It's the next day and he hasn't received a text and we've been on hold for over 20 minutes with the pharmacy. The test is $65 for fast results but he hasn't gotten them yet. I have had only positive experiences with Better Life. The staff is knowledgable, friendly and helpful. I used to belong to one of the chains and my experience here has been far superior and more personal. They've worked with my insurance company including COBRA and Medicaid; and they provide delivery when I cannot pick up. I was lucky enough to live next door to Tucker Drugs. Every time I walked in there, I was greeted with a "Hi Nicole." My pharmacist knows my name? Amazing. Everyone there is friendly and it feels like an old mom-and-pop type shop. The prices are WAY better than any other drug store and, if you ask, they'll order just about any product for you. If I didn't move away, I'd not only get all my prescriptions there, but also all my over-the-counter products. I wish there were a Tucker Drugs everywhwere, but if there were, it probably wouldn't be nearly as great. If you live in Hoboken, it's unbeatable on every level. read more

I have been a customer with Better Life since it was Tucker Drugs ... about 20 years. Though it's under new owners, the customer service is still great. They always fulfill my needs and they do it all with a smile. I have had a couple of situations that I thought would make it tough to refill a prescription but they went above and beyond to make my situation seem simple. I went for a covid test and I asked for a regular covid test , the pharmacist said $95. He charged me for a rapid test instead of the a regular covid test that takes 1-2 business days to get back. They aren't friendly there. Wouldn't suggest this pharmacy. read more

Love these guys, Ive lived in Hoboken for 11 years and moved into NYC and still use them..Im a bit lazy about calling the Dr. for my prescription refills and they call it in for me and mail the refill to me in the city. I am reviewing the pharmacy in West New York, New Jersey. These women in this pharmacy are the worst kind of human being. They talk to the elderly, very nice and sweet to get their information then they're nasty and when you tell them you don't wanna do business with them they still won't stop you ask them nicely they still don't stop the doctors office calls and they still don't want you to change to a different pharmacy, I have never heard of a pharmacy employee being so nasty and saying no that they have to use what kind of business customers are always right if they say that they don't want to do business means know what kind of business is going on there that they want your business so badly that they're so nasty human beings to the elderly These are nasty, nasty women, horrible human beings, toys the elderly they seem like they're nice try to say that you want to switch they promise you the world and then when they grab the elderly they get aggressive what kind of human being does that? I have lived in Hoboken for nearly a year, a mere three blocks from this pharmacy, without venturing in...until today. I was struck first by the sociable and welcoming atmosphere -- everyone who works here was extremely friendly. I came in for two simple items: deodorant and shaving cream. Both were discounted by about 20% off the usual retail prices found at CVS or Rite Aid. The store is organized in a simple, easy-to-navigate way. I will be definitely supporting Tucker for all my cosmetic, bath, and pharmacy-related needs from here on out. read more

This place epitomizes why you should go local. My prescription was very expensive because of my insurance deductible. The pharmacist took the time to review my lab results to see if I could use something over the counter instead and pay much less. He really worked with me to get the best solution.
