I called up and spoke to the owner. Without any debate he immediately offered to redeliver the flowers at his own cost to make sure things were right. I selected a delivery window of 8 AM to noon. At around 3 PM the flowers had not arrived yet when I called the flower store they said they would be there soon. Be then told me I had a delivery window of 8 AM to 9 PM. I went back and looked and even though I selected a delivery window of 8 AM to noon the automatic email says 8 AM to 9 PM after you pay for an order. I didn't feel like arguing with the guy over the phone so I'm going to leave him this review. They came around 6 PM. And nothing special. Just a typical flower arrangement many many hours late. This is about the service and lack of attention to details. I spoke with Taline who assured me all details would be honored on my $250, hand-tied bouquet for a stage presentation to a lauded and working Oscar winner. I asked for water tubes to be placed on the flowers since orchids and lilies are delicate and can wilt easily, especially when out of water for several hours, behind stage and under stage lights. No water tubes at all. She offered a photo of the bouquet before it was delivered which I thought was very sweet, no photo. I spoke with the owner the next day and this is why I gave this business three stars. A curt apology, a lie that water tubes leak, defensiveness for Taline peppered with he will explain the rules to her. Then he goes on to boast of his list of clients, Madonna, the royal family and how he understands their needs. He asked my name, (to start a profile I suppose) I gave it to him knowing he did not note it anywhere and by this point I'm reading that he's rushing me off the phone as I'm stating they should make this right with the next order. The production puts on events all the time and this account could have been a long-term account.. It turns out that when I expressed that he was over talking me and that I was not being heard, he suddenly had another call on the other line and offered to ring me back. Judging from how difficult it was in the first two minutes for him to simply listen to my concerns, I knew this was not true. So I respectfully declined the call back. He simply did not care to listen and that was made clear. In LA for some businesses you have to be a certain pedigree I guess for business owners to simply be basic-level respectful, and care about your potential repeat business. Production has been ordering flowers for 10 years and that's 10 future years of business missed from me. Unreal. I sent a very important $1200 arrangement and all I got was embarrassment. The recipient sent me pictures , please see attached. The roses were already stale, insects were inside them, the box was wet, the plastic that is meant to be under the flowers to separate them from the box were all over sticking out .... total sloppy job and honestly embarrassing. Specially for that kind of price tag. Come on you spend $1200 and you get this , shows total disregard for customers and quality. 100 roses in an arrangement from competitors can be purchased for half the price and at least you get what you pay for. I contacted them , I was told the owner will call me . Neither David nor Corey called me. I was sent an email saying they can't do anything at all. Disappointing Experience: Poor Quality and Terrible Customer Service I recently received an orchid from Beverly Hills Florist for my birthday, and unfortunately, it was a deeply disturbing experience. The orchid plant arrived at 5p.m. on a Friday with torn leaves, dead flowers, and to my shock, a staple embedded in each of three different leaves. This level of carelessness is unacceptable, especially for a special occasion like a birthday. I called David, the owner of the florist, the day after I received the orchid plant. He apologized and said he would send me a new plant. I called him in the middle of the week and he put the blame on the vendor for the quality of the plant he sent me. I texted him throughout the week and he sent back this text: "Hi dear. I'm waiting for the vendor to come by. Enjoy those till we get the new ones in." It was difficult enjoying them as I watched three other flowers die. He took no responsibility for sending a damaged plant which appalled me. It's been one week and a day since I received the flowers. Matters became worse. He is still blaming the carelessness on the vendor when I spoke to him personally by phone. He was dismissive, audacious and unapologetic this time and he hung up on me! This florist is not worth a one rating. I would give it a zero if the review allowed it. As someone who values quality and good service, I cannot in good conscience recommend Beverly Hills Florist. It's disheartening to see such disregard for customer experience in a business that should be all about spreading joy and happiness through beautiful flowers. I feel a little bad for writing this because the two people I talked to were very nice, however the flowers were very late and already wilting. Valentines day: my husband calls me at 8pm excited and asked if I received my flowers. Uh.. checked the front porch and walked down the driveway. Nothing. He was upset and called the florist who refunded him delivery and assured it would be there soon, the guy was still out for delivery. We go to dinner & get back around 9:45. Nothing. I called now... I'm pretty sure I spoke to the owner. He told me all the flowers in the area had been delivered so he would find out what happened. My husband paid a few hunnnnndred dollars for these flowers, so I requested he get his money back - this is not a few hundred dollars worth of service regardless of how nice the flowers are. He said I would and to check in the next day. So my husband and I go to bed. 10:30pm we get a call from outside - flowers are here! We get dressed & get out of bed ... dog's going nuts ... flowers come in. They look suspicious to me because they're not perky and new, they looked dated. There were actually some stems with the flower cut off which was funny to me. I woke up the next morning (no more than 8 hours later) and the hydrangeas are wilted & dead and the majority of the roses have slumped over. Also there were at least 3 petals on the floor. I was very annoyed. I called and the girl I spoke too was very apologetic and did refund me after I told her what happened. Message to the owner: It doesn't matter how many people call and "beg" you to have flowers delivered. Every business has a capacity. You clearly reached yours long before my husband ordered flowers, and you should have said no. Money is great but reputation is more important in the long run. I'm sure we are not the only ones who wound up with a refund. Didn't ruin my day, but my husband will be ordering from somewhere else next time. read more

My clients requested 5 bouquets they could take to the airport to meet their business partners. We called and asked for a delivery. When the flowers arrived and my clients saw them, they said the flowers were not up to their standards and they would not be taking them. (I could not have agreed more or been more embarrassed). The bouquets looked like someone went into their backyards and ripped some branches off trees and bushes and stuffed them in with some crappy roses taking their last breath. TERRIBLE. BEWARE! SCAM! Make sure you double check your flowers upon receipt, especially when sending it as a gift. My boyfriend ordered a deluxe bouquet for my surgery. He added an extra $100 for an additional 10 stems. However upon receipt 40% of the stems was missing. Have he not told me he ordered the deluxe bouquet I would have not known flowers were missing. I am in shocked a high end store in Beverly Hills will go to such extent to save a few bucks to scam people, especially during a pandemic. The flowers are beautiful nonetheless but it doesn't justify their action, I assumed it was an innocent mistake so I contacted them, only to find out they were out of stock of what we ordered. If you were out of stock, wouldn't you replace it with other flowers or send a prorated amount back as these flowers were not cheap, $300+. Also why would you offer an upgrade option if the flowers aren't available? After multiple phone calls, their only solution was to send me the replacement stems when they have it in stock. I asked for a prorated refund instead as the flowers had already died (which they rudely declined), the surprise is over and having extra flowers sent a week later defeats the whole purpose. Their customer service was not helpful at all. We are very upset with the issue and how they handled the problem completely. After talking to 3 different managers and a failed resolution, we decided to accept their offer of replacing the missing flowers only if it is the exact ones we ordered. However they delivered a different flower, and not just that, dead flowers! The front desk security had to hand it to me with all the petals in his hand.
