This restaurant has been on my bucket list since I found out they have authentic Enchiladas Michoacanas. They're closed on Sundays so it's been hard to make it out this way. Today we were in the area and I finally decided to check it out. The parking lot is shared with other businesses. I was worried they would be busy with it being Saturday. We were one of two families in the building. The menu consists of three different categories: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. I knew what I had come for but the menu was extensive. I was really thinking hard. I decided to grab a tamale preparado. I wanted the rajas but they ran out. The presentation was great tho! I loved the salsa bar. I enjoyed one of the spicer ones with the onions that were soaked in chili de arbol. I finally received my main course! It looked amazing. I order 6 things and paid $38. Very affordable, especially in these economic times. My enchiladas were a 10/10. I ordered the bistec as the pairing. I can't stress how good this meal was. FINAL VERDICT: this place is extremely laid back and reminded me of what being in Mexico feels like. From the table set up to the way the food is presented, it fits the part. If you're looking for a restaurant that offers authentic Mexican food and different items than your typical Mexican restaurant would, look no further. I will definitely be back! read more

So good. I got the chicken quesadilla and cucumber juice. Quesadilla is reaaaaallly good (comes w rice and beans which are like nothing special but whatever, still filling and nice). DO NOT sleep on the cucumber juice, that was so refreshing in combination with the meal. They have a good salsa bar with many different onion, jalapeño, carrot picklings. Staff are nice and the restaurant itself has good amount of tables with a casual lunch vibe. Price was around $12-$15 (can't remember) but good portions and price. Decided to try this taco place since we were in the area. Portions were big, considering the price you're paying. They forgot a taco, but they made it really quickly in the kitchen. The wall paintings seem really weird, but i didn't seem to mind that. read more

It doesn't get more authentic than this. I'm actually shocked that we have a place like this in the area. Everything I've tried has been outstanding, with the exception of the Chicharron, which is super tough and not as good as other places. High marks for the carnitas tacos, they are tender and delicious. There is a great salsa bar, but if you're looking for mild salsa look elsewhere, everything is spicy. Overall a very laid back place with great prices and friendly service. Tacos rarely get better than this. Pro tip: Tacos come with meat only, so if you want even onions and cilantro, you must ask for it. read more

Got the veggie burrito and it was good, very tasty and made fresh! It had the standard veggies with avocado and potato too. Price point was reasonable at mid $9 out the door. There is some spicy dipping sauce they have out which I'd avoid since it's made with seed oils (very bad for you). read more

This is the most authentic place in the area. The service is great - super friendly and accommodating. The restaurant is very clean and big, there are plenty of tables. They have a lot of larger tables which is great for big parties. Our go-to is the al pastor taco. It's super flavorful and juicy, also very generous portions. The kids enjoy the shrimp and chicken tacos. We also love the pastor burrito which is a decent size. We love coming here because the quality of food is consistent and fast (always a plus with kids). Our favorite is the salsa bar. They have so many options. I recommend the light green one. It's fireeeee. read more

This was our first time visit. We both worked late last night so it was too late to make dinner. Because it was close by we came here for a to go order. Great food and lots of it, meaning big servings. You won't still be hungry no matter your choice of entre. We just ordered the steak burrito and full order of nachos. Again, big servings and both were very tasty with high quality ingredients. Lots of choices of sauces/salsas. Very casual and you order at the counter . . . you come not for the restaurant extras, just good Mexican food. :) Next time we will come to dine in and really check out the menu to try something different. Friendly staff and a lively, colorful interior / exterior. Taco Macho recently opened on Jones Bridge Rd and has the look of a chain restaurant (in fact, there are multiple locations), but the food here is extremely authentic and delicious. The Asada tacos, Barbacoa tacos, and Carne Asada plate are incredible and the salsa bar is amazing as well. It's odd that they didn't have prices on the menu yet, but the tacos are in the $3-$4 range and the plates are $10+, so it's fairly reasonable. There is plenty of seating on the inside if you want to enjoy it right there, which is what I did. I'll be a regular here for sure. So good. read more

Hands down the best Mexican food in the north of Georgia! Very reasonable price for tasty food. And this is a self serving restaurant so no tips is needed. But the server actually brings food and water to you so I would put cash in the tip jar. Lesson learned. I will bring cash next time for tip. But it is not an obligation. 3 bucks for taco and one dollar for rice or beans. We will come back for sure! I went back to the car and dig through the diaper bag to find 5 bucks to tip her. I have been looking for a delivery authentic Taco restaurant. I ordered last night from Taco macho and professionally speaking the food was excellent. Unfortunately I have become disabled and I have to rely on delivery foods and this restaurant will be a one or two times a week delivery for me. The portions are great, what I really liked was they put their sauces on the side which were also very tasty they actually tasted like they was a little grandmother in the back kitchen cooking lol. I tried the gordita and the tacos and a chicken Tamale. My next order will be burritos or torta's. The only suggestion I have is if they would make a homemade dessert of some type and Horchetta drink. read more

Went for my twin best friends birthday dinner. We arrived closer to closing time and the service was impeccable.

the staff of the restaurant are not friendly at all. I bought a drink and it was extremely sweet I asked them if I could replaced it with something else , the guy cashier just ignored me . and one of the cooks was making fun of me for requesting a different flavor . when I got my food , I noticed that my food was burned I asked the male cashier to please get a plate that isn't burned . he told me there was nothing he could do and if I wanted another plate I needed to pay .
