. All things considered it's a top notch place.

Ordered 3 tacos with a "Modelo" beer. All tacos were were excellent. Had an Al pastor, a carnitas and a chicken with green salsa. Tortillas taste homemade. Have a hint of charred corn. Delicious!!

Visiting Georgia for the first time and my group and I decided to search for a Mexican restaurant that had solid ratings and a cute dining area- I found Mr Taco and we went over to check it out! Upon walking in we were immediately greeted by the women working the front and we took a good amount of time to figure out what we wanted because everything looked so good lol So we went with taquitos, al pastor tacos, and a carne asada burrito. While we were trying to figure out drinks I decided to just play it safe and go with a classic margarita but one of the women, Diana recommended the Coco-Rita. She promised we'd love it so we all went ahead and decided to try it out, and I must say we were NOT disappointed! The drink was a perfect blend of tequila, lime, and coconut milk a combination I did not know I needed. I could probably take down another 5 of those. The ambience was great, Spanish music was playing and the environment was bright and clean and just overall a great vibe. Super cute bar as well! The food was delicious and obliviously fresh, I haven't seen that many fresh salsas in years and they were SO GOOD. Honestly it was a great experience and I absolutely recommend it! Great food, great music, friendly staff, and killer drinks.

It is a descent place. The service was good... it wasn't busy here... so I think we got a lot of focus for sure. The menu is extensive. Lots of dishes to choose from. My wife always orders the guac when we go to Mexican. I get the queso... I can't stand guac. I mean just look at it... I swear I have too many kids and changed too many diapers to eat anything that looks like this! Anyway once past the aps we got to our meals and I was pleasantly surprise. My boys liked it, I liked it, and my wife liked it! Eureka... a Mexican place that we all enjoyed and it wasn't out of this world expensive! I recommend stopping in and trying a thing or two.. you'll be glad you did!

We came back today and I tried a chimichanga supreme. I ordered what was listed as shredded beef, but as you can see, it's more of a ground beef. I don't care at all because it's delicious! It came with rice, but I gave that to my son because I don't eat the rice and he loves it. He ordered the chimichanga de Carnita and said that the meat was pretty dry and bland by itself, so not as happy as he usually is. The salsa was just as good today as it was before and the food comes out quickly. The service is good, but since you don't get a physical menu and have to scan the barcode and scroll through your phone to look at the menu, they keep coming back too quickly to see if you're ready to order without giving you much of a chance to look to see what's available. The restaurant is clean and nicely decorated, I personally think the music is a little too loud to hold a conversation because everyone around you is trying to compensate and talk louder.

Fives across the board…read more Casi Cielo is incredible. The space is warm and beautiful without trying too hard, and the crowd was hip and well dressed. Definitely a place to be seen and eat well. There's a parking garage but it was full when we got there, so we did valet, which was surprisingly affordable. Service was wonderful. Our server was attentive, helpful, and super knowledgeable about the menu. As for the food, we got: Aguachile de Pescado, which was insane. Super fresh, bright, citrusy, ceviche-like with perfect texture. I would go back just for that. The Hamachi was clean and bright. That avocado sauce tied everything together and gave it some depth without overpowering the fish. The Pork Belly Tostadas were crispy and rich with that smooth avocado mousse and sweet mango salsa balancing it out perfectly. Finally, the bone marrow with steak... so good. I had seen pictures of it before I came and it did not disappoint. The steak was incredibly tender. They bring blue corn tortillas and suggest making a taco with the marrow, steak, and avocado. It's great that way. But honestly, the marrow and steak stand perfectly on their own. Whole experience was excellent. Easily one of my favorite spots in the city now.

Wanted to love it…read more The vibes are there, the staff is genuinely lovely, and there's real potential here, we just had a bit of an adventure getting through the meal. We had someone in our party with a gluten allergy, and our sweet server was doing his absolute best, bless. We were steered away from the tostadas as a starter due to gluten concerns, so we pivoted to guac...which then arrived with a gluten-free tostada. So the tostadas would have been totally fine! Then a good while after we'd all ordered, she was told her entrée had gluten and needed to be changed. She reordered, and almost immediately, the rest of the table's food came out. So we were left choosing between eating without her or letting everything go cold. And the plantains she'd reordered around, because she'd been told they couldn't be made gluten-free? Turns out they absolutely can be. Just miss after miss there. The spicy margarita was more of a margarita that once passed a jalapeño on the street. I asked for extra jalapeño juice and they were happy to help, but without the seeds and ribs it just couldn't deliver on the heat. I'd skip the margs next visit. This just wasn't quite the relaxed easy dinner we'd hoped for, and the price point feels like it's a step ahead of where the experience currently lands. But I'm rooting for them to get there!
