What I love about Plaza is not only their selection of beverages, it's the fantastic staff that works there. I feel comfortable asking them any question when it comes to locally brewed beer, Arizona wines, and distilled spirits made in and around Tucson. I ended buying some locally made vodka, my father-in-law loved. Plaza has a quirky vibe I appreciate and everything is always labeled clearly with interesting descriptions. They had a few options to choose from and I was given a tasting in an actual wine glass, offered any assistance, and then allowed to wander. There were three of us who would be enjoying it, I was looking for a red, not too dry, and with a screw top. Because again, we are at the hotel. It is a small shop, but it had a lovely selection. Not just from the usual suspects either, I don't know much about Chilean wines, but they were well represented. And what I ended up picking out.
