And then came the waffles. Warm, perfectly crisp, with melted butter and brown sugar that somehow tasted even better at the top of a mountain. Simple, cozy, and honestly one of the most memorable things I ate on this trip. Between the incredible scenery, the adrenaline rush of getting there, and those delicious waffles, this ended up being one of my favorite experiences in Wyoming. So happy I pushed through the fear and went.

The views were absolutely insane, that pictures simply did not do it justice. It only took about 10 minutes to get all the way up, which was perfect. The views from the top, despite the wind, were once in a lifetime. The Nutella waffle was my favorite. Anything with chocolate is what I will always order! The berry compote and the brown sugar waffles were also delicious. And, when paired with hot chocolate and hot cider, it was the perfect meal. We could've gone up here for waffles for every day. We had a ski pass that was good for our whole stay, and it included this team ride. If you are an advanced skier, sometimes the mountain is open for you to ski down. However, they say it is the hardest trail. Corbet's Cabin is not to be missed. It's worth everything and anything!

The seating hostess was kind and they had people moving in and out of there quickly so that you weren't waiting forever. I love that they even had a posted policy that you couldn't linger for 20 minutes after your meal was through so the others could get into the restaurant. They only serve breakfast and brunch, which I love because they specialize. The restaurant is older, but you could tell that they tried to keep it looking nice and the decor adds to the ambiance. We ordered the Cap N' Crunch French Toast and it was fun and delicious. The baguette added the perfect texture and balance. We also ordered the breakfast nachos and the sauces are drinkable! So good! The toppings were fresh and plentiful. We shared two dishes among three people and it was more than enough.

Breakfast comes with two eggs and a choice of meat. I also add on crispy hashbrowns and the waiter was wonderful enough to bring me a homemade raspberry jam. Absolutely wonderful. If you're in Idaho you definitely have to come by and try their French toast. Also the staff was amazing! He represented the company with pride and loved what he was doing. Absolute great with suggestions for things to do places to go in sites to see Texas was fabulous.

The food was okay-if a little bland on the hashbrown gravy. However, prior to getting our meal half of the dining room we were in was closed off and before we finished our meal (a good 45 minutes before closing) they were vacumning on the other side of the partition they'd pulled across. Not particularly welcoming, Elmer's and it's not the first time it has happened to us. This doesn't even include the table full of tomorrow's set ups that employees were working and gabbing at. Ultimately, either you're open or you're not. Vacumning around people trying to eat is rude. Be better.

My husband, daughter, and I came in for breakfast and were served by a waitress named Breanna. This was, without exaggeration, one of the worst service experiences I've ever had. From the moment we sat down, she was cold, dismissive, and clearly irritated. No greeting, no introduction, not even a basic level of courtesy. Throughout the meal, her attitude was consistently rude and condescending. At one point she rolled her eyes at my daughter, which was completely unacceptable. I also witnessed her speak to an elderly man at a nearby table in a way that felt demeaning and disrespectful--it was honestly uncomfortable to watch. She was also training a new employee, and while the trainee was kind and professional, Breanna was noticeably harsh and dismissive toward her as well. It raised serious concerns about how staff are being trained. I'm a nurse and have also worked in the service industry, so I understand stress and busy shifts--but this went far beyond that. This was a pattern of rude, hostile behavior that affected multiple customers. Because of this experience, we will not be returning to this location. Extremely disappointing.

Meal prices are about what you would expect for Jackson... overpriced for eggs and pastries. People rave about the "pig candy" which is 4 pieces of candied bacon they give you for $16. It was good and crisp, but so sugared that you honestly can't really taste the bacon part of it. I got the egg platter with sausage. The bread and sausage were great. Really nice quality. My daughter got Eggs Benedict which she also liked. They keep your coffee full. There is also a bar to eat at if you are solo and are looking for that option.

Cafe Genevieve does them very well. The biscuits were light and fluffy. The gravy was rich and flavorful with a plentiful amounts of sausage. The eggs done over medium were also good. A bowl of fruit was ordered with fresh blueberries and ripe strawberries. Again, a generous amount. Cafe Genevieve has a staff that hustles. The food is done well and the portion sizes are large. The costs are a bit high with an average spend of $25 to $35 pp not including a morning cocktail for a basic breakfast. If you are hungry, stop by Cafe Genevieve for a solid breakfast.
