The workouts are great. They have some awesome trainers. The one thing I can't stand is kaiser. He is the owner, and he is money hungry. He gets nasty when you don't pay right away, and makes comments that makes people feel very bad. He doesn't care about anyone's workouts. He only cares about his money. The bayside location is also very small, and good luck finding parking on bell Blvd. I will not be returning back because of kaiser, good luck to anyone who has to deal with him. read more

I'm the type of person who doesn't like going to the gym, hates doing mindless reps of anything, or even worse... counting all those pushups or situps I can't do. To top it off, I eat everything in my path. I snagged a living social deal for 1 month of unlimited classes a couple months ago to Better Body Bootcamp, (there are always promos going on, call Holly and ask) and then I put it off until it was nearly gunna expire. Sound familiar? Uh yeah. And then the torture began. Day 1- could not keep up with anything, wiped out in 3 minutes during the WARM UP. I'll never forget that it was a Wednesday- Legs Day... I took it easy for the first week, since my body had just recovered from an epic year of college test-cramming-junkfood-allday-munching-and-pen-weight-lifting kind of lifestyle. I committed myself to fully taking advantage of the unlimited aspect of this deal (I do the same at buffets), and so I went everyday nearly. Classes are flexible around normal work times with there being classes at 6 AM, 9, 10, and evening classes from at 5 PM, 7, 8, and sometimes 9 PM. On Saturdays (ultimate torture days), classes are from 8-10 AM, which is good so that you can still take advantage of the rest of the day. Now for the honest details... 1) It can get a little crowded at times, esp if you go during the peak times (which are variable really). The only time when the population size is a problem is when you accidentally kick or slap someone else when you're doing jumping jacks or doing kicks in a plank position. Sometimes I'm oblivious, but everyone is nice there, so no fights happen over this, lol. Just say sorry and continue your work out! Because it's a group class, sometimes there isnt as much of individual attention that you would think a normal bootcamp class has (picture guy in track suit yelling at you army style...), which can be good or bad for you. Good because you can cut yourself some slack, bad because you are doing things wrong without knowing it or cutting yourself too much slack. I have noticed though as the summer days are drawing to a close, the classes have been getting smaller. I feel as if Josh is the most helpful trainer at the Bayside location (never been to the Greak Neck location, although I have heard it's more challenging). He is super sweet, has a killer smile, approachable, and gives good guidance without making you feel like a retard/loser. 2) I am never bored. This should probably be number 1. It's one of the most important things about any sort of physical activity. If it's redundant.. then yanoe. I've been going for about 2.5 months now, and I still am surprised with new activities (BUDDY ROPES? ISOMETRICS?). Some days focus on specific body parts (ie Monday Arms, Wednesday Legs), so it's not impossible to roll out of bed and go the next day. Also, the work outs don't repeat much so it's always a fun, new challenge everyday! 3) How the classes are run.. is a little hard to describe. What is this thing "bootcamp"? It's circuit style work out where you go from station to station, and sometimes its a group fitness class style, or a mix of both! Always a surprise 4) Activities are timed by a timer (1 minute per exercise) instead of counting stuff out- I like this. Moving from station to station gives me a chance to breathe... I also like this. 5) Massages at the end. Kaiser does them best, ngl. 6) I am treated like family here. The staff remember my name , and call me "christy" and not christine, or kristin.. or.. well anyways. I'm no fitness expert (LOL me a fitness expert), and this is the first gym where I ended up joining for a few months, so I don't have much to compare it to. I have picked up a really good exercise habit and somehow attained better eating habits since I started here. No regrets joining-- best decision of the summer. After 2.5 months, I've lost some weight (3 lbs), and have gotten toned everywhere. But considering I was mostly lard before and could be mistakened for being 3 mo pregnant, it's a noticeable difference by far! And as Nick the trainer says "when you look at yourself naked, you're gunna be saying *thank you Nick*" So... thank you Nick. read more

I'm thinking that, generally speaking, there will be two categories of people reading these reviews about Better Body Bootcamp (BBB) - people who are already members and love it like I do - to the extent that we can't get enough, so that when we're not at BBB, we're checking FB statuses and Yelp! reviews about it, lol - and people who are looking for some kind of fitness program and want to see if BBB is for them. (If you're in this second group and pressed for time, or don't feel like reading a long, wordy post, just skip straight to the last paragraph.) Let me address the first group first.... If you're already a member, then you already know! You already know what a great place/experience/bunch of people BBB is. You already know that it's not just a gym; it's not just about losing weight and getting skinny. You already know that it's a place to get fit, to get stronger and to become part of a great group of like-minded people - trainers and members alike. And you already know that it really works. OK, now for those of you trying to decide if BBB is for you.... If you're looking for a place where you can just show up, blend into the crowd, put in mediocre effort and get equally mediocre results, then BBB is not the place for you. On the other hand, if you're looking for a place where not only do the workouts work, but where the trainers and members take the time to get to know you, to motivate, support and encourage you, then you have to check out BBB! I have been a member for just over a year now. In that time, I have lost 35 pounds, dropped five dress sizes and found a whole new group of friends. I had tried other gyms, tried working out on my own, had a personal trainer for a while, but none of them gave me the results, or frankly, held my interest so that I stayed with them for any meaningful amount of time... until BBB. The workouts are always challenging and always different. The approach at BBB is a mix of cardio, interval training and a lot of body weight exercises (push-ups, pull-ups, squats/lunges, dips, etc.). Each class starts with 10-15 minutes of cardio, sometimes with core work mixed in, before moving on to the day's circuit - a series of stations where you'll spend two minutes apiece, for at least two full rounds. Mondays and Tuesdays focus on upper body; Wednesdays and Thursdays on lower body; and Fridays are more upper body, specifically back and shoulders. Saturdays are usually being a full hour of "killer cardio." But what makes this place stand out is the quality of "customer" care - because you're not treated like customers; you're treated like valued clients, and even like welcomed friends, by all of the BBB staff. First, there's Kaiser, the founder of BBB. He is one of the most driven people I have ever met. His passion for fitness is evident in the energy that he puts into making BBB the best bootcamp around. He truly takes the time to get to know each of the members at both, the Bayside and Great Neck locations. And he's genuinely interested and invested in everyone's progress. In order to help ensure that all of his members get a great workout and the results that they want, Kaiser has surrounded himself with an amazing team. Nick and Josh make up the "dynamic duo" of trainers at BBB Bayside. They are both very personable and bring equal parts of professionalism and high energy to every workout. Then there's Holly, who keeps things running smoothly and makes sure that every client is taken care of; how many gyms can you think of that have a person whose primary responsibility is to make sure that you're happy? Together, this team - under Kaiser's leadership - has created a real community of people, of diverse backgrounds, ages and fitness levels who are all brought together with the common goals of getting in shape and leading a healthier lifestyle. Here's the bottom line: BBB works. It is an effective mix of cardio, basic bodyweight and other fairly simple exercises done over the course of an hour, led by high energy, highly motivating and truly likable trainers. Trainers create awesome workouts & the schedule of classes is plentiful. However as a business the memberships are non- negotiable and personally quite expensive especially for the area. Was disappointed when I had to leave the friends I made there but I'm not about to be taken advantage of when it comes to my wallet. read more

So I never really write reviews on here but this one is WELL-deserved. I was in the search for the perfect boot camp to help me lose 35-40 pounds. This place is close to my house and I saw the photos on its website so I thought, "why not?" Showed up to the first class where the owner, Kaiser, immediately asked me which membership I was interested in YET I had not even taken the class yet. I told him "let me try out the class and if interested i'll do the first month for 97 bucks." He told me to sign up at that moment since it was an evening class and I thought "whatever, why not." So I run to my car for my wallet and come back in and he was handling another customer. Class was about to start and I thought "ok, MAYBE i'll sign up at the end." Long story short, had a DECENT workout (place is tiny, makes no sense) - and Kaiser was not there at the end to take my payment so I just left the class. I'm on my way home and searching for my debit card and could NOT find it anywhere. I thought I dropped it and the next morning by 8AM had cancelled it with my bank and requested a new card. Here's where the story gets GREAT... Two days later I check my online bank statement and there is a pending charge for $97 from Better Body Boot Camp. I was ENRAGED. I didn't lose my card.. I must have dropped it in the gym and without MY PERMISSION OR MY PRESENCE the money-hungry owner swiped my card. Mind you, no one spoke to me about the class, the differences I may see by attending NOTHING. No background info was provided. I called PISSED OFF and am awaiting my refund and will be taking legal action. Leave this place alone.. if you want results, eat better and run. They don't care about their customers - just about the money they receive. read more

I have been coming to BBB for 9 months now and I love it! It has helped me get back in shape and become stronger. As an athlete, I have always exercised but lost consistency over the past few years. BBB has helped me stay consistent because I enjoy the classes and seeing the results! The trainers and members are great and each class is different and challenging. As a runner, BBB has helped tremendously with strength training and getting me through those long runs. Overall, I feel stronger and more confident with each class I take. read more

I came here using a classpass and I'm glad I tried it out. The people here are very nice and I definitely got a good workout. Unfortunately, I found the routine to be very unorganized. I've been to a few other boot camp style classes and this was just not up to par. In addition, please provide your trainers with a headset or microphone. The turning up and down of the music every time the trainer has to speak is EXTREMELY ANNOYING. It sounded like the trainer was trying to be a dj. It made me want to walk out and leave. I don't understand why anyone would think that doing that would be a good idea. read more

Before I became a member of Better Body Bootcamp (BBB), I can honestly say that I wasn't happy with my self-image. I weighed 190 pounds - 15 pounds overweight, according to my physician - and that was all beer-gut. I would wake up in the a.m. and just didn't like the "me" I was seeing in the mirror. When I added my chronic history of high triglycerides (fat in the blood) and low HCL (good cholesterol) to the equation, I knew I needed to change my lifestyle, and I was told as much by my doctor. I hated the gym scene - from being ignored by staff to not knowing what I should or shouldn't do; the grunting and groaning and flexing and posing...not my thing. Luckily, my wife had been a member at this place called BBB where she raved about the people and the workouts. When I told her of my interest, she showed me a video of a workout on the BBB Facebook page. It looked tough but fun. I saw people of all ages, with different body types, working out together with resistance bands, kettle bells, equalizers (picture a free standing, inverted U), heavy ropes, jump ropes, and dumbbells. There were calisthenics and push-ups, chin ups; it looked like they did a bit of everything. My wife explained that the one-hour workouts consist of a cardio warm-up that's about 15 minutes long, followed by circuit training set up as two minute stations. I joined in August of 2012. I started going three times a week with my wife. About two weeks later we added the Saturday class - probably the most challenging class there is, as it's practically a full hour of pure cardio. After about a month, we started going 5 days a week. That's when we really started to see results. The owner, Kaiser, offered a "27 Day Weight Loss Challenge" that we decided to try. For about 45 bucks, they measured our body fat and gave us a nutrition plan to follow. Between the fitness and nutrition changes, we were both amazed with our results. In 12 weeks, I lost the beer gut, along with 24 pounds. I went back to the doctor and had my blood work done - everything came back normal! I look and feel fit, inside and out. So, what is it that keeps me going back to BBB? It's essentially three things: the trainers, the members, and well...a vision. There are three trainers at the Bayside location. Josh, who blends technical expertise on form and function with electrifying jams (he DJ's on the side) and rapid pace. Nick is just fun to train with. He's high energy; his form, humor and excitement always keep the members motivated. Finally, there is Kaiser, the owner. I never met anyone else with such an acute ability to remember the smallest of details about a person. When I first met him, we spoke for maybe 3 minutes. I briefly mentioned my high triglycerides and low HCL. 6 weeks later, out of the blue, he pulled me to the side and asked if I had gotten my blood checked again since joining. I was impressed that he remembered that detail about me, as I was still kind of new and just one of hundreds of members he deals with each week. He can be funny, sometimes serious and always sincere; he never stops looking for new ways to challenge the members. As unique as each trainer is, there are standards in the training that always apply, regardless of who's coaching. They will ALWAYS model the correct form for an exercise and demonstrate different techniques to make it challenging for beginner, intermediate or advanced people. They will ALWAYS support and encourage you if they see you struggling. They will ALWAYS call you out if they see you "coasting" through a routine; they will hand you a heavier weight if they know you can handle it (believe me, they KNOW). They are NEVER demeaning or derogatory, but if you need to push harder, they're going to push. BBB has amazing members. I have met an incredible arrangement of fantastic, everyday people. There are folks from all walks of life and all ages (teens to seniors and everyone in between). There is an underlying resonance among the members; it radiates the notion that we are all in this for the same reason, that we suffer and sweat together, and inspire each other to reach our goals. I never thought in a million years I would say it, but...I have "fitness friends!" Finally, there is a vision. BBB isn't just a place to work out for an hour a day; it's a community. Kaiser hosts many parties for the members and staff, at restaurants and bars in Bayside and Great Neck. He wants to bring people together; to express his gratitude for our commitment and support, yes. But more importantly, to foster a bond between the members, to create a network of friends and family that support one another in all of their endeavors, whether they pertain to fitness, nutrition, or anything else in life. I would invite anyone who is interested in changing their lifestyle to give BBB a try. As someone who has fluctuated between chubby and curvy her entire life, I have funneled hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars into the fitness industry in hopes of becoming fit for the first time. I got close in my senior year of high school, by working out five hours a day at a boxing gym that has now closed. Since then, I've been a member at Crunch, Equinox, New York Sports Club, Towers at Water's Edge Health Spa, etc. Nothing worked for me because I wasn't willing to commit to the goal - there was always something else that took priority, whether it be work, school, or personal relationships. Well, at Better Body Bootcamp you have no choice but to commit! The energy as soon as you walk through the door is infectious and it's impossible not to 'buy in' when so many people around you already have. Anytime I wake up sore and dreading my workout, I remind myself that showing up to bootcamp is half the battle. Once you're there, it's easy to get swept up in the excitement and forget that you were ever talking yourself out of getting healthier. Things I Love About BBB: 1. I'm always working out for MYSELF here. If you're like me, group fitness classes give you severe anxiety. At places like Crunch and Equinox, I always worried that I wasn't as thin or flexible as the people working out next to me. I thought my general rotundness singled me out as someone who just wasn't trying hard enough to get fit. I dreaded the moment the instructor was going to yell at me to pick up the pace, or interrupt the flow of the class to correct my form. At BBB, I never have to worry about any of that. The trainers are attentive, but not to the point of being overbearing. If I run out of breath in the middle of burpees and I feel like I need a second to collect myself, I do so without fear of judgment. Then I push myself to do better on the next try. Everyone is working toward the same goal. Some will be flying and some will be dying, but you're not alone in either category. It's challenging at all fitness levels! I've marvelled at some of my classmates. There are some folks here that have no quit in them whatsoever. 2. THE STAFF. I can't say enough wonderful things about the staff. Where to begin? The first trainer I had was Josh. He's young. vibrant, with a great sense of humor that gives you something to laugh about even as your legs are about to give out underneath you. He was incredibly helpful, showing me how to use the TRX ropes properly and offering a quick word of encouragement when I looked about ready to pass out. Kaiser was also present throughout the workout. He signed me in on the first day, asked me about my eating habits, and gave me a printout of an easy-to-follow meal plan to maximize results. He also hinted at one of my classmates to pair up with me because I was new. I appreciated that most of all because I felt like a party crasher at first. By the end of class, I had made a new friend. And then there's Holly, who I think manages BBB(?) She always responds to my questions via e-mail in a timely manner. When I couldn't go for three weeks due to a health issue, she helped me resume where I left off in my membership plan. Before I forget, Nick ran the hardest workout of my life this past Saturday (with some help from Josh). Summary: the staff is made up of sweet, enthusiastic fitness professionals. 3. The schedule is insanely convenient. I work in the city, which is a two-hour commute from Bayside on a good day. One of the most common excuses for not working out is that we simply don't have the time. BBB's schedule makes it possible for you to make time, no matter how your day is structured. There are classes early in the morning, late at night, and almost every hour in between. I can't rationalize being too busy to go because there are so many classes offered throughout the day. If I have time to sit at home, I definitely have time to go to bootcamp. So there you have it! By far the best decision I've made. Rates are decent and calculating what you spend on a gym membership and other active activities doesn't add up to their membership, very reasonable and you get what you pay for. If you join better body boot camp and dedicate to there program you will get the results you've always wanted. It's an amazing program where you experience diversity and motivation. There is no such thing as advance or beginners. You come to a session expecting exactly what you signed up for. No ones perfect!! And I love that all the trainers push you and motivate you to the limit. Expect a warm welcoming on your first day and expect to gain friendship when you join. i first bought a coupon from living social for better body bootcamp and i have to say, my money was 100% well spent! I've been going to bbb for almost 3 months. I really love it here. Kaiser, nick and josh always make me feel super motivated ! The workouts are really really fun and it never get boring. We rarely do the same thing twice. We work on our core/legs and arms basically everyday. It's of course challenging but after the workout, feeling amazing doesn't even describe how you feel. It makes me feel a lot more energized throughout the day (I usually go to the 6am class) The members are great as well! (to me, that's important because if people make you feel like a whale & give you dirty looks, I would not want to work out there :(! ) Everyone is super friendly there and don't make you feel like an outsider. I've joined 2 gyms before but I rarely went but I can say after joining bbb I've religiously gone 3-4 times weekly. I signed up for a whole year and I can already see that it's def worth my money. and something i love is class schedule. they offer super early classes (6am, mid day and night to fit everyones schedule. it's super fun :) i love it! read more

Hi, Lisa Roubanis here. I am so excited to be here on Yelp to tell everyone how much I love Better Body Bootcamp or as I like to call BBB. I've been a hardcore gym rat for a long time now and for good reason too. It all started when I got into a major car accident at a young age of 21. It was the most traumatic experience of my life undergoing two knee surgeries when I thought I was an unbreakable kid. Going through physical therapy and acupuncture for the next year of my life was an uphill battle physically, mentally and spiritually. Throughout the healing process I vowed to myself I will do everything in my control to take care of my body and never be in a compromising situation again. I've been a member of many different gyms. Some were good and some were ehhh. Some delivered a great workout....most....ok some of the times. I ended up becoming a member of multiple gyms because they would only have one or two good classes throughout the whole week and I wanted to challenge myself more than once or twice a week so...I ended up searching for more classes elsewhere. I soon realized that was a vicious cycle of weak classes and a depleting bank account. My husband called me one day and said, "There is a bootcamp class close-by on Groupon I think you would like. Give it shot". With a few clicks on my phone, I had the voucher in my account. A few months went by and I completely forgot about it. Good thing I noticed that the Groupon was about to expire and went in for my month of trail workouts. By the end of the first week...I didn't even want to talk about it that much as I thought I might jinx myself and I will wake up from this delightful dream of amazing workouts! Hands. Down. The. Best. Workout. Ever. Ladies and gentlemen...my love affair with BBB begins. BBB is like my second home. Everyone makes you feel so comfortable and welcomed. I can be in the worst mood or have had the longest day ever and by the end of my workout, I am the happiest and most carefree person around! Every single trainer knows you and welcomes you in like you've been part of the BBB family all along. You don't have to be the most hardcore/jacked/buffed person out there to belong here with us. You just have to show up! That's it. It's that simple. Kaiser, Josh and Nick treats everyone the same. Whether you are there to lose weight, gain muscle, tone up or whatever your M-O is, you will have a workout tailored to your fitness goal each and every time. It's almost as if we are being personally trained at each of our fitness levels. It is so refreshing when you reach the next level or achieve things you never before thought you can even attain like strict pull ups, push ups or burpees. It's really a great feeling when you surpass goals you never thought you could reach. And trust me, they will ensure you reach your goals by documenting it for you on your own personal chart. You can have your body fat/BMI/weight/measurements recorded from time to time and see your remarkable results. The schedule BBB has set up is a highway towards success for everyone. The flexible time schedule allows for anyone to get their one hour in Monday through Saturday. I am still hoping they open Sunday (ahem ahem...cough cough...LOL). They have classes as early as 6am to as late into the evening as 9pm. There is always parking within a three block radius and I hope into any classes that fit my schedule for that day. For example, I'm going to the mall on Monday with my girlfriend right after work, so I'll try to wake up and go to the 6am class so I can get my BBB fix for the day. It's funny because pretty much all my friends know how addicted I am with better body that when we make plans it always involves BBB. This is an example of a convo with my friends..."let's get a mani/pedi?...Oh heck yes!...What time does BBB finish?...I should be showered by 5:30...Perfect" or "Dinner next Friday night?...How about 6:30ish...After BBB of course." Haha. But seriously...I got to get my fix! LOL My deeply rooted motivation to staying healthy from the inside out was a promise I have always kept to myself for some time now and with better body it is so easy to upkeep with my well-being. Best workout ever, plain and simple. Have gone to tons of gyms, spin, gravity, yoga, Pilates ......... on and on. After 20+ years of fooling around I have found my zone. Just as my old gym membership expired and I was about to renew it my friend told me to try better body bootcamp with her. I put it off for a few months until she presented me with a promotion for a 1 month membership. After the first workout I was all in, I was addicted to the atmoshphere, the challenge, the people, and most importantly the peace of mind I left the bootcamp with. With 2 young children, a husband, and a high stress occupation better body gave me the relaxation and peace of mind that was much needed. I know it sounds weird but the pain from a challenging workout "hurts so good" (as we say) that it continuously reminds me that pain is temporary and if you work through it you will reap the benefits in the end. The stress relief is something that one must come and find out for themselves. I have left work many times feeling like I was carrying the weight of the world on my shoulders. After a workout with great music, great people, and lots of sweat I leave feeling like a completely different person as I'm so relaxed and I feel at least 5 pounds lighter. Not only do I love better body but my children beg me to come along too. The trainers are just so welcoming, loving, and understanding that they become your second family. I love that they get to see mommy working hard and partaking in the maintainance of good health which makes them want to get up and moving too (not that 4 and 7 year olds need much motivation to get moving). My children constantly ask for the trainers and how they're doing when they haven't come to a workout with me for some time and they tell their gymnastics coaches and karate teachers about how to do things like high knees and burpees correctly as they saw it shown that way at better body.:) Now down to the weight loss. I'm not one to like to step on the scale to keep up with progress. I am more into how I look in the mirror and how I feel. I get the occasional Shawntay, you're looking good girl what's your weight but I don't feel pressured to check in every week or after every workout as I was at other gyms. So when the question is asked I'm able to do it with ease. Although I have plateaued a time or two for my eating habits my weight has always gone down and stayed there but it has yet to go back up which is a plus. During my times of plateaus I'm encouraged with reinforced healthy eating habits and how to modify a move to burn more fat than build muscle since that is my case. Even with a buddy system (where you always meet new people) and people at differentl levels of fitness you always feel like the workout is tailored just for you. It's group personal training but an eye is always on you even when you think it's not to correct form and/or modify an exercise to hit the key trouble areas of your body. I have brought many people into better body bootcamp on promotions as I was brought in, some stay some don't. You have to be serious and commited about your health to take on a challenge such as the totAl body workout you recieve at better body. As one of the posters on the wall says, "their workout is our warmup", and it''s so true. But even those who don't stay beyond their promotion still ask about the trainers and constantly say that they wish they were as committed because they love the atmosphere and most of all how I look. I went to Better Body Bootcamp for a full year and fell in love with the workouts and the people. The trainers know exactly what they are doing and you always leave there knowing that you've gotten your ass kicked! I stopped for a while, thinking that I may find something better or different. I tried different gyms, classes etc. After a few months, I was jonesing for BBB... I had to call Kaiser up and tell him to sign me up again! I was received with open arms...kind of felt like I was going home!! It felt good to know that all of the clients (my friends) and trainers continue to support and motivate you during your workout and in life. I have met the best group of girls here at BBB... we train hard and we play hard. I love this place for their kids bootcamp. I highly recommend it. The instructor, Josh, is excellent with kids! Prices are also great!

Where do I start, this gym is what I think about when I think of the perfect gym. It started with the location and then It quickly moved to the awesome energy and knowledge that you get from the trainers here, they are eager to help and will to take time with you. Also they understand what you are striving for and they WILL get you there and further, while having fun. The classes are intense for every level person, and you will love the diverse workout combinations. I did not think that at my age I would be able to do this at all, but I am happy I tried and see that I can do it. They care about their members! I am so happy I joined. Best decision I made. I never saw myself as being physically fit. A dear friend and long time member who knew exactly what I needed and was looking for referred me to BBB. I grew up a severe asthmatic. In and out of hospitals most of my childhood and teen years, My asthma was severe enough that I needed to be on medications everyday and any type of exercise further induced it. I was never an active person. Excused from gym and never participating in any type of sport. Due to the medications and inactivity my weight has fluctuated all of my life. Then a little over a year ago BBB came into my life. I began being able to do the very minimum. With the encouragement and motivation from the trainers and fellow members I steadily improved each time I went. Now, at 44 years old and still an asthmatic (though not as severe) I am healthier and stronger then I ever have been. I'm doing cardio exercises, which I thought would not be possible, strength training and so many things I never thought I would ever be able to do. I truly love BBB. I recently entered my 30s with a real kick start desire to get into shape. I am NOT a gym person, and until recently wasn't a 'runner' either. A friend suggested I check out BBB because of the type of workout challenge. BBB allowed me to take a complimentary class to make the decision for myself. I loved it! I especially loved the SUPPORT that the trainers provided. Throughout the session and at the end, positive praise was sent my way and it felt great! I joined for a month and then took a short break. While on hiatus, I kept fantizing about BBB; the workout really worked for me and running wasn't giving me the type of workout I desired. When I decided to come back, Kaiser greated me at the door with a gigantic hug and smile without judgment for my absence. It was like I never left the BBB family. Here are some of the reasons I decided to return: -BBB nurtures mind, body, and spirt. The team is super supportive and encouraging in just the right ways. (They reinforce you while working out, they provide warm-ups and cool-down exercises that are great. I'm gonna make this short and sweet. 1 year later and I'm down 30lbs, and 3 sizes!! Better body bootcamp is not a boring tedious gym, it's a fun workout. I first heard about Better Body Boot Camp at the barber shop. Many guys there had signed up and I could see the results! I knew I had to get myself back into shape and thought this may be what would work. I had tried MANY different diets and exercise programs, and decided to give BBB a try. From the first class, I felt extremely COMFORTABLE. The trainers are personable, and they motivate you to give it your all. They WILL NOT let you give up. Being out of shape, I usually feel awkward dealing with a personal trainer. This IS NOT the case at BBB! The trainers push you, but they understand that you have to work at your own pace. It's not the typical "gym" where people judge you because you are out of shape. BBB also helps you to improve your diet, so that you can achieve the maximum results. They even do an optional biweekly weigh in/measurement to track your progress. The results are AMAZING! After only one week, I feel my clothes fit better and I have more energy. I've been working out at gyms on and off for over 30 years. Mostly off because of loss of motivation and because of ineffective workouts. Better Body Bootcamp is Fabuloussss!! The workouts are INTENSE which is EXACTLY what I need , and yet SOOO Much Fun. I'm experiencing challenging, high intensity workouts and CAN'T WAIT FOR MORE!!!!!! I love the way you begin on the hour with an INTENSE warm up, and then get right into stations. Again, the stations are HIGH INTENSITY, yet fast moving, enjoyable and worth it! I've only been a member for 3 weeks and feel so much better. I LOOK FORWARD to EVERY session and truly believe I found what will work for me.
