After my exam my eyes were measure by the optician and we searched for glasses. I didn't see anything to my liking and so left. A couple months later I get a prepaid visa card from my health insurance that can be used to order glasses but will only let me order them in a free standing business. I called up this location and asked for my PD measurement as it wasn't on my prescription. I was told they don't make that measure meant unless you've picked out frames. I do recall the optician making the measurement. I think the optician doesn't want to give out the measurement because it would drive business away from where they work. An ophthalmologist, the person who measures your prescription, are trained medical doctors who diagnose eye problems and can perform surgeries. I won't return to this location because of my experience with the optician. Update: Was called back and spoken to by store. Was informed PD could have been measured but would have been thrown out when glasses weren't ordered. Suggested I come to the store for glasses 3 separate times during 4 minute phone call. I was spoken to politely and apologized to for the "miscommunication".

Long story short I went to Lens Crafters and they told me my prescription was not far off from what I was already wearing and had no clue why the Walmart ophthalmologist did not properly assess me. My prescription from Lens Crafters was a 4.50. Go elsewhere and don't waste your money here.

Their outgoing message says they prefer to communicate by text. However, they do not respond to those either. And no, you can not make an appointment online. After 6 points of contact with no response, I sent an email and then stopped in to the office personally. Lo and behold, they responded to my email 20 minutes before I arrived by sending a new patient packet (No, I am not a new patient). They refused to make me an appointment until that packet was completed, despite the fact I was standing in their office. STAY AWAY!

All I wanted and needed was my current subscription- for progressive glasses I purchased from a Walmart Vision Center in Texas filled as non-progressive. I asked Walmart if they could refill my existing prescription. "Sir.. no... we are an independent optometrist." Then I asked if they could simply pull up from their system my old prescription. They reluctantly did so, but then told me the prescription was expired. Ok.. can I simply see and have the existing prescription? "No sir, you can't have it and we can't show it to you". Frustrated, I left and went to PEEPERS. Peepers ASKED me what I needed and after learning about my frustrating experience at a Walmart Vision Center- informed me I did not need my existing prescription. They can determine wat I needed by merely inspecting my current glasses. Wallah.... I had new non progressive glasses from Peepers in just 2 hours! Peepers is a well oiled machine. Its now my go to place for anything Vision.

Had my cataract surgery in January 2025 and since then (the doctor quit) I have been unable to get…read morethe other eye done. They told me they would call me each month until the surgery was scheduled. They never called and each month I called them only to hear the same story each month. Even though I was told that I was on top of their list to get my surgery as of today it still has not been done and no schedule to so has occurred. The person whom I am talking with says the same thing each month--call us back and we will schedule your surgery. Last week she told me they would not even be able to schedule me until March if even then. There is no end in sight!!!

My mother went through Envision with her cataracts back in 2015 and I had to get the manager/supervisor/gal friday at Envision fired then, history may be repeating itself. I have been dealing with painful eyes for almost 6 yrs. Been to other Doctors with no diagnosis…read more No help. Today Dr Geering did extensive diagnostics (that the others did not provide) and found the issue. She gave me a treatment plain that I believe will take care of the problem.
