My problems are so numerous, I cannot list them all but here's a recap: Told me the price of the car was $9,000 more than what the car was worth (I checked Edmunds, Kelley Blue Book, other dealers and Kia's website). Pressured me to sign documents electronically but didn't get copies. I asked for a copy and was sent documents for a totally different person. I realized I was not getting a good deal after hours of negotiations. AFTER I stopped payment on the deposit check and sent them a letter with my five major complaints, I got a letter from them saying I didn't qualify for financing even though my credit is above 800 with no black marks. I changed dealerships and had a wonderful experience with someone else (less cost and less finance charge). Bev Smith Kia Fort Pierce are nothing but bait and switch. had the great opportunity to visit the dealership March 9, 2023 after a conversation with their sales rep. and manager on the phone . I gave them the information they ask for and said we will do the deal at 11;30 am . They gave me a choice of a black or red Serranto X . When I got there, the sales person I was dealing with gave me to another sales rep. the other sales rep. showed me a ex blue with a sunroof. I enformed her the deal was done. She returned and informed me they could not do the previous deal . I bought a car there a week ago. Anything with the name Bev Smith on it is a joke. I bought a 2019 Kia Sorento from Bev Smith Kia in 6/2021. At the time of purchase, I was promised that Kia will fix my steering wheel noise and trunk noise. I called multiple times to get my car fixed but they never returned my calls. Finally got to speak to someone when I brought in my car for an oil change and not only they don't fix anything THEY ALSO HIT MY CAR! So they promised to fix my car again.... Let's just say this happened in October 2021. A new service manager finally told me to bring my car in (May 2022) and no surprise!!! I go to pick up my car a month later (June 2022) and my car is still has the same damage. They took my loaner and gave it to someone else, they kept my car to supposedly fix it AGAIN! Oh and I found out today that the new service manager I was talking to is no longer there. This place needs to get their act together. 3 service managers in a year, they do not return calls, they do not follow up on their promises! I have been shopping for a Kia Carnival for a while. I had two little kids with me when I showed up to Kia. Kenneth came out and helped me look at and test drive. He was very patient and kind and did his best to give me the info I needed. Pat also call showed me all of the features in the car. The staff was so friendly and gave us snacks and water. The showroom has a kid corner that entertained my kids for an hour while we negotiated. One of the best experiences I've had at a dealership. read more

Just got off the phone (2nd call) with Bev Smith Kia of Fort Pierce. I'm experiencing an issue with my KIA Connect service and wanted to ask someone in the Service Dept a simple question regarding the issue. After being placed on hold a gentleman picked up and identified himself as a Service Advisor but gave no name...I immediately told him my full name and began to explain the issue with my 2022 Kia Telluride, but before I could even get 10 seconds into my reason/question for calling he HUNG UP the line. I was not yelling, I was not rude, I was in the middle of a question and he hung up without a word. As a US Army Veteran I can only say that due to this experience I will NEVER utilize Bev Smith Kia for any future service needs nor vehicle purchases, and anyone who asks me - incl fellow Veterans - I will advise them to stay far away from this dealership. Might possibly be the worst dealership I have every been to and that's really bad! Was looking at purchasing a used BMW for 40.000$ and was misinformed and just waisted my time. Spoke to 3 sales people and none of them could give me a simple answer to a question until I told them I was leaving and going somewhere else ( bought a similar car in a BMW dealer 1h away on the same day ). After me calling and asking about the price of the car out the door and was told it was xxxxx by the time I drove it was told that they add 4000$ fee to any used car the sell for all of the work they had to do. First they lied about the price just to get me to the dealership, then they couldn't answer what kind of work they did to the car that was apparently worth 4000$ because let me tell you when the guy told me that they did oils change, cleaned and filled the tires that is definitely not worth 4000$!!! I bought a 2022 Soul on October 12th of this year. The process was rough. The salesman came out and gave me a best and final price out the door which I thought great! I'll take it, then the sales manager came out and said, no and gave me a price almost $2000 higher. When I asked why and the sales man gave me a lower price, his response was, because he's an f'ing idiot! Seriously? Then no mats, I had to go back, only to get the wrong ones and wait another two hours for the right ones. I also was promised a front licence plate bracket. I was told it was on order and would take a week, that was almost three weeks ago. I called today, November 2nd and told it hasn't arrived. I just got home from my 7:30 am appt for a tire repair & oil change that took 3hrs to find HUGE scratches on my passenger side door & wheel well! I fuming!!! Of course, when I called they transferred me to the Service Department. That went to VM. I then got on the website & had a live chat. The 1st time I had work done after purchasing the car I got home to a huge puncture in my bumper. I had to fight tooth & nail to get it repaired. The poor circulation that doesn't allow the passenger side of the windshield to defog hasn't worked since we purchased the vehicle. They now tell me that there are too many miles on the vehicle for them to repair it at their expense. The diagnostics alone would cost $120 and then whatever additional expense for parts and repair. I told him to go back and look at the records to see that it has been checked out in the past and has yet to be fixed properly. When we purchased the vehicle we purchased the Line 5 protection insurance. The protection plan is fantastic but the service department that takes care of the plan is ridiculous! If I did not have this protection plan I would never go back there again!!! read more

This dealerships service department is a joke....service advisor told me Monday my car would be ready on Tuesday 8/29/23 and I would be called to come get it. So i don't hear anything all day and I start calling around 3 o'clock to find out what is going on. NO ONE EVER ANSWERS IN THE SERVICE DEPT. i called 4 times ..someone took down my info to call me back...no call backs at all. I called and asked for a service dept manager...none available...no service advisors available...al I ever could get was an answering service ....who took my info and apparently did nothing with it. or she passed it on and the service dept did nothing with it..this dealership should be embarrassed to open their doors at all! read more

After buying 3 vehicles in 2 1/2 yrs, I was on my way to another. After verbally working a deal, we agreed on a price. Finally filled out the credit app only to find they made a mistake on number figures and backed out. They wouldnt even meet me half way on the deal other than it wasnt valid anymore. My Kia review I needed an oil change, and a high pressure sales person said let me show you a newer version. The salesman pulled up a couple of vehicles that were not even equivalent to my Kia. When he said let's talk inside the sales office, the manager joined in. He told me he had a great deal for me, he would set me up in a lease vehicle, and give me a $3000 check for my fully paid Kia Sorrento. I said to the manager that's like asking me to give you my fully paid house, and move into a rental. I'm not sure if they thought just because I was a woman, I was also an idiot. Who would give up their fully paid vehicle to go into a lease vehicle for two years, And at the end of the lease you turn it in and you have no vehicle at all? It's for that reason I would never recommend this dealership, because they would have loved to legally steal my car for me. The service department here is poor at best. I had appointment today at 11am, arrived 10:45 to be told they were short handed, couldn't give me estimate on time for service because it was "kind of a crap shoot and he didn't want to jinx it"! SERIOUSLY! I had the appointment for a factory recall. And they had told me it would be 60-90 minutes. The man who finally came over said it would be 2-3 hours minimum due to staff shortage. So now they've made their problem my problem! After three calls to switchboard I finally got ALLISON who is only person I've spoken with today who cared or knew anything. She set me up with new appointment next week- I had waited two and half weeks for this appointment! But she listened and tried to remedy the issue. I constantly get emails and texts about trading in my car, lower interest and payment- would be hard to beat because I have NO payment and NO loan. If anyone there paid attention to their records rather then just sending out useless texts they could focus on service rather then sales! read more

They lewered me in with a decent internet price. After the test drive my salesman showed me a window sticker for $3995 for added amenities. I thought they were optional. Nope. It's a mandatory charge for things like pinstriping and nitro tires. The car was on the lot and worked fine. Why then is it required to get all these extras, which still had yet to be applied and obviously not needed except to jack up the price. Why ask me my desired monthly payment price and down payment amount if you are going to ask for a larger amount and increase my monthly payment by $150? read more

As usual is was a bait and switch. This time it was Wayne who called my husband, promising "he could get him into a new vehicle WITH A LOWER MONTHLY PAYMENT." What a joke! First of all I want to say that our sales lady Noelia was wonderful. She was a little pushy but very nice and lets be real, what car sales person isn't? The thing that really brought it down was when after we told her we needed some more time to think and wouldn't be purchasing a car today, we had to sit down and listen to an interrogation from a manager asking why we weren't purchasing and what our problem was. He wouldn't take no for an answer, and acted confused when we said we needed to think about it and look around some more. I felt like we were being held hostage since he had our car keys so we couldn't leave. I leased a Kia from this dealer in 2016. It was a 3!year lease/36,000. My lease ended and I turned back the Kia to the dealer. Not a single scratch on the car, only had 27,000 miles on the vehicle. I took very good car of it. Now because I am not leasing another vehicle nor purchasing a Kia I am being charged $400. I am furious and no one cared to help. My mother passed away and therefore using her car. I do not need to lease nor buy another car. I have one. So I am being penalized and it is totally unfair as THIS DEALER DOES NOT CARE FOR THE CUSTOMER. I WOULD NEVER EVER LEASE ANOTHER VEHICLE FROM THIS FORT PIERCE KIA DEALER. On may 11th, 2023 I had a 9:30am appointment for an oil change and tire rotation with a car wash at the end. I waited approximately 2.5 hours for a simple service to be done on my vehicle. At 11:45 I paid for my service and leave, I go to pull out of the parking lot onto federal hwy when I notice there is water leaking from the pillar between my front windshield and drivers side window. The water is running all the way down to the front dash, I wiped it away with my sleeve and my sleeve was soaking wet. I pull over and notice there is water leaking in from my ceiling from the left side of my vehicle all the way to the right side of the vehicle. I go back to the dealership and speak with the manager, Tim, who was very helpful. He looks at my vehicle and asks me to open my moonroof to see if it was clogged and states that it was not. He feels my ceiling and it is soaking wet. He says he can keep the car but doesn't t know how long it will take. I had to pick my daughter up so I ask if I can schedule an appointment to come back in the morning and he said "I don't want to hold you to an appointment just bring the car in tomorrow and we will fix it. " I bring my car home and water starts to leak out of my light fixture on my ceiling(I have attached pictures) so I take it back in the morning and they keep my car all of may 12th and may 13th. When I drop it off I explain that I would like the giant water stains on my ceiling to be removed as they can cause further damage. I come back on the 13th and they say my moonroof glass was out of place. I have had this vehicle since October 2022 and I take it for car washes often and drive through heavy rain and it has never leaked before. I explain to the manager that the water stains are still there, and that I specifically told the associate that I wanted the water stains fixed. He says "you can leave it and we can fix it" but I have a job and no extra car to drive, so I ask to make an appointment and again he says "I don't want to hold you to an appointment." On top of that, they were in my back seat and put my back seats down when all of the damage they caused was in the very front of my vehicle. I know from being an individual in secure environment (Licensed Broker) with individual personal financial information how you can receive and disseminate that type of financial information securely to second & or third-party vender along & with other financial institutions by using your computer, email, or go old school. Pick-up the phone and have a real conversation. Without having it impact a person's credit score in such a monstrous manner. This dealership has very few vehicles, more salesperson than vehicles The individual salesperson I interacted with lacks the skillset or professionalism to be proficient sales personal. This includes the individual in questions who decided the only way to help was to point-and-click until he got a better offer from whoever. Knowing or not knowing or even caring about the negative impact to my credit score. They care extraordinarily little about the consumer & the impact their behavior has on them. As I have purchased a Kia in the past & may in the future. It will not be from Bev Smith KIA of Ft. Pierce, FL. I did not purchase a vehicle from Bev Smith KIA of Ft. Pierce, FL. I filed a complaint with the BBB on this dealership regarding how this dealership requested 8 credit request without my permission in an attempt to get a lower rate for an over priced vehicle on there lot. I discovered they where doing so due to the notices I received on my phone. Please read the reviews that are available. This is a dealership that cares only about making a sale, and then puts on a performance in the sale room. They care little about you as a customer. This is not a dealership you want to attempt to purchase a vehicle from. The impact on my credit report can not be changed for two years. So for the next 2 years I will be providing a warning as to this dealerships impact on unsuspecting customers. read more

My Kia was recalled for the potential that the motor could catch on fire and burn down. They said it could happen driving down the road or even in the driveway. I took my car here for the recall. Of course this recall is from KIA. But this dealership had to make sure they got money out of me in the process. They told me my catalytic converter was bad and needed to be replaced OR ELSE Kia would NOT approve the replacement of my motor. That was the first lie. Then they told me the cost would be $3100 to replace said part!! Second lie. When I told them they were crazy and no way does it cost that much to replace the catalytic converter....the. NEXT day they by MIRACLE we're able to reduce it to $2100. After a week of having my car they called and said that the 2 O2 sensors were bad and they were unable to remove them from the old one and it would cost me another $580 and that there was NO WAY around it. So now since they have my car and I need it back, I have to pay out $2800 for what started out as a FREE ENGINE REPLACEMENT based on a recall from Kia. This dealership is very shady and take advantage of hard working people. They were also supposed to pay for the tow truck that took my car there as part OF THE RECALL. The recall states that any fees associated with the motor being blown from the motors failure (which 100% my car issue fell under) would be paid by Kia. Meaning tow trucks, rental car fees, etc. they have yet paid me back for the tow that I had to use to get the car there. I will also be posting this same post to the BBB as well as other social media sites. Take your car to Vero Kia or even Greenway Kia in West Palm, stay far far away from Bev Smith Kia. They are only looking to make money off people that need their cars to get back and fourth from work. Also if you think I am being unfair...google Kia own website for the parts in question. They have the catalytic converter for $960. I was thinking about trading my car in there after all of this but trust me I will not have anything to do with this dealership moving forward. read more

Purchased a 2021 Sorento this past May. It was my 5th Kia from them. There were questions about the 221 miles on the odometer, the Kia UVO app had the car registered to someone else and the second key is missing. Angelina Hoodak in customer service told me as of today there is no timeline for getting the second key. Attempts with email and voicemail to the General Manager Phil Perrone have gone unanswered. The car has a recall for a defect and the service departments first appointment is three weeks from today. This is the worst dealership I have dealt with. They do not care after the sale. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would... I needed a recall piece dealt with. I contacted Kia, and I was told what specific recall my car needed. I was told to go to ANY dealership, and my recall would be fixed, for free, asap. I have family that have used this Ft Pierce Bev Kia dealership, so I figured they'd be a good place to go to for the recall. I called them, to verify that they could provide the recall service I needed. They said yes, they could provide this service for free. I asked them what days/times I should bring my vehicle by. They told me any weekday before closing would be fine. I said alright, but ended up calling them again a few days later to double check what days/times I could bring my car in for the recall service I needed. This time, they said I needed to bring the car in before 1pm, or my car couldn't be worked on. I said okay, I let them know that I would be bringing a car in for a recall service in the next few days. They said okay, and that was the end of the call. I planned a date to tow the car in, took the day off of work, and planned to have my car towed to the dealership. On the Monday I scheduled to drop my car off, for the recall, I planned to drive with the tow truck, to the dealership. But it was suggested that I could just call the dealership and give my information over the phone. So I called Ft Pierce Bev Kia, at 9am, and I asked if this was their practice - I asked them if I needed to drive over with my car maintenance drop off. The person I talked to said I did not have to arrive with the car drop off. The person I talked to said they only needed to take my information over the phone. They took my car, phone number, the cars make, the cars model, the cars year, and I told them what recall I needed worked on. After receiving all of the information they asked me for, over the phone, this person said my car would be worked on later that day and I would get a call from Bev Smith Kia of Ft Pierce when the recall swap was completed. I said okay, and I waited. That same Monday, I called this Ft Pierce Bev Kia dealership, at 12:40pm, to see if there were any updates on the car... Whoever answered said there was no recorded info for my car, my info to relate myself to my car, and there was no info recorded that my car needed a recall service... They said my car had been sitting, but once they took my information again, that they would instantly get started on the recall. I said okay, I gave all of the information they asked for again. We hung up, and I waited to see if I'd get a call back from this location again. I didn't get a call back from them on Monday. On Tuesday, I had to call this Ft Pierce Bev Smith Kia again, several times... 9am, 12pm, 4pm...They said again that they didn't any recorded info about my car, my info relating myself to my car, or the info about the specific recall I stated that my car needed... I also ended up being told "they were just too busy" and that's why the recall had never been worked on... I ended up needing to talk to someone higher up. I talked to maintenance. I was told that my car's recall WOULD be worked on, and that I would get a call back. I waited to see if they'd call me to tell me the recall was done on Tuesday night, but I never heard back from this dealership. So I waited. I waited until Wednesday at 12/1pm, and this dealership never called me back. So I called them. When I called them, they had no idea what was going on... My recall hadn't been worked on. They didn't have any info on myself or my car or my recall... I'm honestly baffled. This recall service is covered by Kia's warranty. It's a necessity. The recall was an issue of safety. I can not drive the car, as it is. I was told by Kia that any dealership site would be able to easily provide this service, and that they'd be able to do it quickly. But that was not the case with Ft Pierce Bev Smith Kia. I needed to pay to have my car towed to this location. I needed to lose a day of work to be able to take my car to this location before 1pm. And on top of that, I've had to deal with workers continuously not knowing what's going on... Do not go here. They need extreme improvements. read more

My wife and I are in the market for a new vehicle. We contacted this dealership on 3 separate occasions. The first time we called, we spoke with a salesman by the name of Mason and inquired on a Sorento S X-Line that was in our price range, after some negotiation and discussion back and forth over the phone, Mason agrees to a deal that fits our budget and we agreed to meet them in person over the weekend as we reside over a couple hours away. Approximately 45 mins later that same evening, we receive a call back from Mason stating that he cannot honor that deal and asked for more money down and a higher monthly payment. All this after we had already agreed and started making plans on how to head up there. He stated that his first manager approved the deal and the subsequent manager that closed disagreed and pulled the offer off of the table. After a week goes by, we noticed that the same car was still available- we call back and ask for Mason but we were transferred to Pat- I advise of what we are looking for and he stated that he will call back in 20 mins to confirm that they still have the vehicle and work out numbers. Pat never called back. Finally, the 3rd encounter with this dealership, I receive a text early this morning asking if I was still interested in the same vehicle. I immediately responded and started to text back and forth with a sales consultant Nattalia over the next 5 hours. It appeared that we were close to closing a deal after we submitted our credit pre-approval and photos of our trade-in. It did not appear that we were too far off when all of the sudden she started requesting that we lower our asking value of the trade-in and for more money down. Not only did they have a markup on the vehicle, which we understand, but there was also an addendum that could have been negotiated. We are talking about a few hundred dollars difference- she later questioned our reasoning as to why are we trading versus selling the vehicle outright- we replied that we figured it would help close the deal. AGAIN this dealer starts to turn things around and squeeze more money from it's potential buyers- even though this vehicle has been sitting on their lot for over a week. I ended this negotiation and asked they delete all of our information as we will NEVER EVER do business with this dealer again. Recently Wallace bought the Bev Smith in Stuart (who was great). Now I am stuck bringing my car to this dumpster fire of a dealership in Ft Pierce for my service. Coming here has been the worst experience ever, both for their awful service on my car and their non existent customer service. I called to make my first appointment, each time the receptionist transferred me to the "service" department and no one would answer. I left several messages without a return call. I sent an email, no response. I had to go on their Facebook page and schedule my appointment. So when I bring my car in for the appointment I had to work so hard to get I was told my car would take roughly 90 minutes. Every service advisor I have had in the past has kept me updated about my car, especially if it is going over timeline I was told. Well over two hours later this dude (Jake) is nowhere to be found. Finally he tells me my car is ready. I leave Now to the most fucked up part- the very next day my car will not start. What happened to your 30 something point check? My paperwork said my battery was in good health- so why is it dying less than 24 hours later? I ended up buying a new battery thinking that would solve the issue and it did for like 4-5 days. Then exactly a week after my appointment car was not starting AGAIN! I brought the car back up to Kia where I continued to receive poor service. I got paired with the same advisor. This time i used their courtesy shuttle to go back to work since I have already lost work from this whole experience. 4 hours go by and It is getting close to the time where I have to leave my job, so I call and get transferred around and hung up on. I call back, this time I am irate. I was told by someone that they will call the shuttle and call me back to let me know it is on the way. I also requested a call from my service advisor to give me an update on what is going on with my car. 45 minutes go by, no call. My boss took pity on me and offered to drop me off at the dealership. When she did, the first thing I noticed was my car just sitting by the service advisor's bay. So my car is obviously ready but he couldn't be bothered to do his job and communicate with me. I couldn't find the dude and no one else there bothered to try to help me, even though at this point I am standing in the middle of the area where people drive their cars up to get service. I went to the other advisor on duty (who to be fair is wonderful- she used to work at the Stuart Kia and has provided top notch service in the past). She wad already overwhelmed and informed me Jake was grabbing something to eat. So I wait longer. Finally after at least 20 minutes of this madness a lady asks me if I need help. I asked her for a manager. I spoke to the new service manager and told him my concerns. He finds my paperwork and he sent me on my way. He did tell me though if there are any further issues to let him know, that was Thursday 10/17. Now it is Saturday 10/19 and I am sitting here for the third time in a week... for an issue that was not present until these people touched my car... for an issue I was assured was fixed less than 48 hours prior. I have lost all confidence in this place. I bought my kia with the understanding I had free batteries and tires for life as long as I kept my service up. Now in order to have that perk I have to deal with this shit show. I would never recommend anyone to purchase or bring their car here. Ripped me off on a brand new car that also needed a front end alignment scheduled appointment took them 3 hours. People need to get more training and gm needs to go to school for customer service! As long as they rip you off they don't care about you or your car all they care about is making 8 grand off you! They will keep you there over 4 hours to make a deal drain you to the point of just signing so you can leave. Stay away!!!. They jack up price 3000 with 150 worth of stuff. Then make a deal and u still end up paying above sticker price. They then came out with our car and it had scratches on the hood and window panel damage. They said bring it back and we will fix. Picked up and had more damage from the repair work done. Went back 3rd time for a totally new car.Then they said they would pay off my kia lease/ trade in but they didn't. Now I'm getting calls from kia finance that my payments for the car I traded in is past due. After 6 weeks of phone calls and going back to dealership, still nothing done. We bought two cars in a week from Kia in Fort Pierce. Sales rep was fine and verbally agreed to 0 finance for 3 months on both cars. Final price with trade in and discounts were agreed to by salesman and general manager.. Now we go to finance!! With insistent encouragement to add additional services to cars and lengthy paper work we left . Only to find out almost 3 months later that the offer of 3 month interest free loan was a hoax, now We owe a daily interest on the 2nd car. Spoke to all of them at Kia, they denied everything. Buyer beware!!! They'll tell you there giving you discounts, free loans etc. Read all the small print.. They'll have you exhausted and you trust finance and you sign. Bev Smith. I did not ultimately purchase a vehicle. My wife works a few miles away, and we saw a car online we were interested in. She stopped in, and we called ahead as she was short on time. The car was pulled around when she arrived, but when she began to talk about price, the salesman told her the price was the price. He did not offer a test drive, but went on to ask when and if she was bringing her husband in. I then began getting texts from the internet sales manager who seemed just as disinterested. I challenged the pricing with KBB's price, almost $3,000 difference and was not met with a counter, even though they would probably charge me $3,000 above asking in fees. Do your homework before buying a car here. I have purchased many cars from them, but this time was different. They increase the price of a car from the sticker price by almost 3K for nitrogen air and a pin stripe according to the side add on paper (cost is less than $200) then they want to give you discounts based on the increase they made. So that equals the consumer paying more than the sticker price. When I asked a sales person why are they doing this way of selling cars, I was told that comes from the head of the company. So everyone who reads this, please do your homework with other dealerships that don't raise the price and add dealer fees. Simply don't give your money away. read more
