Food and service from all the workers were wonderful the ambiance in the store is cool and a good spot to hang with. My favorite go to order is an iced regular americano with real honey and cinnamon. Ordered ahead and picked up inside, thank goodness because the drive-thru line was down the street. Got the Caramel Buzz with oatmilk. Sweet and creamy, but tasted like a typical caramel blended drink...good, just not super memorable if I'm being honest. The cheese danish was pretty and tasted pretty good, but not my fav. Soft, slightly sweet and had a hint of lemon. Staff inside were extremely nice, super joyful and welcoming and they had really cute apparel too. Quick, easy stop...just order ahead. Just checked out the new Better Buzz Coffee Roasters location and they absolutely nailed it. First off, the space feels fresh, clean, and super welcoming. You can tell a lot of thought went into the layout and the vibe. It already feels like one of those spots that's going to become a go to for the neighborhood. Food and drinks were on point. I usually go with the Better Breakfast Sandwich and it did not disappoint. Great flavor, cooked right, and actually filling without being heavy. Paired it with the lavender blueberry lemonade refresher, which sounds a little out there but is honestly one of the best drinks on the menu. Super refreshing and not overly sweet. What really stood out though was the team. Service was fast, friendly, and just genuinely positive. Nancy is doing an incredible job leading this crew. You can feel the energy and organization the moment you walk in. Huge shoutout to Malaya and Keanu. Both brought great energy, were attentive, and made the experience feel personal while keeping everything running smoothly even during busy moments. I really enjoyed my visit to this new Better Buzz in Imperial Beach, San Diego. The employees were hoot and friendly. It was April 1st and they were not short of April Fools jokes. I had the Feta Avocado Toast Deluxe with cortado. I was skeptical at first on the cortado, because the last time I ordered a cortado at the Better Buzz, they made me a cappuccino. This was a touch heavy on the foam but much better than the previous one. This just had a thin layer of foam and a great 50/50 ratio underneath. The espresso had a great robust flavor and was smooth to drink. Well done. The avocado toast was good. Although I prefer freshly sliced avocados, the avocado spread the place on this toast is pretty good. The thick cut multi-grain bread is quite good. The toast came with sliced cherry tomatoes, crumbled up feta cheese, and butter on the bread. It is perfect for a light breakfast or lunch. Like I said, the employees were quite the festive bunch. They are all very welcoming and friendly. They offer good conversation if you engage them. This location has a large inside and outside dining area. and a well organized drive thru with employees helping things along. read more

We had a large order for our large family and appreciate the patience rotating through each member's desires. The food was delicious and fresh. Each item was reasonably priced and I felt especially surprised to see that drinks could be made with varying degrees of sweetness. (A sign was placed on the pastries case). I had the Avo toast and Moroccan-spiced ice coffee. Yum! The restaurant and restrooms were clean and properly maintained. We noted an outdoor area for seating but needed the tables to accommodate the children. I'd definitely return to try more! read more

I work around the area and was so happy when they opened! I have ordered drinks a few times now and the online order has always been a smooth process. The new Better Buzz just made Imperial Beach complete (well, if we could make the water clean so we could surf regularly, THAT would make IB complete). We now have the perfect mix of old IB and newer/modern spots in town. Was in with the family and the experience was exceptional.
