When I asked about the differences between two running shoes, I was told it was "personal preference" without any explanation of how the shoes actually differed. When I asked about two custom insole options, the employee simply read the product names back to me rather than explaining the features or benefits of each. What surprised me most was that the one topic every employee seemed eager to discuss was the VIP membership. I learned far more about the membership program than I did about the products I came in to buy. I also found several employees dismissive when I asked follow-up questions, which made the experience feel more frustrating than helpful. The entire reason I chose a specialty running store instead of shopping online was to get knowledgeable guidance. Instead, I left feeling like I had learned almost nothing and would have been better off doing my own research. Very disappointing experience.

They have a wide variety of shoes, including sneakers, running shoes, and even Dr Martens. Tip: Be careful when ordering online. I have large feet. Most of the time, they don't carry my size in the store, requiring me to order them online to be shipped. My last order was a little frustrating. I was considering deducting a star due to this experience, but... I am reviewing this location, not their shipping department or their customer service in another state. I had entered a promo code online for 20% ($40) off the total price if you spend "X" amount of dollars. Which, I added additional items to my cart to reach this amount. For some reason, the discount did not apply. I noticed and contacted customer service immediately. I asked if they could honor the discount and gave them the code but was told, with no hesitation or understanding whatsoever that they would not do that. I then proceeded to ask politely if they might be able to issue a gift card for the difference that I would use on my next order. Sounds fair... right? The answer was No!
