Not surprisingly, I preferred the thick creaminess of the one made with soft serve. And my wife preferred the one made from hand scooped ice cream, which was a bit milkier in texture, but oh so refreshing. They added just the right amount of malted milk and both shakes were delicious. This is a classic ice cream shop. Excellent outdoor seating, very cute inside. And many local young folk working hard. There is an ice cream parlor tucked away on the opposite side of the coffee shop. You can enter this through the coffee shop or from the outside entrance on the side of the building.
