Everything was sooo tasty and wow, the presentation of the food had me saying, "oooh" and "ahhh" every time the server brought something to the table. The Causo de Pollo was probably the most beautifully presented dish...for a moment, I thought someone mixed up our app order with dessert, but actually, no, apparently, their chef is an artist in that kitchen!! The Leche de Tigre was another eye-catching dish- huge serving and stacked up high on the platter & the ceviche was perfectly cooked, seasoned and crisp. Every dish and sauce was an experience all its own and so yummy. If someone had tried to tell me before today that I'd enjoy beef heart, I'd think they were nuts, but the Anticucho was so good!! So, certainly not worth this chronic headache. There are PLENTY of other places in the Town Center or in Herndon/Reston in general where you can get a tasty meal, not drop a day's pay, and have your entire party served well together. I want to start this review by saying that this place wouldn't stay open until this day without their employees, I have been here a few times and it's always the same story, the food is ok, but it seems to be over price, their waiters are always very friendly but the owner is unprofessional and very rude. Believe me that if I could have found another Bolivian restaurant that would sell frozen Salteñas sooner I would have taken my business somewhere else a long time ago, luckily I found another place that I can get my frozen salteñas from (luzmary in falls church) and for my Bolivian food I rather drive the extra miles to go to el Pike restaurant in Arlington or to lusmilas cuisine just so I can get a better customer service and less over priced food Definitely I would not go back to Betty's grill... read more

I ordered picante de pollo OMG the chicken was cold and dry by inside , onother time when I was there again picante de pollo they gave me the whole back of the chicken which we supposed to trash. Then at launch time, Majadito the egg was half way cooked and the yuca was totally cold it seems this people served food from previous day or something I do not recommended this restaurant. read more

When we asked to have the umbrella open outside for us to eat this young lady said .... " You have to go into the bar and ask somebody ." She didn't bother to ask her co workers for us. So I asked the bartender said he would take care of it right away and did absolutely nada ! The food has really gone down hill! The Colombian restaurants in Queens, Ny or anywhere else are so superior to this place !

The taste of EVERYTHING is delicious. The owner of the restaurant is such a kind person, it was my birthday and him and the staff sang happy birthday to me with a Colombian hat and the cake we bought to celebrate. Definitely a place to visit. I would say that it is one of the best in the DMV!!

I stopped by the new Empanadas de Mendoza location in Reston, and while the space is definitely…read moresmaller than their other spots, it has that perfect grab-and-go vibe. There are only two small benches if you want to sit, but honestly, the food comes out so hot and fresh that it's the perfect quick stop. I tried the deep-fried empanadas, and they were deliciously hot, crispy, and super satisfying. They offer so many different fillings to choose from, which makes it fun to mix and match. Each order comes with three different sauces, and my absolute favorite is the chimichurri -- so good I almost wanted to buy a bottle. (Which you can, because they actually sell their chimichurri sauce along with other sweet treats!) Small space, big flavor. Definitely worth a visit if you're craving something quick, hot, and seriously tasty. Service was great. Everything came out in less than 5 mins.

I am so excited that Empanadas de Mendoza opened in Reston!! I used to drive to Tysons Galleria…read moremall just to get their deep fried empanadas!! It's crispy and flavorful inside!! (Note: if you don't like deep fried in oil, they have baked empanadas as well). Our favorite has always been their spicy beef and then traditional beef. We also get their spinach empanadas and corn empanadas. Corn empanadas is sweet and savory, if you love sweet corn tamale you might like this one. Spicy beef is not spicy but has a light very light kick to it and very flavorful, not spicy at all. Traditional beef is also flavorful but more mild seasonings and has olives and boiled eggs in them. We have tried every flavor they have for the empanadas and I am excited to try other items on their menu that they did not have when they were located in Tysons. Inside the shop is small but very clean and welcoming. No sit down tables or seatings. It is just for carry out. Service is super friendly and helpful!! I recommend Empanadas De Mendoza!
