Came here for dinner with some colleagues. The food was solid and the staff was friendly. We started with the beef tenderloin lettuce wraps and fried calamari. The wraps were really tasty. The calamari was honestly the only thing that was bad in this meal. It is bizarre that everything we got was tasty and homemade yet they served calamari in stick form like they were part of a kids frozen meal. Beyond that the entrees were delicious. I heard the shrimp & grits as well as their salmon special that night were very good. My Kobe meatloaf was awesome. I don't often order meatloaf out but the flavor and wine sauce was on point. We were a party of 4 and went for a belated Father's Day dinner on June 20th at BHG. I have been going to BHG since 1995 when I would eat there on business trips. Then after moving here in 2003, my family started going. On this particular visit the little boy, while serving our water, spilled them on my wife's lap and soaked her dress. Of course they cleaned up the table and floor and gave some towels to my wife. But this set the tone for a negative experience. While the owner and son personally apologized, in addition, they should have offered some compensation, like a round of drinks for us on the house, pickup the dinner charge, or offer to pay for her dry cleaning. Its going to be a while before we go back. The little boy was too young, inexperienced, and not strong enough to handle a tray with water glasses. The owner should not have put him in this position. The food was fine although I would like the chef to start introducing some vegan options. read more

Amazing hidden gem. I've lived in the area for a couple years and didn't even know about it till recently. I like to order the wings and they are very good. I stopped in here a couple of months ago before the pandemic hit. I saw this place on Yelp, and it had a lot of positive reviews, which made me want to check it out. I wasn't sure where it was. I decided that I was going to try it for lunch and figured out it was right next to the bed bath and beyond. I have driven by this place a lot but never realized it was there. The place was pretty busy, but I was seated right away, and I ordered my food. I remember thinking to my self about how quickly the service was and how it seemed like a good place to come for lunch. As is often the case, I have driven past the Beverly Hills Grill too many times to count but never noticed it. I was asked to attend a breakfast meeting here with a client. At that time I did a little research on Yelp and found that the majority of the photos were about Eggs Benedict or Corned Beef Hash. So I assumed those would be good choices. At 7:30 am, there was no waiting and two other attendees were already there; so I joined them and we waited for the host to arrive. It turned out that he had been here many times before, but I wasn't the only first timer. When the host highly recommended the Eggs Benedict I was sold! He ordered them with a side of the James Beard Hash Browns and I followed suit. The rest of the group all ordered various other items. Service was excellent throughout the meal. When the food came out, my plate looked exactly like all of the best pictures posted. (I took no pictures because of the business meeting, and I'm not Yelpy enough. Also, there are more than enough Eggs Benedict pictures already!). All I can say is believe the hype, they ARE that good! I'm not a huge Eggs Benedict aficionado but I could easily become one based on these at Beverly Hills Grill! Next time Corned Beef Hash! read more

Beverly Hills grill always has a seasonal fun menu! I had the salmon burger and my Aunt had the tomato basil soup. She allowed me to try it and it was sensational! Her soup was not too creamy and had a light sweet flavor. My mom ordered the calamari, and the batter was golden, salty with hints of lime juice. It was so good. Love this place - the staff and food are so incredible. They don't take reservations, but it doesn't usually take too long to get in and enjoy original, fresh, and unique menu items. This is the only place that I will eat Eggs Benedict - fresh, homemade sauce (not from a packet) washed down with a Mimosa. YUM! The servers all have great personalities, and you leave feeling like you just had a great time and enjoyed a great meal. This is a perfect place to take someone that is visiting from out of town, to get away from "the norm". I enjoy this place so much - I hope you do too! read more

There is not one bad thing I can say about this restaurant! I called the night before to a business that doesn't accept reservations, but said they would be ready for us at noon the next day. I told them we were going to a cemetery service across the street and would have around a dozen, more or less, and would be there about noon, give or take. We showed up about 11:45 am with 15 people. We didn't wait more than 10 minutes. Edie and Alexis were perfect servers and lots of fun! We didn't have to wait for anything, considering we had such a large party. I have had many dinners at BHG and have always had a terrific experience . Last month was my birthday and elected to go and have another great meal, however that was presumptive on my part. My wife ordered a steak medium rare and the steak came and was extremely rare. We sent the steak back and it game back well done. I should have further complained, but my wife wouldn't let me. BHG is one of my favorite breakfast spots. They always have different specials on the chalk board, and their everyday classics on the menu. I've eaten here several times and have never been disappointed. This last time I had the surf and turf risotto with an over easy egg. AMAZING!! The risotto was so creamy with mushrooms and spinach. Ordered a chopped salad with salmon on my last visit. The salad was dull and wilted. The salmon was medium-rare. Not sure how farm raised Cisco salmon is acceptable to serve medium rare, but it is here! After roughly 7 minutes, I managed to gain the attention of our server. I asked her politely if someone could cook it a bit longer. 12 minutes later my plate came back with the same nasty salmon and the same disgusting chopped salad on it. I tried to eat it but couldn't. Our server must have said something to a manager. After discussing the situation with the "manager" her reply was..."we have new guys in the kitchen. I loved the bananas foster French toast at this location as well as the decor. It is a smaller restaurant located on the same parking lot as the soon to be defunct bed bath and beyond. I've been here 3 times and each time it has been busy but I have always managed to snag a booth. My date had the corned beef hash and he seemed to enjoy it immensely. Maybe it was what I ordered but I wasn't super impressed. Based on other Yelp reviews, I was excited to try this restaurant. There's a bar area and a seating area. The restaurant itself has a clean look. It sort of gives me a country club feel. They were pretty busy when I went so my eating companion and I decided to sit at the bar. A lot of people talked about the Huevos Rancheros and it sounded really tasty so I had my mind made up shortly after I sat down. They brought us our food pretty quickly. My Huevos Rancheros were okay but nothing spectacular. On the other hand, my friend had the chicken sandwich and french fries which looked pretty good. She seemed to really enjoy it and said that it was good. I don't want to count BHG out based on one visit so I'm willing to go again and try a different dish. read more
