I had a crack that happened and spread Saturday afternoon and by Sunday it was fixed very well by Ian. He told me that due to the climate and moisture it wouldn't be a perfect job and that makes sense as it was snowing with cold temps. He was very responsive via phone and on a Sunday helped to schedule me in and have it taken care of. I had most places that would push me out a couple of days and maybe have me get a new windshield. The crack was bullseye crack a little smaller than a dime and spread about 8 inches. The quoted price was very fair and much less than the big shops. All in all I have a new expert for any auto glass issues. Gotta love Yelp! I spoke to a gentleman named Mike on the telephone who explained everything to me was a pleasure to talk to and I had my claim transferred from Safelite to them and they were able to have the glass and have it installed in under a week where it was taking two months with that other company. Communication was excellent from booking the appointment, to dropping off my car, to receiving updates when the repair began and when it was completed. Everything was handled promptly and professionally via text, which made the experience very convenient. The repair took about five hours, and they did a great job. I have no complaints at all. It took under two hours and I was done. They would've come to me but because of snow I thought it was better to bring it to them. It worked out great. They have a comfortable waiting room and Kim is great. She's knowledgeable and personable and fun to talk with. They took my insurance so I had no charge. Made an appointment online…read moreon Wednesday 1/1/25 - New Year's Day for Friday to replace my windshield at my home location from 8:30 - 12:00. Promptly at 8:15 AM Friday the tech called me and ask if he could pick my car and work on it at the shop because it was too cold to work outside. So, I told him I world bring it to his location in Westbury. Arrived after 9:00 AM, they took my car immediately. About 2 hours later all was finished, new windshield, all stickers replaced, and my E-Z Pass and all was recalibrated with safety features and camera. The tech explained what was done and no car wash, rotating tires or mechanical repairs for 3 days. They had all my insurances information which I submitted when I made the appointment. Luckily, I have full glass coverage. I was very impressed that they had my windshield which was shipped overnight since New Year's Day when I made the appointment was a holiday. They made the entire process as easy as possible even contacting my insurance company and processing the claim. Safelite is the way to go for glass repair, they are best at it. The staff were very polite, efficient and professional. They are Great!!!

She informed me that the technician called in sick and they tried to call me but I did not answer the call. (there is NO evidence of a call on my phone). She offered that if I went to the shop they could fix my windshield there. I took the 20 minute drive to the shop and was informed that I was the 4th for 5th car to be repaired and it would be while. At that point I called it quits and drove 20 minutes back home with NO repair!

My husband brought the screen over and was told the person who fixed then was out but they would work on it when they got back beginning of next week. They never called to say the screen was ready. They gave me a husband a hard time when he went in to inquire about it like I he was bothering them. Said if he wasnt called it wasnt done. (Btw it was done). Then there was a phone call from the owner asking the employee if she was ok. Minute after he started conversing with her. My husband is even tempered, laid back and non confrontational. I guess the owner saw he was biracial on the camera, and that apparently made him scared for the female employees safety. (He could hear the whole conversation) Oh by the way my husband works for Suffolk County jail system she was probably safer with him in there. We will drive elsewhere the next time we need a screen fixed or buy the materials online and do it ourself next time since it isn't thay hard. Good customer service goes a long way, unfortunately that's not what we received here. Very unfortunate.
