It's nicely seasoned with lots of flavor, which makes the meats very flavorful. The seasoning taste like lots of sweet grilled onions stir fry with tomato, garlic, and cilantro. The meat is a bit warm and a little bit less juicy/nearly almost dry. It still taste pretty good. ASADA TACO : The asada seasoning is just basic salt. Nothing special. Same thing here, the meat is warm and a less juicy/near to almost dry. It still taste good though. RED SAUCE : I ask for everything on my tacos so they gave me red sauce on top. The sauce is very thick tomatoey. There's a little kick to the spice. Nothing special about the sauce. The best way to expain it is just a little kick of spicyness with very thick tomatoey sauce. It seems like they put less water on their sauce. OVERALL : I think their food is ok. It's not a 'wow and I would come back everyday.' Probably I would come back for their cheap and affordable food. Im looking for something fresh, hot and juicy with unique flavors. Not going to gatekeep this though, their al pastor seasoning is pretty unique and taste pretty good. Pleasantly surprised of how good the tacos were. I set my bar real low as I normally do with new taco places because you never know if you're going to get a tortilla full of fat and tasteless meat or if you're going to get some decently good and fairly priced tacos. The older guy at the counter was really kind and helpful. He was working really well under the pressure of a busy lunch hour. He kept a good pace and a good smile. The best tacos and tortas in the area! Great flavor, great sauces, and fast friendly service. They are cash only, but it's worth it for the quality and price you pay to go to an atm and grab some. They are also not open on taco Tuesday, so no deals there, but again...at $2.50 a taco and $7 torta, you are already getting a deal every other day they are open and no added tax. For my last day, one of my lovely coworkers bought me some Cisneros for lunch. What a wonderful gesture! I had heard a lot about this place from the locals in Hanford, so I was already planning to check out this Taqueria at some point before I left the Central Valley. It may have been an off day for Cisneros, though, because the 3 of us thought the food was just ok. My friend found her cheese and bean burrito to be a bit lacking in the flavour department. My other friend said his pastor and asada tacos were pretty good and that he was happy the red sauce wasn't spicy, but he also followed that statement telling us about a couple of places that he likes better. When I took bites out my tacos, I kept waiting for some amazing flavour bursts to occur. Sadly, those remained in my hopes and dreams. The asada was definitely more flavourful than the pastor, but they were both a bit underwhelming. The salsa and jalapeños were the tastiest parts of my meal! The salsa had an exuberant freshness with a great blend of flavours, and the jalapeños were cooked perfectly and still slightly spicy. For $1.50 a taco, this place is definitely worth a try. Be prepared with cash, though; the place does not take credit! read more

A great taco stand! The tacos are the BEST. The building is clean. The service is friendly. Tacos can take a bit longer some times. But that's okay. Everything is made fresh to order! So it's all good. I only wish for two things to make this 5 stars. I wish the place was open on Tuesday. (Taco Tuesday, right?) and that credit cards were accepted. This place is amazing for some fantastic hole in the wall Mexican food which is hard to come by around these parts. Service is fast and the gentleman behind the counter is always very helpful and attentive. My only issues with the place (which is why I'm giving them only 4 out of 5) is they tend to run out of some of their meats especially towards the end of the day. Maybe this is a good thing and means they keep their stuff fresh. On my latest visit (yesterday) they were out of salsa, but had beans. Nothing major, but it would have been nice to have. Otherwise the food was fantastic and service was fast. The inside is a little dated and depending on what time you go don't plan on eating there as there are not that many seats. This is the best Taco place in Hanford hands down. It's a little hole in the wall spot, but for me when it comes to good tacos. I could care less about a restaurant with aesthetically pleasing ambience. I'm there for the food. These tacos melt in your mouth!The tortillas are fresh and with all the flavors combined it's magic to your taste buds. This place is a IYKYK kind of place. Best tortas I have ever had pretty much, and only seven or eight dollars a piece! Beans are top notch too.

This spot has not been doing lately and everyone hyped it up for no reason! I went yesterday to get a torta and asked for cheese on it. I do know normally people do not get cheese but some people do and usually it's queso or some type of Mexican cheese. This torta had American sliced cheese on it. That is disgusting. Took it back and at least could of remade it but nope he denied to remake it nor refund and said "well you wanted cheese" last time I'll be going there read more

First time ever in Hanford I was brought here because apparently it's a good place to go for tacos. This spot is kind of in the middle of nowhere seemingly, there is a dirt parking lot outside. Inside the aroma is quite nice and the interior resembles a home kitchen with the tvs with local spanish channels on. There is a pool table. Tacos are amazing. The guy who was at the register was friendly despite my spanish speaking limitations lol I would definitely go again if I find myself in Hanford. read more

Just went in there with my mom since I had been raving about for quite some time. Couldn't take her due to parking lot renovation going on. Ordered some carne asada tacos and my mom had the lengua burrito. Everything was so flavorful and fresh just like I remember it. My mom said the lengua was just as good as hers and didn't take old like some other places have it. The place is small but you can usually find a spot to sit and enjoy. Same two people running it. And better yet they still have the fresh beans, pico de Gallo, radishes and even added grilled Serrano peppers. Meats are perfectly seasoned. Legit tacos!! Normally I don't write super short reviews but there's not much to say other than. The Tacos are pretty darn good. Inside the restaurant is small and only swamp coolers are on hand, so be sure to visit in cooler months. Can be miserable inside on hot summer days. Also ordering can be a little worrisome, since the owner doesn't really ask for your name or give you a number.
