I dont't think this place changed much from Kim's kitchen. The quality is still there! Sometimes i get their lunch bowls which are affordable. I do wish it came with more meat but it makes sense because of the price of the bowl. My go to is the combination tofu. It is a lot of food for one person along with rice and side dishes. Parking here is tight but there is a lot of street parking on Colorado. read more

We used to come here when it was Kim's and frankly, was a little apprehensive about eating here when we realized it was under new ownership. Yes, you order at the counter (no big deal) and you get your own water (once again, no big deal). I assume it's because of Covid and the dining in area is tight. I stop by here when I visit my Mom and we have been here multiple times. As a Korean, their food here suits my palate...personally I think it's delicious! Even better than many places in Ktown. The service is excellent. Appears to be a family run place with everyone hustling and contributing so I'm happy to support and my belly is even happier to dine here any time I'm in the area. The owner just told me to never come back to the restaurant after he chased down my car in the parking lot. I am a good tipper. My mother worked as a waitress when we first immigrated to the US. I know that working as a server at a restaurant is hard work. However, at this restaurant, you order at the counter, pay at the counter and get your own water & extra napkins. I normally don't tip in such instances. Maybe I should. Maybe I'm too old school. But never should an owner tell a customer to never come back because I neglected to tip!!! That shows his true personality. Don't worry owner...I nor my family & friends will be going to your restaurant again. You need to control your anger issues. Your response is not accurate. The cashier never let me explain fully my perspective so he didn't hear my full explanation. Again, he came out to the parking lot and told us to never come back. Is this how you treat patrons for not tipping? Telling patrons to never come back is not good business but common practice at Beulah I guess. read more

Got takeout! Ordered the bibimbap, soondubu, and gimbap. The takeout packaging is excellent, and they give you the rice and bibimbap toppings in separate containers so you can mix everything together. I love the container, portion size, and selection of the side dishes! The bibimbap was great-- not a huge portion of beef (it's under the egg in the pic) but I wasn't expecting a lot of beef anyways. Wasn't a big fan of the lettuce, but it was easy to discard before mixing everything together. The sauce had a little bit of spice, which was perfect. Soondubu was decent as well, big chunks of soft tofu the way it should be. I ordered the spicy beef version and there was a nice kick to it. They were pretty fast--the time for the bibimbap and soondubu was about 20 minutes. I added on the gimbap once I got there, and it only took around 5ish minutes to come out. It was my first time coming in and I can say i'll be coming in very frequently. It's a family owned restaurant and the owners are super sweet. I got the dwenjang jiggae (soybean paste stew) and it was one of the best ones I've had. I'd highly recommend if you're looking to have Korean food. They have a variety of soups, marinated meats, and rolls on their menu, but you honestly can't go wrong. Their side dishes were also really good, which I can always appreciate! read more

Been really into Korean bbq lately. Saw this place that was close by and decided to give it a try! It's a small little gem of a restaurant. I got the Galbi beef and bulgogi. Tastes really good! The Galbi here is probably my favorite out of the places I have previously tried. The bulgogi has this type of "herb" taste which I like because it sort of balances the sweetness out. The disposable chopsticks that were given to me had this weird fuzzy stuff on it, not sure if it was dirt or something?? Just make sure you check your chopsticks. read more

We didn't expect great quality authentic Korean galbi and soon tofu but after tasting, we decided they're better than the vendors in the food court in Korean Plaza. All the sides are so bland they all taste the same, the galbi ribs were so chewy and fatty I had to spit them out and most importantly they didn't include kimchi with my to go order which is an important part. I love Korean food. I regret I waited this long to try Beulah Kitchen. The banchan is incredible, which tells you a lot about this restaurant. I avoid meat so it's tricky but luckily have been able to find items on the menu that have been amazing, including the japchae (picked around the meat, still amazing!!!). The soon tofu with seafood is great, and so is their octopus. Had the mackerel a while back and that's always a winner. Kimbap is also great. Anyway, just wanted to leave a review in case anyone was hesitant about trying a spot on the east side. This is the best place going over here. read more
