Clean, tasty, fast. Not a bad place, everything is very neat, they give you gloves so your hands don't get dirty.

First week of opening and Kingyubu is off to a strong start. Their ordering process is easy, the yubu choices are top notch and the ones we got were all tasty. I especially love the rice and how they season it. We got a free miso and lemonade because of it being the first week. The space is small but mighty and you can easily order for dine in or to go. I can see older folks having a hard time doing digital orders or not being served so this place is definitely geared towards the foodies, younger crowd or those more tech savvy. If you're passing by stop in and place a quick order. You don't have to come for a full menu or dining experience, you could literally order and take a "snack" item for the road while you do your farmer's market shop or various Honolulu events. So excited to have this new place as an option in Montrose. We'll be back!

It's FAWQING delicious. Now I don't have to go to ktown for tteokbokki and it's walking distance. The tteokbokki is way bigger than it looks and is definitely meant to be shared. Got the regular spice and it doesn't immediately overwhelm you if you have decent spice tolerance. Spicy Salmon Yubu hit the spot real nice too. Will go here often

Just checked out Kingyubu in Montrose and came away impressed. I tried the Grilled Bulgogi Yubu, Salmon Avocado Hand Roll, and Unagi Avocado Cupbop. Definitely more food than one person needs, but I wanted to sample a few different items so I could give a fair review. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and well prepared. As a bonus, they're currently offering a free lemonade with purchases of $30 or more this week. The lemonade was refreshing and paired really well with the meal. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area. Also service was great and the owner was friendly. Great addition to the Montrose area. Ambiance is nice and modern looking.

Good food, easy ordering process came relatively fast and the inside is just like a cute little vibe 10 out of 10 I recommend the spicy BBQ pork hand roll (plus they play K-pop!)

Very good and generous portions. The woman who owns this place is incredibly attentive and sweet. You can tell she really cares about customer experience. Highly recommend the house sauce. Great place for a quick bite to eat!

I plan to come here every week! So glad they opened one close to us. Super yummy and filling. Hits the spot! Fast service. Nice people!

Hidden Gem in Montrose, CA! You are first greeted with a warm welcome by the staff as you walk in. The ambiance of this place is cute and welcoming. The restaurant is very clean and organized. The walls have picture frames that describe what yubu is and have the cute kingyubu logo. The staff is ready to help whenever they can. If you have questions on how to order on the kiosks or ask what are the best sellers, they are always ready to help! Ordering is done at the self-service kiosks where there are pictures and descriptions to help you choose which toppings you want. But let me tell you... it will certainly be a challenge because every flavor looks delicious. I ordered my favs... lemon salmon (BOMBBB!!!!), bulgogi (korean staple), tuna mayo, and spicy pork belly, and salmon with teriyaki. Please refer to the pictures I have posted. Portions are filling and bursts with flavor! I also ordered the beef belly topokki. Let me tell you.... perfect amount of sweetness and spiciness. They have other flavors of topokki, such as original, rosé, and mala. You need to try!! I highly recommend. The portions for this dish is good too. Please try the lemonade. They have three different flavors: strawberry, mango, and peach. I chose peach and it was delicious. I will be back to try the other flavors! Thank you, Kingyubu!

Topokki is really good and great deal for order 5 King yubu & 1 free King yubu!!

I'm glad they have one opened up here in Montrose! I love this place! The food is so yummy, the Yubu is already huge for just 1 of them! Their kimbop is also very filling if you're not interested in the tofu pockets I love the side of miso I got so full that I had to share my meal with someone!

Tiny portion for $6.97. Size compared to a small Roku controller

I was super excited to try these because of the YouTube vloggers. Lemme just say the price already was a turn off for $6.97 each. But I was hoping the flavor would make up for it. Nope! Each one was moist and soggy and really sweet? I thought the fried tofu wraps were supposed to be crispy? It's packed with mostly super sweet seasoned rice and the toppings were just that, to top the very top only. I dunno why each one tastes the same, SWEET and all were very moist. It was an experience we had to try because all the hype. We've been bamboozled

Lemon salmon, king yubu x 2, beef belly, karage, baked salmon

Were able to try all different kinds today as they had a buy five get one free deal. Everything was delicious down to the sauces and the in house prepared lemonade. Staff was so friendly and kind, attentive to all our needs. Aircon was on, a refreshing escape from the heat outside. We only scratched the surface of all they had we can't wait to try more.

I LOVE TOFU SOUP!!!…read more got the beef tofu soup and it was deliciousss. one of our group had burnt rice but the staff were quick to replace it. the spicy cucumber here is so good i ate like 2 plates honestly. i will say is that the spice scale isn't super accurate. i am pretty bad with spice so i got a mild and it was just ... alright... i feel like i was missing a lot of the flavor, not just heat level. my friends who got medium and spicy let me try their soups and they were way better and honestly not that much spicier. so i would say give a higher spice level a try if you want more flavor in your broth. we also ordered a bottle of soju to share and some of the spicy chicken. those were good too!

This place is basic, nothing fancy and there's really no ambiance or special feelings associated with it - it's just an old-looking sit-down and serve establishment. The few people sitting to eat were random; I was there to order to-go. After asking what was the patrons favorite dish(es) the lady quickly pointed out the most expensive items on the menu. Of course she did. My eyes rolled but I was polite and decided to order something I recognized and wouldn't hate myself for in the morning. Chicken Teriyaki Can of coke My bill came to $34.23 Ahem! What? Why does a plate of Chicken Teriyaki cost so much? And why $3 for a can of coke? I just cannot wrap my head around it. This isn't a fancy restaurant at all! In fact, it's as basic as it gets with no ambiance or warmth. I cannot recommend this place at all. The food was pretty poor and nowhere near on par with classy eats that try to reach that $$ figure. Montrose is certainly a place where there are people with money and no taste...looking for reasons to spend it willy-nilly. I thought I took a photo of the plate when I got home. Guess not. Avoid if you aren't made of money and prefer well-prepared meals, not quick, mushy fast-foodish stuff.

I couldn't decide on one flavor so she was kind enough to put the sauce on the side for me which was great (thank you!). I love that they gave a combination of white and dark meat, I was worried it would all be wings and it was well portioned. I enjoyed having a little salad with the fried chicken pieces and rice. The sauce was light and gently sweet, a very complimentary dip to the light crispy crunch of the breaded wings. Service was very welcoming and friendly with a very clean interior and the smell of freshly cooked food. I really enjoyed the food here and I'm definitely coming back for dinner with the family.

Korean fried chicken cravings definitely happen and its good to have one in the foothills. We just happened to be in the same plaza shopping at the market nearby when we first noticed it. We've gotten the original fried chicken wings, original fried chicken drumsticks, sweet and spicy wings and the spicy garlic wings. I've found that the original and sweet & spicy are the 2 flavors I like best for wings. The drumsticks are a little too filling and I'm really in it for the wings. The flavor of the original fried is good and the crunch is even better. 10 pieces of these wings is $15.49 while 10 pieces of the sweet & spicy wings or the spicy garlic is $15.99. The spicy garlic was a little too strong for me. I needed to eat that with a good amount of rice. The sweet & spicy is good on its own. The flavor was not too overpowering. The double fried nature of these wings make for an extra crunch which we all look for... That's always good. We also typically get the pickled radish as a side but at times that is even too strong. Located on Foothill Blvd in the same plaza as Seoul Market and directly next to Sakana Sushi. Parking is in the shared lot or along Foothill. Service the times we ordered in-person was friendly. It seemed like a family run business. Signage out front doesnt really let you know that it's a Korean fried chicken spot. When we first parked in front of Chicken Day while headed to Seoul Market, I did a double take in wondering what type of chicken shop it was.

Hello Pizza brings Korean-inspired pizza to the neighborhood. Love the unique flavors (bulgogi,…read moreBuldak, potato) and pizza styles (ie. sweet potato mousse gold crust) they serve up here. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because I wasn't really a fan of their pizza dough, which to me, has a consistency of thin, dried, stale bread - that's just my personal opinion though. It didn't seem to bother anyone else in my party. I guess could round up to 4.5 stars 1. Bulgogi Gold Pizza (4.5/5) The bulgogi was marinated well and were evenly spread throughout each pizza slice. The base of this pizza is tomato sauce and it is topped off with onion, bell pepper and cheddar cheese. The gold crust of course if a layer of crispy melted cheese. The inside of the crust contains sweet potato mousse, which adds a slight sweetness to the palate. The combination works well. 2. Buldak Pizza (2/5) This is the newest item on their menu, so we had to try it. Love the concept of the flavor, but it just wasn't our favorite because it was too sweet. The bulk sauce is a Korean sweet and spicy sauce that kind of resembles BBQ sauce. We felt that the sweetness of the sauce overpowered everything, including the spicy part. The chicken was also too dry. I did like the stuffed cheese crust though as it had a decently cheesiness to it. It was good to try, but we will skip it next time. 3. Bulgogi Taco Pizza (5/5) What is there not to like about bulgogi and taco, let alone, in pizza form? The toppings are Korean marinated BBQ beef, chopped red onions, cilantro, and hot taco sauce. It was pleasantly savory and packed with flavor that's truly reminiscent of street tacos. 4. Potato Gold Pizza (5/5) If you are hungry and looking for a carb-heavy, yet satisfying bite, this is the pizza to get. It has tomato sauce base, topped with cheddar cheese, ground beef, strips of bacon, corn, onion, mushroom, sour cream and a slice of potato wedge on each slice of pizza. Of course, the crust contains the sweet potato mousse. The bacon and seasoned potato wedges really adds savoriness to this pizza. The corn and sweet potato mousse crust adds a tinge of sweetness. The combination of all the ingredients made our taste buds dance with happiness. Overall, I recommend Hello pizza to anyone who is wanting to venture to try new pizza flavors. It's a palate experience to remember!!!
