It was so good and definitely a must-try. Since we got there about half an hour early, we kept snacking on the chips and bean dip, and honestly, it was hard to stop. I ordered the lunch special with shredded beef flautas. For $11.99, it was a solid deal and pretty tasty. I can be a tough critic, especially when it comes to Mexican food, so that says a lot. I can see why this restaurant was voted one of the best Mexican restaurants in Kings County in 2025. It's definitely worth checking out. The two other tacos were packed, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. You can barely hold them together, and the salsa was spicy enough that one small container lasted all three tacos. Not many taco spots serve tripas, and even fewer do them well--but this place gets it right. The meat cuts are thick, full of flavor, and they're always willing to customize your order. This is my favorite taco spot in the area if you're looking for authentic street tacos. If you're in Armona and haven't tried La Esquinita, you're missing out.
